Savannah's POV

I look around only to see darkness. Where am I? In the middle of silence I can only hear hissingsounds. I craned my neck to see the source but the darkness consumed my sight and apart from thesound I couldn't hear anything.

"Mom...dad....Devak..." I shouted their name but the silence was the only thing that hit me back.Where are they? Was not I with them in the party then how come I ended up in this darkness.Where exactly am 1? I forced my body to move but it seems like a barrier that is forcing me down.What kind of force is this? So strong that I never sensed before.

My mind became a mess and I felt a headache forming on my forehead. Where am I? I questionedmyself. But this darkness is not letting me see anything. Even if my eyes are wide open, all I see isblack. It feels like I have fallen in the hell of darkness and there's no way for me to get up. I need toreplace them, I need to replace my family.

"Mom..." I shouted again. I never want to lose them. I have suffered almost all my grown up yearsbut now just thinking of parting made me shivers. "Dad....where are you? Devak, Tanea can you hearme? Where are you all? Please help me"

My voice suddenly choked as it faded through the darkness. The hissing sound increased but I don'tknow what it is. If I was able to replace some source of light I would replace a way to get out of this place.Yes, light, that's what I needed.

I need light. My head started to warm up and then the warmness spread over my whole body.What's happening? It felt like I was glowing... Then... suddenly the flap sound rings in my ear. A rayof light fell before me then it started to spread widely at lightning speed. My eyes focused on thelight then my eyes roamed above. My heart stopped beating and a shiver ran down my back. Isthat....

The large red orange wings spread widely in the air as it's majestic body shone with light. I reallycan't believe my eyes. Is it real? I was about to get up when its wings flapped and the light aroundits body blinded my eyes.

"Savannah"

"Savannah wake up sweetheart"

I opened my eyes and in blurry vision I saw my mother's familiar face looking at me.

"Mom" I called out anxiously.

"I am here sweetheart" she caressed my head.

"Are you fine?" I nodded my head. I can feel sweat on my forehead. So all of it was a dream? Butthat bird looks so real.

"Where am 1?" I asked.

"In your room. We were so worried when we couldn't replace you inside the party room. When wefound you in the end you were sleeping outside in the garden area"

I frowned "when you are back? I mean is the party finished?"

Mom chucked "party? Dear it already two days passed of that matter”

What? Two days passed? That means.... I looked at her with wide eyes. She chuckled again andabout to say when the room door opened and Tanea's figure showed up.

"Hey, you woke up” she flashed a warming smile. She was holding a food tray and placed it on myside table "it's good that you finally decided to wake up or that overreacting brother of yours wouldhave beat the pack doctors for sure” saying this she laughed.

I couldn't help but smile. Devak was always serious and possessive about me and Tanea. I rolled myeyes. When he is able to change his over possessive acts?

"That man!" Mom sighed "let him be. It's looks like he couldn't digest his meal if he don't beatanyone per day"

We all laughed again. Even in small matters Devak always caused huge fuss. No matter how we tryto console he wouldn't listen until he is satisfied with his inquiry.

"Look, I brought breakfast here. Sav, you have been sleeping for two days and now that you havewoken up, are you not hungry?"

I nodded. I don't even know when I ate last time. 2 days ago? I shook my head. Now that Tanea hasbrought up the topic of food I can't control myself as my stomach grumbled suddenly. Tanea andmom laughed while I rolled my eyes.

"Come on, I made chicken soup and mushroom pasta. And I have pancakes too. Let's enjoy thisthen " Tanea served the food on a plate then handed it to us before grabbing for her own. Just as Ilooked at the food my mouth watered and I immediately digged in.

The soup tasted so good that I moaned delightfully. Tanea is a great cook and Devak always eatswhatever she makes. He even praised her to death and I couldn't deny that. Just eating this makesme feel like heaven.

Avan's POV

"This is such an unexpected turn. Have you investigated this clearly?" Dad asked me.

"I tried but the territory of Snow Moon Pack is hard to invade. They reside in the middle of forestand the forest is also itself a maze one. Those who don't know the correct direction couldn't passthrough the jungle.”

Dad shook his head "this won't do. I never expected that the naive looking girl would be related toSnow Moon Pack. Have you examined her properly?”

I nodded again "I have seen her dad and she is not that naive one in the past. She has changed alot. Her personality and even her strength. Can you believe she slapped Tina so hard that Tina's faceis still swollen. The doctor said she need 2 months time to full healed"

Dad gave a serious look "the Snow Moon Pack is the second best in the whole werewolf world. Doyou think it's easy to maintain such a position year after year? Besides, the members of the packsare stronger than ours. Their one member can take down our three strong people. They are blessedone as they got the legendary sign"

I frowned "legendary sign? What does that mean dad?"

"Have you not observed it? The Alpha bloods are all purple eyed?"

Then it hit me, yes. I saw the Alpha and the young alpha had dark purple eyes. Even Shyla has thesame purple eyes.

I looked at dad "that means Shyla is not involved with them but she is the real daughter of Alpha?"Dad nodded. The princess of Snow Moon Pack. She was my mate before our bond broke. I closedmy eyes and shook my head. I should not have waited to give the mate position. I should not havecheated on her. If that incident never happened then Shyla would still be living here with me. "You have been fortunate enough but now everything is lost. Even the Priest Trivan indicated to her"dad sighed.

"Dad, this won't do. Can't we just try to mend the ties?"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

I need to release myself. I left my dad's study room and walked towards my room. Justas I was about to open the door I heard Reese's voice.

I smiled. Before she could say I grabbed her and pushed her in my room. Closing the door I kissedher hard and shredded her clothes. Then without any warning I pushed myself inside of her. I closedmy eyes feeling the warmth. Fuck, Shyla's face flashed in my mind. Soon I will have you in my bedShyla. Like now, I can't wait to feel myself inside you. Very soon.

Savannah's POV

After the good meal mom and Tanea accompanied me. Suddenly a thought crossed my mind. Ilooked at mom and asked her "mom why I suddenly fell unconscious? It first happened when Ishifted but it happened again

Mom smiled "have you forgot what I told you about your birthmark?"

I nodded.

"You have finally acquired your powers my love"

My eyes widened. It somehow excited me to death. I have got my birth mark? I do remember whenmom told me about it. But it was too long so I almost forgot the date. But what kind of mark have Igotten?

My eyes fell on mom again " what kind of mark do I have?”

Mom smiled before she caressed my cheek "you are so blessed honey. So rare..." Her eyes arewatery. Oh she is becoming emotional.

"Mom ."

"I am fine" she chuckled "I am just too happy for you sweetheart” she shook her head.

I smiled looking at her.

"You and Devak are kind of similar when it comes to birth marks. He has eagle and you my dear yougot Huma"

Huma? What is that?

"Huma?" I frowned.

"Sav, you don't know about it?" Tanea looked surprised.

I shook my head. I have no idea about Huma.

"Huma is a bird similar to the Phoenix. They are like fire" Tanea explained.

"Really?" My eyes widened.

Mom patted my hand "it's said that though one one has seen this kind of rare bird and is onlymentioned in legend. But it also said that having this bird means fortune"

I still couldn't believe my ears. Huma really? Just hearing it made me feel so excited. Then...Something flashed in my mind. That dream... I saw a huge bird flapping its wings and shining sobrightly. Is that Huma? It showed up in the dream? If it was real then I have seen it with my owneyes. That was so beautiful beyond words. Finally after waiting for so long I have finally acquired mystrength and power.
