Savannah's POV

Finally it is a big day today. I woke up early in the morning with excitement. Today the crowningceremony will be a big day for me. Because of this pregnancy my body is a little weak but I am stilljovial from inside. My body is dancing with excitement.

After bathing Luina brought me a pair of lingerie sets which matched the dress I am going to wear. Idon't know how she chose it but whatever it is I am glad that she did. I wore lingerie then Wore mysilk robe.

After a few knocks the door pushed open revealing Jenny and Sadie. After my pregnancy wasconfirmed these two didn't leave me alone. Jenny was holding my breakfast while Sadie was withher medical box.

"Do you need to carry that all the time?" I pointed to the box.

"I am a doctor. Who knows when it's going to be needed so I prepared in advance. I can't run backand forth to grab this" she smirked.

"Smart one" I shrugged

"Your breakfast is here Mistress" Jenny put the tray on the table. "Today I brought something new.Since there is a ceremony tonight you need to eat little early”

"I am not hungry though,” I replied.

"You can try a little , you know. Even if you are not hungry, have something even if it's little inamount” she persuaded

"Okay" I glanced at the tray again. The food looks delicious. And suddenly I want to eat all of themGod this pregnancy made me do things that I never did.

"It's delicious” I moaned when I ate the food.

Sadie sat on the couch looking at me with a smirk "I think I heard someone said she is not hungry atall"

"Are you mocking me?" I raised my eyebrows at her.

"I don't dare,” she replied immediately.

Jenny chuckled at the side "I am glad you like it. Do you like pudding?”

"It's super-duper delicious. It's a new recipe?"

She nodded "I checked it last night. It has all good ingredients to nourish your body so I tried ittoday"

I nodded "you really know how to increase others’ appetite. Do you have more?"

Her eyes widened "you want more pudding?"

I grinned sheepishly at her. She let out a laugh then shook her head before leaving the room.

"I saw Alpha outside. He was arranging things for the ceremony. When he saw us going in hepersonally instructed us to take good care of you" Sadie said.

I popped the pancake in my mouth and looked at her "he is worried about the baby"

"Of course he does" she nodded "I have never seen him this happy. Sometimes I replace it like amiracle you know. The man who never knew how to smile is now grinning ear to ear and it's allbecause of you. This is the first time Dark Forest is holding a ceremony after so many years"

"What do you mean? There's no celebration in these past years?" I was shocked.

She shook her head "no, you must be feeling confused but Alpha is not someone who likescelebration. Even when the pack achieves something good there's only few wine toasting then it'sall done”

"When was the last ceremony?" I asked her. There are so many things that I don't know. But I amcurious about it. Hardwick doesn't tell me because he thinks it will ruin my mood.

"The last ceremony was the funeral of the late Alpha-Luna. On the same day brother Hardwickdeclared himself as the Alpha of Dark Forest"

"Ok the same day?" I looked at her with wide eyes.

Sadie nodded "yes. The death was sudden. Alpha was not in good health at that time. So whensuddenly he died, unexpectedly Luna couldn't hold herself and breathed her last. She lost her lifeholding late Alpha's hand. It was like a couple sacrificing themselves with the love they had for eachother. It was a tragic moment and everyone thought what would happen to the pack since the heirwas young and inexperienced. But to everyone's surprise Alpha took the responsibility and handedthe pack matters better than late Alpha. That's why the elders in the East Side couldn't interfere inAlpha s work and ruling”

I nodded. Hardwick has suffered so many things at such a young age. Taking care of the whole packand also handling the pack matters are not simple matters. Even Devak makes mistakes under dad'sguidance. Where Hardwick didn't have his father to show him and teach him. He has learnteverything by himself and now he is standing firmly on the top where no one can compete withhim. Such a magnificent character, how can I not feel proud. "He is mature enough to understand everything and this kind of talent is really rare to replace," Ismiled.

"You are totally right Luna. If it were others in his place, then there would not be a Dark Forest in thewolf tribe at all" Sadie agreed.

Jenny returned holding a bowl. She placed it on the tray and smiled "have this, If you want more Iwill make again”

"Thanks Jenny" I smiled and grabbed the bowl. My mouth watered suddenly and I started to eat itwith a big bite.

"I never knew you were so craving for this" Jenny looked shocked.

I laughed "it's not me actually” I pointed to my belly “it's all because of this"

Sadie and Jenny laughed together. Once I am done I feel satisfied. I even asked Jenny to make itagain and she happily agreed. Soon the make-up artist arrived.

"The designer brought your shoes and jewelry. And I must says it's matching the dress and sofucking beautiful” Sadie opened the box which was sent few minutes ago. Her eyes were shining asshe looked inside the box.

"Of course it will be after all, the Master personally asked for it" Jenny replied as she pulled out thejewelry boxes. Earrings, necklace, bracelet and a pair of hair clips. All are so pretty that I fell in lovewith it"

"Ask Ryan to buy you a set. That man had more money and could afford fucking expensive things"Sadie smirked "you should make a good use of him"

Jenny rolled her eyes "who wants his things. Humph! he always goes around flirting then wastingmoney and gifting things to his girlfriends. I don't want to take anything from him, especiallyjewelries” Jenny replied.

"That's his habit” Sadie rolled her eyes. She pulled out something then handed me a tablet "here, Ialmost forgot to give you this. It will help you relax your body and give you strength to go throughthe ceremony”

"Really?"

She nodded “and there is another one. It makes your body strong and will keep your spirit in highspirits for 48 hours" she waved a yellow coloured tablet.

"Will it affect the baby?" I frowned.

"No it has no side effects but after 48 hours you will feel sleepy and tired because you have used allyour energy and will put you to deep slumber”

"How long?"

"May for 12 hours minimum," Sadie shrugged, "but why are you asking so much? You don't needthis”

"I know" I nodded "I was just curious”

The makeup artist did her job well. Once my makeup was done I put the dress on and wore thejewelry.

"Wow you look so beautiful. I guess Alpha will faint just looking at you" Sadie chuckled.

"Have you seen him getting faint?" Jenny rolled her eyes "he will mostly lose his sanity" then shelaughed. I blushed hearing them. The door opened again and suddenly I heard a familiar voice."Sav"

I turned around and saw Tanea grinning at me. My eyes widened and I smiled at her.

"You are here"

"Yes, we wanted to take part early so yeah here we are" she nodded and walked in.

"Savannah" mom followed her all smiling.

"Mom" I hugged her.

"You are looking so beautiful my dear" she patted my back.

"Thank you mom" I wiped the corner of my eyes. I still can't believe they are finally here.

"Where's the others?"

"They are outside talking with Hardwick," mom replied. I nodded.

Ryan's head popped in the room "it's time" he announced.

We nodded and walked out. When I reached outside I gasped. The whole pack was there all in glorywhile the decorations were so beautiful. Flowers, lights, candles, slow music everything looked soperfect. The ceremony was organised on the open field so the decorations were also wide.Hardwick walked to me and stretched his hand. I shyly put my hand on his and he led me to thecenter. Once we reached there he sneaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer."Everyone here already knows why this ceremony is organised. As you know I have found my mateafter years of searching and I think it's high time to give my mate what she deserves. So with thewitness of all of you I, Alpha Hardwick of Dark Forest Pack announced that She, Savannah Lang ismy mate and now the Luna of Dark Forest Pack" he held a wine glass and raised it high "for thehonour of welcoming my Luna, the Mistress of the Pack. I believe you all will give her the samerespect and love that you have given me all these years. I'm the name of Luna" he cheered.

The whole crowd raised their wine glass and cheered loudly. I looked at them and there's noinsincerity in their eyes. Finally I have become Luna. I smiled and looked around. From todayonwards I also shared the same responsibility as Hardwick. And this pack has become my family.Under slow going music Hardwick pulled me for a dance. Other couples also joined us and theatmosphere suddenly changed into a romantic one.

"Thank you" I whispered.

"For what?"

"For giving me everything before I could ask” I smiled.

He leaned and joined our forehead "whatever I have is all yours darling. You don't have to say thankyou and treat me like a stranger”

I chuckled "that's not what I mean Alpha”

"Really?" He smiled.

"Uh-huh. I have never treated you as strangers. You and I are one. So how can you become astranger?"

"That's right,” he chuckled, "are you tired?"

"Not much,” I smiled.

"Let's sit somewhere. It's not good for you to move frequently”

"Let others enjoy the dance” he pulled me out of the dancing area.

"Oh, I need to use washroom"

"Okay let's go”

"what are you doing?" I frowned.

"What you said you want to go to washroom”

"Yes but I can manage it alone. Everyone is here, how can we leave together?" I looked around."But tha-"

" will be fine. I will be back soon" I pushed him down to the chair then smiled before walkingtowards the pack house.

I walked into our room and directly went to the bathroom. After doing my business I fixed my makeup and sighed. Finally the crowning ceremony is done. I walked out of the bathroom happily butstopped at once when I saw 3 men were standing in the room. They were wearing masks and Icouldn't guess their identity. Every cell of my body suddenly felt alert. It's dangerous.

"Who are you all?" I asked

I frowned at them. What are they talking about? Another one came forward but before he couldreach I raised my leg and kicked him on his stomach. He groaned in pain and fell on the floor. Ipanted as I glared at them. I supported myself at the door. God because of my pregnancy I amlosing my energy. I couldn't keep myself alive if I kept fighting. Suddenly my eyes fell on the yellowtablet which was placed on the table near Sadie’s medical box. Suddenly an idea arose in my mind.Gritting my teeth I forced myself to walk towards it. Just as I reached the table I grabbed the tablet.But before I could turn I smelt something and my vision blurred. I couldn't even shout because thisroom is soundproof and no one will hear me. I tried to mind link Hardwick but because of thedizziness I couldn't focus completely.

"Don't hurt her or we will be dead" I heard them muttering. My body swayed and I fell backward.But before it could touch someone hold me. My mind went blank and the last night I remember wasmy mate.
