Alpha's One Night Bride
Alpha’s One Night Bride – Chapter 106:The End

Ronnie stood in the mirror, staring at her small figure as the white gown hugged her body perfectly. She wore a strapless wedding gown that had light pink flowers decaling the sides and wrapping around her waist. The dress flowed delicately around her legs and down to the ground, expanding its lacy fabrics around her feet.

She wore her hair down but pinned back with a white barrette that had small pink flowers entwined in it; her hair also had the same pink flowers looped around her curly locks.

Arina was in charge of doing her makeup and she did a perfect job; she made it seem like Ronnie wasn’t wearing any makeup at all, but it still highlighted her fair features, brightening them.

As she finished getting ready, Jonathan and some of their other friends were setting up the wedding venue at the Oaktree. Ronnie wanted to get married somewhere that was meaningful to everyone. She figured the Oaktree would be perfect, that way she knew Emlin would also be attending and a part of the wedding ceremony.

Ronnie would be lying if she said she wasn’t nervous. She never thought she would be getting married before she turned 18 but she knew Erick was her mate and that she loved him dearly. She was excited to get the chance to spend the rest of her life with him.

He’s been nothing but kind to her; he’s protective and caring and he loves her so much. It was foreign to her because she grew up in a house where love didn’t really exist. Like Arina, Ronnie also had a bad impression of what the word “mates” really meant. She saw the kind of abuse that Emlin endured while she was married to Rock and she saw who she thought was her mother, went through the same physical abuse.

Ronnie couldn’t help but wonder if Rock ever had an actual mate or if he was just faking it to get what he wanted.

“Are you ready?” Arina asked, standing at the doorway of the house Ronnie and Erick shared.

That was a loaded question; she wasn’t sure if she was ready for anything at that point. But she wanted to marry Erick more than anything. She wasn’t going to be any more ready.

“I think so,” she said.

Arina wore a beautiful salmon pink dress; the noodle straps wrapped around her neck, and it hugged her body perfectly. The top of her dress revealed her cleavage, and they look amazing, in Ronnie’s opinion. She wore her hair down as well and had pink flowers looped around her curls. Regardless of what Arina wore, she always looked beautiful. But at that moment, she was stunning.

“Ronnie, you look amazing,” she said to her; her eyes filled with so much love and admiration.

Ronnie blinked away her tears before they ruined her makeup.

“So do you,” Ronnie said as she joined Arina at the doorway.

Together they walked down to the center of the town where the streets were being filled up with a couple of different packs. They were gathering around to celebrate Erick and Ronnie’s big day. She was beyond grateful to have everybody there for her.

They set up the aisle down the center of the town, leading up to the oak tree with Erick standing with Jonathan by his side and a couple of other friends he’s made since becoming the Alpha of Ironclaw. Arina went to join Jessica and Jess at the end of the aisle. Spencer stood nearby Ronnie, he was ready to walk her down the aisle.

She beamed up at her brother, excited to have him be a part of her big day. He also looked excited as well. She looped an arm around his arm and together they made their way down the aisle. The aisle was filled with pink and white roses.

The autumn breeze tickled Ronnie’s features as she continued walking down the aisle; the sky was turning a hazy orange color as the sun began setting and the moon began to rise to the top. Emlin was rising. She could feel the strength and love from Emlin beaming down onto her.

As she reached Erick, Spencer gave her a side hug and went to Join Jonathan. Ronnie’s heart was pounding heavily against her chest as she stared up at the man, she loved more than anything in this world.

She couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her life with him.

They waited until the sun was completely down and they were lit up by the moonlight before they started their vows. Erick read his first; he had it memorized and was staring Ronnie in the eyes as he spoke. He was practically speaking to her soul, and she could feel her wolf doing flips within her.

She read her vows next; she was trying so hard to keep her voice steady and not break down in sobs. She didn’t want to ruin her makeup or the aura of the wedding by crying. She was so overwhelmed with emotions, that she could hardly contain herself. As she spoke her voice kept trailing off as the urge to cry only grew more intense.

She cleared her throat a couple of times before continuing. After she finished, she straightened her back to adjust herself. Erick’s eyes were misty and leaned down to gently brush his lips against hers.

She was over the moon in love with him.

Erick formed his wolf claw and sliced through the back of Ronnie’s shoulder blade; they sprinkled a dusting on her open wound to keep it from bleeding too much and ruining her wedding gown. It healed it quickly but also kept it from healing too much as to where the scarring won’t last. In the place of the wound was a light pink scar that indicated she was now Erick’s.

She was his luna and he was her Alpha.

He leaned down and kissed her gently; she wrapped her arms around him and pulled herself closer to him. She wanted to keep him there for as long as she could. Arina cleared her throat to keep herself from chuckling.

Ronnie remembered at Arina’s wedding, Rock, Melissa, and she crashed it. They were kicked out of the wedding and sent home. Ronnie remembered being jealous over the fact that Arina already found her mate at such a young age and that she was already getting married and starting her life as a luna.

Now it was Ronnie’s turn.

She felt silly for being jealous in the first place.

The ceremony expanded out to the rest of the town where they held the celebration. They had everything set up for the wedding; dozens of tables for the guests, food from the best local merchants, and a giant cake from the bakery. There was a band playing music in the center of the streets; the wolves didn’t waste any time. They were eating, dancing, and laughing with one another.

Ronnie envisioned her wedding to not just be a celebration of her and Erick, but a celebration for everybody. She wanted this to be a celebration of a new age. She finally had the family she wanted; it was true she didn’t have a mother or a father, she didn’t even know who her real parents were. But she had a brother she wouldn’t trade for anything. She also had a sister, regardless of everything, Arina will always be her sister. B***d or not.

She now had a husband, a pack to call home and so many friends that fill her heart with love every day.

Everything was finally coming together, and she couldn’t be happier.

“I don’t want to ruin your big day, but I have to tell you something,” Arina said as Jessica and Spencer joined the table that they were all sitting at.

“Actually, I kind of have to tell you something too,” Jessica said.

“You couldn’t ruin my day,” Ronnie assured them both. “Everything is absolutely perfect.”

“I just don’t want to outshine you,” Arina chuckled, giving him a small nudge.

Ronnie laughed and shook her head.

“This isn’t just a celebration for me. It’s a celebration for all of us!” Ronnie told them.

Jessica and Arina looked at one another; trying to figure out who should go first. Eventually, they both looked over at Ronnie and spoke at the same time.

“I’m pregnant,” they said in unison.

Ronnie’s mouth dropped as she stared at her friends in disbelief.

Telling from both Arina and Jessica’s faces as they looked at one another, neither of them knew one other’s news as well.

“What?” They both said at the same time, staring at each other with wide eyes and raised eyebrows.

Jessica laughed nervously.

“Yeah,” she said softly. “We found out the other morning,” she said, glancing over her shoulder at Spencer.

Spencer had a sheepish expression on his face, but he had a smile as he wrapped an arm around Jessica and pulled her close to him.

“Jessica, that’s amazing!” Arina said breathlessly as she threw her arms around her best friend and gave her a tight hug.

“Is it though? I mean, I’m only 17. You almost died during your pregnancy. What if I don’t get as lucky as you? What if I die?” She went on and on.

“Jessica, breathe,” Arina chuckled. “You aren’t alone in this. You have all of us here with you. There’s nothing we can’t overcome. We’ve proven that already. We are going to get you through this together.”

Jessica exhaled; she looked relieved to hear that.

Ronnie was pleased by the news and was excited to expand the growth of their circle.

Then, Jessica gasped as she stared at Arina.

“You’re having another baby?” She asked, her eyes wide.

Arina smiled and looked at Jonathan.

“Looks like it,” Arina said.

“Oh my goddess, you guys,” Ronnie cooed as she threw her arms around Arina. “I’m so happy for you all.”

They all hugged one another, and Ronnie finally allowed herself to cry.

There was nothing that could be more perfect.
