I matched inside my tent angrily. Anger reached its peak as I inhaled sharply. How could thishappen? How come I never knew that Savannah got another mate? So soon? How come she got hersecond chance just after the rejection? I can't hold back my temper and slapped the table with myfist making it shattered.

"Don't lose your calm son, we need to think about this matter thoroughly before taking any action.And remember that your anger won't be able to win her heart. I felt it was strange. Hardwick left in a hurry after the phone call. Who was that? What made him sorestless to be in such a hurry? I frowned but couldn't replace any answers to my own questions.

"Why are you interested in her mate?" Devak asked again.

Tanea swiftly turned her head to look at him "what this has to do with you?"

It is the smell of my favourite Pasta Bolognese. But who brought it here? I can smell it from after.Just as I was thinking Hardwick walked with a beg in his hand.

"Where were you?" I asked him as he sat down beside me. Shiny on the other side lowered her headfocusing on her plate.

"To bring this" He gestured to the packet in his hand.

"What's there?" I frowned.

Hardwick did not reply but undid the package before pulling out a plastic container which waslocked. My eyes glued on it as I can feel the aroma. Is this what I am thinking? Can it be? Hardwickopened the lid slowly and my eyes widened.

It is really Pasta Bolognese. My mouth watered instantly and my hands itched to grab the fork anddig in. After coming here I didn't have a good meal because of the food taste but suddenly seeingmy favourite food on the table my stomach gave a low growl.

"Looks like someone is hungry huh" I heard Hardwick's tease but right now I don't care about it yetmy all focus on the plastic container which was glistening with my favourite food.

"You this ...." I turned to look at him.

"You didn't liked the foods so I ordered it for you"

"How did you know it's my favourite?"

"Luna told me," he shrugged.

Mom, she told him everything yet I didn't know a single thing about him.

"You did this for me?" My heart flattered

He smiled "you are precious to me"

And that was enough for me to jump in his arms. He brought my favourite food because I didn't likethe taste. He even cares for such small details how could I stay still without any reaction. And for thefirst time I felt my second chance was the best thing that could ever happen to me.
