Raymond said, "Devin gave Caroline some money and a ticket to go to Fordberg. I'm reluctant to see her at home anymore." Scarlett understood Raymond's meaning. After Caroline left, he wouldn't give her any chance to come back.

Scarlett said, "Deal with it as you wish."

She wouldn't interfere in it. After all, it was not a big deal.

At the airport, Caroline dragged her suitcase and passed the security check. Her plane would take off in 2 hours.

Raymond had prosecuted her. Her case would come to trial within 1 week.

Although she couldn't solve it by going abroad, she didn't have any other better solutions.

She didn't know when she could come back after she left this time.

She stood at the entrance and regretted that she had provoked Scarlett.

However, what was done was done. It was useless for her to regret it. Even if she regretted it, Scarlett wouldn't give her any chance.

Caroline gritted her teeth and went to the luggage consignment counter.

After she checked in her suitcase, her phone rang.

The phone call was from Devin. Caroline had a clear mind now and had realized how over-confident she was when she wanted to marry Devin. She even couldn't deal with Devin, not to mention that she was not worthy of the Roach family.

Devin asked, "Are you in the airport?" His voice sounded deep on the phone.

Obviously, he had just woken up.

Caroline replied slightly, "Yes."

"I would like to tell you the bad news before you board the plane."

He said casually, "Last night, Raymond's men started to investigate me."

After Caroline heard that, she was shocked, and her face turned pallor.

She asked, "Mr. Roach, what should I do?"

Devin said, "What is done is done. You have to play it by ear."

He paused and added, "I will get out of your hair. It's time for you to board the plane."

Then he hung up.

Caroline stood there with the phone in her hand and fell into a trance.

Devin meant that Raymond had known that they did these things on purpose. If she went abroad, would Raymond allow her to come back?

Caroline knew that it was easy for Raymond to not allow a person abroad to go home.
