Just after walking out, Scarlett felt a current of cool air.

It was cold outside. The wind, which blew from the river, was wet and chilly.

Raymond's car was parked in front of the door, not far from the garden.

If Raymond hadn't put the coat on Scarlett, Scarlett must have shivered with cold. Now she just felt somewhat cool.

Raymond held her hand with his big warm hand. Thinking that she had laughed at Raymond and said that he made a fuss, Scarlett was embarrassed.

Frank had booked a table for them at a restaurant. Since Scarlett got pregnant, she became more sensitive and pickier about food. If the ingredients were not fresh or had special smells, Scarlett would feel sick.

Thus, these days, Raymond made light food for her or selected the restaurants that provided light food.

They finished dinner, walked with the crowd for a while to digest food, and went back home.

Life was much more peaceful than they had expected. Raymond and Scarlett had experienced many things before getting back together. They became more sensible about their relationship. Even the occasional small conflicts couldn't make them quarrel.

Raymond sometimes went to Tenton, but he spent most of his time with Scarlett.

Scarlett was always good at enjoying life. Even when Mornet was first established, she separated her private life from work.

Now that everything was stable and orderly, she was very relaxed.

Before pregnancy, Scarlett was busy. Now she had a lot of leisure, so she asked Katherine to busy some roses and had some people build a pavilion in a pavilion in the garden, intending to prune the roses and let them climb up the pavilion. After that, Scarlett asked Katherine to bring some grape vines to the pavilion.

The next year, after her child was born, the pavilion should be surrounded by roses and grapes if they were taken good care of.

Scarlett was planting roses and grape vines lately. Raymond didn't go to Tenton. He helped her make the shelves.

They worked slowly every day. Everything went well. They stayed in the villa, and no one dared to disturb them, as if they were living a reclusive life.

If Alexis hadn't called her, Scarlett wouldn't have known that she had been rumored to have an affair while she was planting at home.

Alexis was amused as she told Scarlett the rumors. Scarlett didn't take it seriously either.

Scarlett had been pregnant for more than two months and had been very happy. She didn't want to be affected by such trivial things.

However, Raymond happened to hear it when he came out of the villa to take the fertilizer to her. Scarlett's hands were dirty, so she had put Alexis on speakerphone and put the phone aside. Because Alexis' voice was clear, Raymond heard her speaking from afar.

He put the fertilizer aside. When Scarlett looked over, Raymond's brows were already furrowed.

Alexis didn't know what was going on. She was so excited that she said teasingly," Lettie, if Raymond knows it, will he be mad? I wonder who the gossiper is. How dare that stupid guy say you have an affair? Scarlett looked at Raymond, took off her gloves, hurriedly picked up her phone, and ended the call.

"I'll ask Frank to investigate."

Before Scarlett could say anything, Raymond had already taken out his phone and called Frank. Scarlett gave a wry smile. She had wanted to let those gossipers go but it seemed impossible.
