Chapter 639

"She once gave Cece a sapphire, Cece was of course overjoyed. However, unbeknownst to her, thesapphire was taken off of a dead body. Another time, Cece nearly fell down from a horse, later wewere told that the horseshoe was tampered with, and lo and behold Madam Meyer was one of thepeople that was there that day,” explained Tim. Sage's eyes went wide, she did not know thatsomething like this happened. “From a horse? Did Madam Meyer have something to do with it?”asked Sage. Tim took a hit from his cigarette and said, “I don’t know but Cece had a kid, and forsome reason, she had a miscarriage.” “Miscarriage? Are you saying that it has to do with MadamMeyer?” asked Sage. Tim took a hit from his cigar and said, “I don’t know. There was nothingconclusive from my investigation. However, after that incident, Cece knew to stay far away fromMadam Meyer.” “Cece should've never trusted her!” exclaimed Sage. Sage did not understand whyMadam Meyer would try and destroy her brothers’ family.

“Not long after Cece’s death, the owner of Meadow Castle also passed away unexpectedly. MadamMeyer was widowed. She found me and told me that my wife is dead, her husband is dead, and wecould finally be together. If I would marry her, Meadow Castle would be mine,” said Tim.

“Is he crazy?" asked Sage. Sage took a deep breath and continued, “You should've told her, thateven if all the women in the world were to go extinct, I would still choose not to marry you. Thatway she would finally understand that she doesn't stand a chance.” “That was what I said,” repliedTim. “And she still didn’t give up? Is she that desperate?” asked Sage. At the same time, on the otherside of the city, at a hotel, a woman and a man are hard at work, their clothes already torn to shreds, lying around the bed.

Sienna“s hands were bound to the bedpost and her mouth was studded with her clothes. Siennacould only stay that way until the man was finally done with her. After that, Sienna laid on top of theman and asked, “Are you staying over?” The man laughed and said, “Why? Aren't you satisfied?”Sienna blushed and said, “I'm going to be scared if you leave me here alone for the night.” Sienna'sfinger traced Peter's body as she tried to make him stay over. Peter laughed and held Sienna’smouth as he said, “Woman and their little tricks. Your sweet words only make your cruel actions thatscarier.” Peter pushed Sienna off of him and started putting on his clothes.

Sienna knew that Peter was unstable and she was not going to anger somebody who would helpher.

Sienna jumped down from the bed and helped Peter to get dressed.

"Your aunt, Luna would be transferred to another hospital in the next few days,” said Peter. “Really?Thank you, Peter,” said Sienna as she gave him a peck on his face.

After a moment of hesitation, Sienna asked, “What about... him?”

“I'm going to do what I can,” said Peter. Peter took Sienna by her waist and said, “He brought you tome. No matter what, I'd have to repay him.”
