Kane angrily pushed Sage out of the room and closed the door. Sage could not help but laugh. Shedid not expect to see Kane like that one day. Sure enough, a hero's biggest challenge was a beauty.When she came downstairs, she saw Hunter and Leah already seated in the dining room. She was all alone and single. “Sage.” Leah saw Sagecome downstairs and greeted her with all smiles, “Good morning.” “Morning.” Hunter greeted Sagetoo, “How did you sleep? Did you get some rest?” Sage nodded. “Quite good.” Breakfast had justbegun when a loud thud came from upstairs. Everyone looked up. The room right upstairshappened to be Sage’s room. “What's going on?" Zamora heard the commotion and rushedupstairs. “Is it a burglar or a rat?”

Sage did not stop Zamora. Instead, she muttered inaudibly, “I told you not to rush it. It's not myfault if you don't listen to me.”

Zamora might be old, but she was quick on her feet. She ran upstairs, grabbed a large broom fromthe storeroom, and rushed into Sage’s room at lightning speed.

“Little rat, you can't hide-"

As the door opened, Zamora raised the broom and was ready to hit the rat. Instead, she saw Kanelying on the carpet with Laura on top of him

When the two heard the noises, they turned to the door in unison. Everyone was speechless.
