Sage finally woke up after a long time. She felt a bitter taste in her mouth. It was the aftertaste ofmedicine pills. Fuzzily, Sage thought she was back in Mostal. “She's awake! She's awake!” Sageheard screaming from the side and she opened her eyes to a bunch of people by her side, andJace's face was the largest. Laura, Kane, Ross, Luther, Yoel, Melody, and Henry were all present. Sagefrowned and asked with a hoarse voice, “Why are you all here?”

Jace looked worried and asked, “Sage, how are you feeling?” “Bitter.” Sage licked her lips and saidone word, “Water.” “Water, water! Quickly, get Sage some water!” Melody poured a cup and itpassed a few people and it finally landed in Jace's hands. Sage was held up and she took the cupfrom Jace and finished half of it. She looked up and there were more people. Freya and the entireYuriel family were there.

"Pfft — “Sage choked on the water and coughed a little. They all looked at Jace frowning, “You can'teven feed her water properly? Are you an idiot?” Grandpa Yuriel scolded Jace.

Grandma Yuriel was impatiently saying, “What are you waiting for? Wipe it off for her!” Freya Yurielpushed her wheelchair forward and said, “She choked on water. Quickly, pat her..." Jace put downthe cup immediately and gave Sage some kleenex and started patting her back, as he patted hertwice, almost everyone yelled at the same time, “Softer!”

He almost went deaf. Sweat rolled down from his forehead. Sage felt much better after a few sips ofwater. She looked at Ross disgruntled, “Did you force feed me medicine while I was unconscious?”“Yup.” Ross said unfazed, “I upped the dosage. It's for your own good.” Sage felt speechless. Kane,Luther, and Jace all looked at Ross and they were not pleased, “You shouldn't bully her, said Luther.”Yoel smiled and took a deep breath, and it reminded him not to make enemies with medicalpractitioners.

Everyone was relieved now that Sage was awake.

Quest chased everyone out of the ward as his patient needed more rest time. Grandpa andGrandma Yuriel made an appointment with Quest for a routine check and picked up a few bottles ofsupplements since they were already there.

Grandma Yuriel couldn't help but stare at the handsome young Quest.

It was still crowded in Sage’s ward. As the Yuriel family left the room, Kane and the brotherssurrounded Sage.
