A Fallen Heir’s Redemption By ( Lucian and Freya ) -
Chapter 55
Chapter 55 Arrogant Local Big Shot
Walking down the familiar streets, Freya danced around like a butterfly in spring, reveling in the feeling of her feet touching the ground. It had been three years since she last walked, and she had almost forgotten the sensation of solid ground beneath her feet.
Lucian trailed behind her with a smile on his face, looking at her with affection.
“Wow, isn’t that Minnie’s mom? How come she’s standing?”
“She looks so beautiful and graceful.”
“I thought she was going to be in a wheelchair for life. How did she suddenly get better?”
As they approached the school gates, Freya became the center of attention, the star of the show, attracting the gaze of countless parents.
Previously, in the eyes of all the parents, Freya was disabled, always confined to a wheelchair. But now that they saw her standing and dressed so elegantly, they realized just how stunning she was.
“Ms. Sarah, where’s Minnie?” Freya approached Sarah, who was standing at the school gate and asked.
Ever since the Finnegan family incident, Sarah had a newfound respect for Minnie’s family, and her tone was particularly polite as she responded, “Ms. Harrison, Minnie said she had a stomach ache during her last class today and left early. She said Lucian was waiting for her at the gate. She’s usually such a well-behaved child, so we didn’t say much and let her leave on her own. Didn’t you come to pick her up?”
Sarah appeared genuinely worried as if Minnie was her own daughter.
“Left early??” Freya furrowed her brow, her eyes filled with confusion. Minnie was usually so well-behaved, so why would she leave school early? She turned to Sarah and continued, “Ms. Sarah, do you know where she went?”
“I don’t know.” Sarah shook her head gently and replied.
Suddenly, an urgent voice interrupted their conversation, coming from a woman in
her thirties. “Minnie’s mom, you can stand up now? Don’t wait here, Minnie seems to have caused trouble. I heard she crashed into Sebastian’s car, the local big shot. You better go and check it out.”
Sebastian, the big shot of the area…
Freya’s face turned pale as she heard this. She never expected that Minnie would offend Sebastian in the short time she left school.
“Lucian, let’s go!” Freya grabbed Lucian’s arm and rushed in the direction indicated by the woman.
On the way, Lucian asked, “Fay, who is Sebastian?”
“He’s the local big shot, a complete thug with a dominant personality, who indulges in all sorts of vices. He’s notorious in the area as the top dog. How could Minnie offend, him?” Freya anxiously replied.
Upon hearing the news, Lucian’s eyes darkened.
Sebastian, oh Sebastian, you better not touch a single strand of my daughter’s hair, or else I will make sure to kill you, you scu mbag.
Soon, Lucian and Freya arrived at the scene.
It was crowded, with a car and a few people surrounded in the center, all just watching the spectacle.
Minnie was standing beside a Porsche, with plastic bottles sca ttered all over the car and the ground. She was silently looking down, while Sebastian was yelling at her furiously, pointing his finger at her.
“F uck you, whose wild kid are you? You don’t study well, and now you’re trying to pull a scam on me? Do you think I’m easy to bully?” Sebastian spat at Minnie, “There’s such a big road, and you just had to wander in front of my car, throwing so many bottles at it. There must be a lot of scratches, so make your parents pay up fast, or else I’ll kill you.”
Earlier, Minnie had left school early to sell the bottles she had collected over a long period of time. Unfortunately, due to exhaustion, she accidentally left them on the hood of Sebastian’s Porsche. Sebastian, known for his extortion tactics, immediately

demanded compensation despite the fact that there were no scratches on his car.
Many bystanders couldn’t bear to watch the scene unfold.
“What kind of grown man bullies a little kid like this? You don’t even have any scratches on your car, so don’t make things difficult for this child. Let bygones be bygones!” A kindly old man spoke up with a heavy heart.
“You old geezer, don’t mess with me, or do you want to help this little ba stard pay for my car?”
Sebastian narrowed his eyes and pointed at the old man, “F uck you, at your age, you should be preparing for your funeral at home instead of meddling in other people’s affairs. Do you believe that I can cut you down with one slash?”
The old man was instantly frightened into silence and couldn’t even utter a word.
After all, they were just ordinary people, who couldn’t afford to provoke someone like Sebastian, a local gangster.
Seeing that no one dared to interfere, Sebastian grabbed Minnie’s collar and shouted, “Tell me your parents’ phone number. They have to come here and compensate me with a hundred thousand dollars. Not a penny less!”

One hundred thousand dollars…
Hearing this number, Minnie’s eyes became dull.
She didn’t want to call her mother. Although their family now lived in a villa, it was all thanks to Lucian’s help. She didn’t want Lucian to clean up her mess. Nervously, she said, “Uncle, can I owe you the money first and pay you back slowly after I sell the bottles?”
“F uck you. You think you can get away with it?” Sebastian shouted back. He swung his arm fiercely, throwing Minnie to the ground.
“Ah!”
Minnie’s body flew in a parabolic arc through the air and was about to hit the ground when Lucian, as quick as an arrow, caught her in midair, holding her tight like the most precious treasure in the world.
“M-Minnie!!”
Freya cried out and rushed over to her daughter.
The two of them carefully checked Minnie’s body and, after replaceing that she was okay, they both let out a sigh of relief.
“M-Mom…y-you…you’re standing up.”
Minnic saw Freya running towards her and a look of disbelief washed over her clear eyes. She had thought that her mother would never be able to stand up again, but everything had suddenly changed. Her mother’s body had actually recovered.
Yeah, Mommy’s better now.”
Freya hugged Minnic tightly and spoke with a smile.
Is this what it feels like to be held in a mother’s embrace?
Since the age of four, Minnic had never been hugged by her mother. Three years had passed, and finally, she threw herself into her mother’s warm embrace. The usually strong Minnie broke down in tears, crying her heart out.
“Mama, hold me tight,” Minnie sobbed.
Freya’s eyes also turned red at this moment, holding Minnie even tighter.
Lucian, seeing this scene, had a tinge of redness in his eyes. He turned to Sebastian with a cold and murderous look in his eyes, saying, “How dare you throw my daughter?”
“And who are you?” Sebastian looked at Lucian with disdain and asked.
“I’m her father,” Lucian answered.
“Oh…if you didn’t show up, I would’ve thought your daughter was an illegitimate child without a father,” Sebastian sneered, lighting a cigarette and gesturing toward his Porsche parked nearby. “Your daughter hit my car, so as a responsible father, you should compensate me. This Porsche costs over a million, but I don’t need that much. Just give me a hundred thousand dollars, and we’ll call it even.”
“You’re asking for it!!” Lucian clenched his fists and charged toward Sebastian.
There were barely any scratches on the car, yet he demanded a hundred thousand dollars. It was clear that this gangster had no sense of reason and deserved to be taught a lesson.
“Lucian, don’t do it!”
Freya stepped forward to stop Lucian. If they fought with this gangster, it would definitely cause trouble. Although Lucian had many comrades in Sioux, she didn’t want him to repeatedly use military force. Once the Infernal War G od found out, it would not be good for his comrades.
“I’ll talk to him.”
Freya turned to Sebastian and said, “I checked just now and there are no scratches on your car. But my daughter did hit it with a bottle. We’ll compensate you with two thousand, and this matter will be over.
ill be over. What do you think?”
Sebastian didn’t even hear this belang
se he was too focused on Freya’s face. He had seen countless beautiful women, but none as stunning as Freya. She was like a fairy.
Compared to the women he had slept with, they were like common prostitutes.
“Hehehe.”
Sebastian’s face twisted into a wicked smile as he approached Freya. “Hey, little girl, ten thousand dollars, not a penny less. If you can’t afford to pay, it’s simple. Just come sleep with me for a night and you won’t have to pay!”
