Chapter 559 Wendy looked defeated. “Ma“'am, you're “the’ Missus Yuriel. You should act like one!”"Come on, Primrose complimented me! So what if I'm “the’ Missus Yuriel? I'll never be able toachieve what Primrose achieved in my lifetime.”

“Look at her sons and daughter, and look at mine! Look at the difference! I had already lost.” Wendysaid defeatedly, “Don't just think about yourself; think about your son too. You have to help him!”“Help him how? What else can I do if he doesn't step up his game?” said Freya.

Freya continued, “When it comes to relationships, you have to just let it go with the flow. Forcing itwill only make it worse. Even if Sage will never be my daughter-in-law, I'll still treat her like my owndaughter.”

"So you're really just going to be selfish and not help your son now, are you?” Wendy said infrustration.

Freya shook her head. “That's right. He has to learn to bear his own consequences. Now that I havea daughter, why should I care about that son of mine?”

*...Fine. What a great mother you are,” Wendy said sarcastically.

Sage had a group of bodyguards following her, no matter where she went.

When they were not in their usual black uniforms, they dressed casually. Being followed by a wholegroup of handsome men who were 180 centimeters and above was quite a scene. However, therewas another person who managed to top the whole group of them by gaining more attention.Upon leaving the hospital, Sage spotted a tall figure amongst the crowd. He was wearing red andwhite sportswear. His 200 centimeters figure stood out like a giraffe amongst everyone else.

He stood facing her sideway with his backpack hanging on one side of the shoulder as he lookeddown, scrolling away on his phone. The sun had set halfway through, and his shadow stretched onthe ground under the red gleam. Such a slender and handsome young man would stand out nomatter where he was, attracting a group of young girls and lighting their hearts up with fire. Someof them were sneaking pictures of him. The man noticed and raised his brows, gesturing for them tostop. The girls ran away feeling embarrassed. Sage smiled and tried to suppress her urge to laugh. She headed towards the young man and tapped on his shoulder. The man turned around andlooked at her. His cold gaze turned warm immediately. “Sage.” Jim did not seem surprised when shesaw Sage outside the hospital. “What a coincidence,” Sage said.

“Not really. I came here to look for you,” Jim said, his eyes sparkling.

Sage was stunned. “Hm?”

Jim chuckled and said, “I'm kidding. I came to Nadeem City for training. One of my teammatesinjured his leg, so I sent him here. Then I saw you in the corridor and decided to wait for yououtside.”

“You should've just said so. You joke around too much,” Sage said as she raised her hand up to snaplightly on Jim's forehead.

She pretended to be angry and lectured him, “You should be more respectful toward me.”

Jim smiled lightly and said, “Yes, Ma'am.”

"How's your teammate? All good?”

“Just a twisted ankle, no big deal.” “Alright,” Sage said as she observed Jim's face and frowned."You've lost some weight since I last saw you not long ago. Are you doing anything tonight? Let'shave dinner.” “I'm available.” Jim's clear and sparkly eyes glowed youthfully. “I just received my cashreward from the competition. Dinner's on me.”
