Chapter 235

In the end, Sage's father found her and carried her away from the college students.

She went home and described her experience with her mother, “Mommy, the elder brothers andsister were silly. They can't even solve a simple math problem, what are they doing with theirbrains?”

Lady Primrose patted her nose and said, “Not every little kid is as lucky as you, Sage. You inheritedmy perfectly excellent genes, and I gave you your intelligence. Don't go around calling people silly, now!” Sage looked out the window as she was reminded of her childhood. She missed it. There wereseveral graduating kids having their photos taken. They were all dressed in their graduation capsand gowns. The sun was shining brightly and their faces were bright red like tomatoes, but theywere overjoyed. Everyone could feel the youthful breeze in here. “Sage, Hunter! You guys are finallyhere!” Leah had her graduation gown as she ran toward Sage like a free bird. She smiled from ear toear.

Sage smiled as she patted away the sweat on Leah's nose. She threw a chain of keys to her, andpointed at the white BNW, saying, “Your graduation gift." Leah was dumbstruck, “For me?” Hunterlaughed and said, “Who else? I picked it up from the dealer last night. Do you like it?"

How could she not like it? “This gift is too expensive...” Leah felt the weight on her hands, “I can'tdrive yet.” “You'll learn. Hunter will send you to driving school and you'll be driving in no time,” Sagesaid, Hunter, smiled and said, “I've already put your name down.”

Everything had been arranged. Leah accepted it gratefully. Her friends touched her car with eyes ofenvy, “Wow, Leah, your sister's so wealthy and generous, She's even as beautiful as a goddess!” Leahnever felt more proud.

They had to wait for more than half an hour before the ceremony started. Leah had to start queuingup at the hall. Hunter was instantly recognized by the Dean's assistant and was pulled away, Sagewas left alone at last.

She walked around the school as she was fascinated by it. Many stared at her as she walked around.“Is this our prom queen? Or is she a professor? Gosh, she's beautiful... Should we go get anautograph signed?”

Sage was unfazed and pretended she did not hear. She had a cold expression on, and people wereafraid to disrupt her.

She reached the gymnasium. The basketball court was filled with crowds, and the cheerleaders werecheering loudly. Suddenly, Sage heard “Jimmy, over here! Quickly, pass the ball!” Sage took a glanceand she saw a guy dunking the ball into the basket, and it made a clonk, sound.
