Poem 10 - Humankind

Never-ending darkness falls, a waterfall of tears fell,

Soul has been sold,

The person has been told; they’re full of mold; internally, they’re full of gold.

The humankind has been blind.

They wish they could give a piece of their mind,

Something that humankind will never replace.

A golden soul, a never-ending madness,

The endless sadness.

A waterfall of tears fell, does that ring a bell?

The person will sell their happiness, to the devil, to leave them alone.

Never-Ending darkness fell, they won’t come out of their shell.

They yell, “The humankind should go to hell!”

But the person already fell, to the deepest of hell.

Hell on Earth, endless abuse for the humankind’s amuse.

The person grabbed a noose, just so they could be loose.

Their life refuses their sadness excuses.

Neverending darkness fell, and light never returned.

The darkness only burned.
