Chapter 7
Ethan immediately stood in front of me.
The knife stabbed him in the shoulder.
He slapped Linda.
“You bitch! What do you want to do?”
Linda covered her face and was stunned. She was in despair.
Ethan, who always treated her as his only love, called her “bitch” and protected me from being stabbed by a knife. Linda knew Ethan well. He could never accept such deception and insult.
It was all over between them.
“Ethan, you idiot. I shouldn’t come back after I abandoned you.”
Linda suddenly started yelling. “So what? She will never forgive you. You will lose me, too. How pitiful you are!” She scared everyone around.
Bodyguards soon showed up, and someone called the police.
Looking at Ethan, whose wound was being treated, I said indifferently, “Let me know when she is convicted. I will appeal for my mom.
He looked calm, but I knew that he felt sad.
“Why did you want me to lose face in public and ruin Linda? Is this what you want? Do you have to be so ruthless?” “Have you thought about my feelings?”
His tone sounded calm, but there was anger that could not be suppressed any longer.
“You’re so funny.”
I looked at him calmly.
“You were absent on our wedding day. I wore my wedding dress to deliver medicine to you. Had you thought about my feelings?”
“Just now, in public, she falsely accused me and wanted to send me to prison. Had she thought about my feelings?” “Ethan, you are so funny and pathetic.
“Maybe I should just ignore everything. Then, you will live in not–so–refined lies so that you can comfort yourself.” Ethan looked at me blankly. He moved his lips but couldn’t say a word.
I shook my head and left.
