A Fallen Heir’s Redemption By ( Lucian and Freya ) -
Chapter 57
Chapter 57 Bold Kid Shows Up
“Please, Mr. Lucian, don’t do this,” begged Sebastian. He didn’t want to end up disabled, he’d rather die.
“I’ll help you,” said Thanatos, his temper flaring. Seeing Sebastian’s hesitancy, he snatched a machete from one of his henchmen and with a furious shout, hacked off Sebastian’s legs and arms. Blood sprayed everywhere, and the acrid scent of blood filled the air.
“Ah!!!”
Sebastian let out a gut-wrenching scream as he collapsed to the ground, barely clinging to life.
The onlookers were thrown into chaos at the sight. This kind of brutality was far too gruesome for ordinary people to handle. Even Freya was shocked and quickly covered Minnie’s eyes, not wanting the young girl to witness such horror.
“And this car, smash it for me,” ordered Lucian, feeling disgusted at the sight of the Porsche.
Sebastian had mistreated her daughter for just a small bump, so this was the least he could do.
“Smash it!” bellowed Prince Ezekiel, and in an instant, over two hundred of his
henchmen rushed forward.
With a loud crash, the brand-new Porsche was reduced to scrap metal in an instant.
Sebastian, barely clinging to life, watched in agony as the car he had just purchased was smashed to pieces. Not only that, but he was now also disabled, having lost everything in a single moment of foolishness.
Why did he have to cross Lucian?
Regret flooded through him, tears streaming down his face, but there was no cure for regret in this world. He was doomed to a life of disability.
“Take him to the hospital,” ordered Lucian, and Prince Ezekiel and the Grim Reapers quickly withdrew with their men.

They came fast and left just as quickly.
The onlookers were stunned by the scene, even the old man who advised Lucian to leave earlier stood in shock, his face strange with amazement. Perhaps, this is what it means to be a big shot – just one phone call and so many people show up.
“Young man, well done. This local tyrant deserved to be dealt with long ago.”
“Absolutely, this local tyrant has committed too many crimes, bullying men and
women.”
Many people praised Lucian.
Lucian just smiled faintly and left with Freya and Minnie.
Freya was not too surprised by the arrival of Prince Ezekiel and the Grim Reapers. She had heard of Lucian’s relationship with Prince Ezekiel, and she had also witnessed the incident with the Grim Reapers. However, Freya felt that Lucian’s actions were too high-profile and would eventually attract the attention of even bigger figures.
Although Prince Ezekiel and the Grim Reapers are well-known figures in Sioux, there are always people out there who are even more powerful than them. That’s why Freya suggested, “Lucian, even though you have Prince Ezekiel and the Grim Reapers, we still need to keep a low profile in the future.”
“Yeah, yeah, honey, I hear you,” Lucian chuckled and replied.
Freya blushed at Lucian’s words and retorted, “Who’s your honey? Don’t call me that.”
“Mama, how did you get better?” Minnie asked, her mind full of her mother’s
recovery.
“Lucian found someone to cure me,” Freya answered.
Minnie turned to look at Lucian, and her previously cold gaze softened a bit as she asked, “Lucian, thank you for curing my mom. How much did it cost? I’ll replace a way to pay you back.”
“Minnie, we’re family. There’s no need to bring up money,” Lucian replied.
But Minnie insisted, “I don’t want to owe you anything.”
Lucian had disappeared for seven years, leaving her and her mother to suffer. This left a deep emotional scar on Minnie, making it hard for her to forgive Lucian. In her he was an irresponsible father who never showed up when she needed him. How could she just forgive him?
eyes,
Lucian also knew the gravity of his actions and how much hurt he had caused Minnie. He had never been there for her when she needed him, and he could not expect her to forgive him easily. It would take time to heal the wounds and earn her trust again.
He knew he couldn’t rush it.
Freya glanced at Lucian and then back at Minnie. She had already sensed Lucian’s sincerity and wanted to say something good for him at this moment, but she knew that Minnie had suffered too much in these years.
Each hardship added to Minnie’s resentment.
Some resentments and things could only be forgotten over time. She believed that blood was thicker than water and that one day Minnie would forgive Lucian. This was also a good opportunity for Lucian and Minnie to rebuild their relationship.
Back home, the family sat together to eat, chatting and laughing loudly. They had wanted to invite Austin to join them, but he declined, not wanting to disturb the family gathering. Lucian didn’t force him.
During the meal, Annie suddenly remembered something and looked at Lucian. “How is your mother doing now?”
“She’s doing well, working at a restaurant,” Lucian replied.
Annie chimed in, “Fay, why don’t you go with Lucian to see his mother one day? Lilian has been sending money to our family for years now, and she’s all alone. Whenever she earns some money, she secretly transfers it to my bank account. Take Minnie with you too, I have a feeling she really misses Minnie. After all, she is her own granddaughter.”
“Sure, I’ll go,” Freya replied immediately.
Everyone then turned to Minnie, knowing she harbored resentment toward Lucian and possibly even toward Lilian.
“I miss Grandma too,” Minnie said calmly, surprising everyone with her lack of resentment towards Lilian.
Lucian was overjoyed to hear this, knowing that if she took Freya and Minnie to see Lilian, it would bring her immense happiness.
In the dead of night, Lucian lay in his room and dialed Liam’s number.
“Liam, how’s the Finnegan family doing? Have they sold off any of their assets?” he asked.
“Mr. War Go d, the Finnegan family hasn’t shown any intention of selling off their assets. They’re still living their lives as usual, as if they didn’t hear your words. Do you want me to go over there?” Liam replied.

“No need. I still have a day left. I’ll go there in person,” Lucian said before hanging up.

The next day at noon, Freya, Annie, and Frank went to the construction site. Due to the excessive walking, she did the previous day, Freya’s recovery wasn’t going too well. At Austin’s strong recommendation, she reluctantly got back in the wheelchair. She would have to rest and recover for a day or two before walking again.
Meanwhile, Lucian had arrived at the Finnegan family’s residence.
As soon as he entered, he saw Wallace and asked in a cold tone, “How’s the selling off of your assets going?”
Wallace was scared out of his wits by Lucian’s presence. He yelled out and ran away as soon as he saw him, shouting in the courtyard of the Finnegan family, “Dad, Dad, Lucian’s here. Come out quick!”
At that moment, Shane was receiving the Gray family’s guest, Marcus, in the living room. The Finnegan family had completely surrendered to the Gray family, and they finally found the opportunity to invite Marcus as a guest. They didn’t expect Lucian to come and stir things up.
“Da mn it, he actually came!” Shane clenched his fists and said angrily.

Hearing that Lucian had come, Marcus sneered and said, “Mr. Finnegan, calm down. My father has already asked the Grim Reapers to deal with this kid. He came at the right time. I’ll call the Grim Reapers right away and have them take care of this little brat on the spot!”
