A Journey of Reiki
After The Fact Author's Note.

Hey again.

I bet you’re thinking... “That’s it?” or “What about his father?” or maybe even “That was an incredible waste of time, because the plot was poorly explained, and the book had little meaning.”

Which, are all fair, and in some cases -- correct.

That is it, technically. While six years ago I had planned for a sequel, it obviously never came to be. But who knows, my time left here is hopefully long-winded, so I may write it eventually, though I’m not entirely sure.

But to satisfy some--but likely not most--here are a few small facts to help with some closure.

-Sybis does replace his dad, who was a war hero for Magalia. He died many years before Sybis ever arrived on the Reefshark all those many chapters ago. By the time he replaces him, he is a fully-grown adult, and married to Eliseia as well, with a child on the way.

-He makes peace with the Anhan sisters, and furthers his studies, even to a point of becoming stronger than them, though that’s just to be expected.

-He goes on to follow in his father’s footsteps, and eventually returns to where he and Jill last played together, giving her a fair parting, and making her a proper grave. He reunites with his family as well, and his cat--Pawdrey.

-Later in life, he focuses his newfound powers within the dungeon on making a cure for Eliseia's Phantom Spine, and succeeds, allowing her to take her first physical steps... ever.

I know it isn't much, but it's all I can truly remember for what was originally planned to be the sequel. I'm sorry if that's not all you hoped for, but I do pray it brought a few some small joy, knowing he did in fact succeed in his very hefty task--and much more after as well.

I hope we see each other again, you and I. I have so many plans, and I have written many things since this loving story, and even a few before it as well--though between you and me, I recommend the newer stuff--so there's plenty of opportunity for us to speak again.

Thank you for reading, I hope wherever your life takes you, it is mystical, wonderous, and fun.
