Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 108
Scarlett turned the car into the side street and saw a car parked at her house. It seemed to be Raymond's car. Scarlett thought she was mistaken. When she drove closer, she realized she was right.
It was Raymond's car!
She remembered yesterday's kiss and the look on her face became sullen.
She drove the car to the gate. Then she took out the remote control and opened the gate. She had no intention of getting out of the car to meet Raymond.
But Raymond walked right up to her car and stood in the way.
If Scarlett wanted to drive into the yard, she would have to run over his body.
That would have been murder.
The man wasn't worth it to get herself into jail.
Scarlett stopped the car, lowered the window, and looked at Raymond. She raised an eyebrow, "Do you understand that your behavior is harassment to me?"
"I want to make sure something with you."
He looked down at her. The nonchalance in his eyes
was the same as always as if nothing had happened yesterday.
He had got balls!.
Scarlett curled her lips, "What is it?"
"Have we met before?"
Scarlett didn't expect him to ask such a question. She froze for a moment. Then she came to herself and chuckled, "I'm sorry if you think we had met before. I don't think I've ever met you before. As far as I can recall, it was the first time I saw you three years ago."
She knew what he was asking about, but she would never let him know that she had liked him all those years ago.
It was a shame.
And he wasn't worth it.
Raymond frowned slightly, "I mean in high school or junior high, over a decade ago."
"No." She looked at him. Her tone was certain.
"Then why did you say you loved me?"
The question really hit the nail on the head.
Scarlett was dumbfounded, yet she would not admit it, "So what? Does loving someone have anything to do with how long you've known the person?"
"We've met ten years ago, Scarlett." Raymond looked a t her with certainty.
For a moment, Scarlett wanted to ask, "So what if I had liked you years ago?" But that was just a moment o f impulse.
They had divorced. She had been hurt enough in the three years. She wouldn't give him any more chances to hurt her.
A gust of wind blew by, and Scarlett's hair was ruffled. She lifted a hand to tuck her hair behind her ear and narrowed her eyes slightly. The smile on her face was flippant. "Raymond, you're probably dreaming." Then she stepped on the gas and drove into the yard.
She looked in the rearview mirror and saw Raymond standing still watching her drive away.
Scarlett felt bad. Just after she entered the garage, the expression on her face turned gloomy. 'Alexis is right! Raymond is a jerk!'
