Logan's POV

What a day today has been.

It's been so tiring and hectic and it's only an hour or so past midday.

After the Carpenters left my office, I received a phone call from my lawyer who wanted to discuss this GiGi situation with me and he also wanted to verify Abigail's cooperation in it which I did.

He also informed me that he's sent cease and desists out to every single tabloid, talk show and radio show that featured GiGi and her lies which have now tarnished my wife's reputation, as well as sending one to GiGi and her management team.

My lawyer also informed me that he's threatened all of them with legal action on my behalf if they dare to slander either myself or Lacey again or if they bring up our children.

It's one thing to bring Lacey or me up because we're adults who can and will protect and defend ourselves as well as each other but you're crossing a damn line and a very dangerous one when you bring our minor babies into it.

"Miss Walters and I also think it would be in both yours and Mrs Black's best interest if you give a public statement and let the whole world know the truth about your relationship with your wife and also expose Miss Addams for her lies" My lawyer says before letting out a sigh.

I was warned many times about GiGi even long before I reunited with Lacey but me being the naive dumbass that I am, I believed she was a sweet girl who was just trying to make something of her life and it turns out she was but she was using my name and hard work to do it.

I was brought out of my thoughts by the noise from my intercom

"Yes, Sophie"

"Sir, Miss GiGi Addams is here to see you"

You've gotta be f*****g kidding me

"Tell her to get lost"

"Ok, sir"

I continued to talk with my lawyer hoping Sophie could get rid of GiGi or that the b***h would at least take the hint and leave but unfortunately, luck wasn't on my side today

"Hey, you can't go in there, I'm gonna call security"

I hear Sophie shout as my door bursts open and GiGi storms in looking like she's been crying but I knew better than to believe those things are real

"Logan baby, please listen to me, I need to talk to you, it's important"

"I'm sorry, sir, she wouldn't take the hint and leave"

Sophie said with a growl as she glared at GiGi who scowled back at her

"It's ok, Sophie, go back to your desk" "Are you sure, sir?" "Yes, you can go now"

Sophie nods her head and leaves my office but not before giving GiGi one last disgusted look

I know you're all probably thinking it's an awful idea for me to be left alone in my office with this witch but trust me it's ok because I've got state-of-the-art CCTV in every single corner of this building, well, except for the toilets for obvious reasons and GiGi knows this, so she'll be stupid if she tries anything

"Hey, can I call you back?"

"Of course, sir, I'll talk to you later"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I hang up the call and look up at GiGi who was acting like a wounded Puppy-

"What do you want, GIGI?"

"I want to talk to you, Logan"

"About what?"

"About us?"

Is she being serious?

"Us"

I say with a scoff

"There is no us, GIGI, there never has been and there never will be and us"

"You don't mean that, Logan"

GiGi says with a gasp and I glare at her.

I growl as I stand up from my chair before walking around my desk

"Lacey is my wife, Lacey is the love of my life and she has been for a very long time now, as for you, you've only ever been a friend and that's all" "What? but I thought you loved me?"

GiGi asks in the most pathetic voice ever.

"L only ever loved you as a friend but now I can't even stand to look at you after what you've done"

"Why? what have I done?"

She asks innocently

I thought to myself as I let out a sigh and rubbed my forehead

"This is because of that b***h, isn't it? that f*****g stupid w***e who threatened me and manipulated you into marrying her and being her kid's father"

GiGi growled pissing me off

I don't tolerate anyone, especially not / someone like you disrespecting or insulting my woman, secondly, Lacey's kids are MY kids, they're mine and Lacey's, maybe if you opened your eyes instead of your legs every once in a while and took a good, long hard look at them then you'd notice they look just like me"

I said and she gasped loudly.

"And thirdly, you're the one and only reason why I'm acting this way with you, GIGI, you were warned umpteen times by me, my wife and my father to back the f**k off and leave us alone but you didn't and now thanks to you, the whole of America thinks I'm some kind of a scumbag, they think my wife is a nasty homewrecking w***e and my children are bastards while you're the poor innocent little victim in all of this..."

"But I am a victim, Logan, I...

She interrupted me and tried to give me a sob story but I wasn't having it.

"No, you're not GiGi, you're anything but a victim...I told you numerous times that you and I are just friends but yet again you didn't listen and you went straight to my dad to arrange a marriage between us"

"That's because I love you and you love me, I know you do" "Love?".

I say with a scoff.

"Don't make me laugh, the only woman I love is Lacey Black"

"Urgh!!, what does she have that I don't have, huh?"

GiGi says while stomping her foot like a bratty child throwing a strop.

"Everything GiGi, Lacey has got everything that I need and wantin a woman which makes her my perfect woman who owns my whole heart, always has and always will, now get lost and leave my property with at least a little bit of your dignity and pride still intact before I call security and have them throw you out".

"But we're only talking"

I say as I pick up a file and look through it.

"My wife won't be happy if she replaces out you're here and you didn't listen to her warnings last night"

I say and she scoffs while rolling her eyes.

"I'm not worried about her, Logan"

"Well, you should be worried, GiGi, Lacey's a Carpenter by blood, a Black by marriage and her brother-in-law is a Tate who is willing to do anything and everything to get back in my Lacey's good books and earn her forgiveness, not to mention he's prepared to do anything including wiping you off the face of this earth to make her happy, so please do as I say and get out of my building right now and don't ever darken my doorstep again, I'm done with you" "No"

She growls at me.

"What did you just say?"

I snapped my head towards GiGi and glared at her but my eyes widened in shock and anger when I saw her standing there wearing nothing but her lingerie and heels and the long, black coat she was previously wearing was now pooled around her feet on the ground. "GIGI, what the f**k?"

"I came here to get my man and I'm not leaving until I've got you"

GiGi said as she stalked over to me like a lioness stalking her prey but just as she was a foot away from pouncing on me, my door burst open and my heart stopped beating for a split second when I saw who was standing there.
