Yeva smiled bitterly. “I've warned you, but you refused to listen. Who can you blame but yourself?“Yes. It's all my fault! I was blind and trusted the wrong woman. Now, I finally understand that you'rethe only one who treats me the best.

Julian looked up at Yeva with a deeply regretful look.

“Yeva, I know I'm wrong. Please, forgive me once. I've divorced Queenie. We can go to the CivilAffairs Bureau to remarry right away. I will love you and pamper you. After you give birth to thebaby, we can live together as a family of three. How nice!”

Yeva's tears fell on Julian's face, and her heart ached beyond words.

Oh, how wonderful. She could not resist imagining the happy image of their future, but she couldnot forget how Julian abused her.

He humiliated her in front of Queenie, threw her into the cold and dirty attic, ignored her, and madeout with Queenie in front of her.

She had knelt on the ground and begged him, but he was so cruel and cold-hearted at that timeYeva took a step back. She looked at Julian with tears on her face and shook her head

“I can't trust you anymore. Please go. I don't want to see you again.

Julian did not expect her rejection. She used to be crazy about him. Women were so cold heartedwhen they changed their minds.

He suddenly changed and stood up from the ground. The deep regret and affections on his facewere gone and replaced by a hideous scowl.

“I've begged on my knees. How dare you refuse me? You used to say you loved me and begged meto take you and marry you!”

He pointed at himself. He was so angry that his eyes and the veins on his neck were bulging.’ Now,you're telling me to leave? Who do you think you are?!”

Julian flipped immediately. He was so furious that he slapped Yeva in the face.

Yeva was caught off guard. She did not expect him to attack him after begging for forgiveness. Shecould not dodge at all. The slap hit her so bard, making her fall to the ground. Her face was burningwith pain, and her eyes went black. As her vision blurred, she seemed to see a bodyguard rushingforward to hold Julian down.

Julian felt that one slap was not enough. He came up and kicked Yeva hard in the stomach.

“Ugh...” Yeva whimpered and fell hard. Her body slammed against the big iron gate of Rosa Garden.Her belly and back were in excruciating pain!

The car lights approached. A black Lolls-Loyce stopped up in front of Rosa Garden. Sage steppedout of the car and saw Yeva cowering by the door. Meanwhile, Julian was struggling from thebodyguard's restraint. Her eyes went cold. “You're beating a pregnant woman. Julian, you're such asc*mbag!”

Sage grabbed Julian from the bodyguard’s hand, swung her arms around, and slapped him fourtimes. Her slaps resounded loud at night.

“Sage...” Julian was dumbfounded. His ears were ringing, and he could not stop begging. “How dareyou call me by my name? Are you worthy?” Sage could no longer hold back her pent-up anger fromthe day. She vented all her anger on Julian.

She picked him up with one hand and kicked him hard, throwing him to the big iron gate! When herolled over, she kicked him again! When he rolled over again, she kicked him again! She kicked himalmost four times and might have broken four of his ribs. Julian rolled to Sages feet like a deadbody, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. Sage was about to kick him again when Yeva letout a weak whimper from behind, “Sage, S... save me... my child.”
