Chapter 260 Jim only recognized Sage when she approached him at arm's length. “Didn’t yourecognize me with my new hair?” Sage asked casually. She had no makeup on, and she let her hairdry naturally. The other women were all laughing at him. One of the designers in her thirties said, “Young man,Miss Sage is only twenty-five years old this year. She's still a young lady.” She came close to him andasked, “How old are you, young man? Aren't you under eighteen?” The women laughed again.

Jim felt embarrassed by their teasing. He looked up at Sage and said, “I'm already twenty yearsold!”

"Oh, gosh. No wonder your face is so soft...” The staff came over and tried to pinch his face, butSage stopped them in time.

"He's the chef tonight. Please have some respect for your chef.”

They finally stopped their antics. It was a huge taboo to disrespect the chef. What if they spat in thefood, or worse, put poison in it? Sage dragged Jim back to the kitchen. “Come, let me look at whatyou're preparing for us tonight.”

Jim looked at his wrist, and his face started to burn up. He got shy.

Sage was unaware of what went on, she let go of his hand once they were in the kitchen. She
