One moon later

The faint rays of sunlight touch Sasha’s smooth face; in barely a week, the deep dark circles under her eyes have disappeared, the blue tint of her irises is alive and she can now smile with carefree ease. Since her classmate gave her permission to read in the library, her days have been adventurous. Most of the time she sits still, her eyes glazing over at the clusters of words that create a beautiful story. The only time she meets Occisor is at lunchtime, but they don’t exchange a word. For the first four days, she tried to hold a dialogue, but found she was talking to herself.

Talking to a door would be more productive than talking to the man next door.

Despite the shy, sparse rays of sunshine, the loose air in the young woman’s sigh dances with the wind. It is still quite early, when she woke up, Occisor was no longer inside the room, so she took the opportunity to stay and watch the sky and the forest. “How I miss feeling the wind on my muzzle” – he thinks in frustration as he leans his head against the window frame.

Then she makes up her mind, she won’t hold back any longer. Determined to kill her desire, and tired of being ignored, she removes the flowered dress from her body, leaving her completely naked. She climbs up to the window and observes the height, for a human being it is insane to jump from the first floor, but Sasha is not human. That was no big deal, taking a deep breath she feels all the cold air passing through her lungs making her smile with the feeling of freedom. Without thinking about anything else, she jumps. She somersaults, her right knee touches the ground and her left hand, the wind blows and her hair dances to the same rhythm. Sasha stands up and breathes again the fresh air coming from the forest, euphoria runs through her whole body, her smile is huge.

Finally…. After so long I’m going….

I never thought I would see a woman literally fall from the sky, and better yet, completely naked! – a male voice interrupts her and breaks the young woman’s smile on the spot.

Her whole body tenses up, regret is pounding in her mind, she shouldn’t have undressed in the room. He clenches his hands into fists to control the trembling in them.

By the way, he’s a very unruly angel, look how many scars – the officer reaches over and removes his hair, leaving his back fully exposed.

She doesn’t know what to do, she has never been involved in a fight or anything like that, she doesn’t know how to react, she doesn’t know how to defend herself. All she feels is fear in every fibre of her body. “What should I do?” – she asks herself with her eyes tightly closed and her mouth compressed in a straight line so as not to tremble in the face of her fear.

If she used her strength against the man, would she be punished? Would Occisor kill her for hurting one of his own? – These doubts made her fear even more.

You have beautiful buttocks, without any scars – she slaps him and immediately Sasha starts to cry. Shh, my little angel! Let’s go inside, it’s freezing out here.

“Occisor… – tries in his thoughts to reach his companion – Help…. Please…” – she asks in tears as the officer tries to drag her into the base regardless of her reluctance and tears.

Sasha’s voice reaches Occisor’s ears, who at that very moment stops pounding on the sandbag attached to the third floor ceiling in the training room. It is there that he has spent most of his time during this week in which he has had no mission to free him from being in the same environment as his destianda.

“Help me… Please… This man stinks of alcohol… He’s making me dirty…” – Occisor’s b***d boils as he hears the word man and imagines where this man’s hands are touching her body to make her feel dirty. But even he doesn’t understand why, it’s like it’s on automatic.

“Who dared to enter the first floor?” – she thinks angrily and starts to climb the stairs, she reaches the first floor and replaces no one. “I wonder if he’s in the library.” – he thinks and rushes back down another two flights of stairs. When he reaches the library door his body freezes and his eardrums go on alert.

Let me go! Please! Let me go! ….

Oh, how you scream! – the sound of a slap fills the whole place.

Without hiding the hatred in his gaze, Occisor turns around to replace the scene of Officer Marcos dragging his intended by the arms into the officers’ kitchen. His feet take on a life of their own and begin to move in his direction. His hand takes on a life of its own and closes into a fist striking the officer on the chin who staggers and falls to the floor. He brings his hand to his chin and massages it, if he saw where it came from, but when he noticed Occisor’s presence his whole body froze.

Mr. Occisor, why did you hit me? – he asks in a trembling voice. Just the smell of wine makes the young man’s stomach churn.

Touch him, just one more time – he crouches down and comes face to face with Officer Marcos – and I will hunt you down, torture you and leave you to be eaten by pigs while you are still alive, you worthless horse manure – he speaks very softly, but everyone can hear him.

The officer begins to cry, a drunkard who is afraid. None of the officers like Occisor, firstly because he is thick and everyone knows he doesn’t like humans. Secondly, because he is part of the lycanthrope race.

Sasha’s whole body trembles. Her eyes are still wet, but she is no longer crying. Her heart lightens as soon as she sees the menacing figure of Occisor striking the officer. The officer, Marcos, begins to crawl away. Occisor smiles and stands up as the human crawls away.

As if his brain has been shocked, he finally realises what he has done. And this causes him to clench both hands into fists bouncing his veins and turn with a deadly glare at Sasha, but as he catches a glimpse of her crying face he calms down.

Even if he doesn’t like it, he can’t stand male rapists. He is no gentleman, but he knows very well how to listen to no.

Taking deep breaths to control himself as much as possible, after a week, Sasha finally hears his partner’s voice.

Why are you naked, girl? – he speaks quietly between his teeth.

I… I wanted to run through the forest, and if I changed into my dress…. It would tear,” she replies with her head down.

And why didn’t you change?

He… He… Me….

You might as well have defended yourself. What do you think I am? A…

I don’t know… I was too scared… I’m sorry – the tears fall again and Occisor hates himself for a moment.

What don’t you know?

I don’t know how to fight… I don’t know how to hunt… I don’t know how to do anything but wipe dried b***d off the floor,” he begins to sob and she struggles to control herself, not wanting to irritate him further.

Occisor starts pacing back and forth and runs his fingers through his hair to control himself from bursting into a rage.

What kind of wolf are you, girl, and don’t tell me you’re a f*****g luna cimex because I’ve seen you transformed! – Despite her low voice, it’s possible to feel the intonation of anger in every word.

I’m… I am the shame of my father’s pack. I am a killer. The red stains on my back are the b***d of my brother who died because I was born – his knees weaken and he falls to the ground, all the bad things he experienced there running through his mind like a movie.

Occisor decides not to ask any more questions, now she understands why her parents called her “Bloodstain, b***d axe”. And even against his will, his heart is saddened to see her cry like this. Then he sighs and begins to undress, standing completely naked beside her.

Come,” he calls for her attention, and as soon as she manages to focus her eyes on him, her whole face burns with shame.

What did you…

Didn’t you want to run in the forest? Come on, before I change my mind.

Sasha hurries to get up, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity, there was no way she was going to waste it. Rising from the ground, the two begin to walk silently away from the base. Occisor is the first to transform. Sasha finally pays attention to the black wolf in front of her and, even without meaning to, is reminded of her father. The one who transformed is almost the same as Occisor, only a little bigger.

Occisor growls impatiently bringing Sasha back to reality and then transforms, the she-wolf is only two inches bigger than the eight-foot black wolf. And that intrigues him even more. “Who are her parents? Is she the daughter of some alpha? I’ve never seen or killed a female this big, they’re usually always smaller” – he thinks without taking his eyes off Sasha who starts running through the forest. She is faster than Occisor, something he does not accept and so they start a race between them in the dispute of who is the fastest.
