Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 1161
Harley looked down at her. "Is there anything wrong?"
"Nothing."
Cindy looked down at the pancake she was holding, and the bite where Harley had bitten was exactly where she had just taken a small bite.
Didn't that mean they kissed indirectly?
Cindy blushed when she thought about it. She suddenly felt that the pancake she was holding was very hot.
Seeing that she hadn't said anything for a long time, Harley suddenly asked, "Are you a neat freak?"
"No! I don't have one!"
When she heard his words, Cindy shook her head in a hurry. She was afraid that Harley would misunderstand her. Then, she thought about it and took a bite of the pancake.
Cindy couldn't tell what pancake tasted like this time because all she could think about was the image of her and Harley kissing affectionately.
Harley kissed her once last night. Because it was the first time she had been in a relationship since she grew up, Cindy was still a little uncomfortable with this kind of gesture. "Do you mind if I have a sip of milk?"
Harley looked at the cup of milk Cindy was holding in her left hand. Although Harley asked her at first, he had put his hand on hers.
Cindy felt some heat from the warmth of his large hand covering the back of her hand. Then, she subconsciously tried to pull her hand away. However, she still had a cup of milk in her hand. If she let go of her fingers, the cup of milk she was holding would spill.
She quickly tightened her grip on the cup.
"I don't mind."
Cindy didn't dare look at Harley and slowly withdrew her hand. Then, she took another bite of the pancake.
Harley quickly put the cup of milk back in front of her. "I'm going to drive."
"Okay."
Cindy took the cup of milk and took a glance at Harley.
Harley was already concentrating on the road ahead. Although they had been delayed for a short time, the traffic jam ahead improved.
It was 9:05 when Cindy and Harley arrived at the office parking lot, and as soon as Cindy got out of the car, she saw the head of the administration department.
She subconsciously tried to hide, but the door was closed, and she had no time to get back inside the car. Cindy then turned around and turned her back to Kenyon. Harley got out of the car, looked at Cindy, and walked up to her.
Kenyon wasn't surprised to see Harley and Cindy. After all, Cindy was Harley's secretary, and the two of them almost always went in and out of the office together. "Mr. Dane, Miss James, good morning."
Kenyon warmly came up and greeted Harley. At that moment, Cindy stiffened and turned to look at Harley with a guilty conscience. Seeing that Harley didn't seem to react, she just nodded lightly. "Mmm." Harley was the boss, so he could answer questions coldly, but she was just an employee.
Therefore, she would not give Kenyon, who was also an employee, a hard time.
Cindy put on a formal smile. "Good morning, Kenyon."
Kenyon waved enthusiastically at Cindy and asked if she'd had breakfast."... If you haven't eaten, I brought some extra food today! As a girl, you'd look better if you ate a little more!"
Cindy had a few encounters with Kenyon. And he was quite nice to her. "Mr. Mueller, thank you for your kindness."
At that moment, Harley moved his eyes. He looked at Kenyon with a cold face.
However, Kenyon did not pay attention to Harley's expression. He had always thought that Cindy was gentle and lovely and different from other arrogant and indifferent secretaries. Thus, when he met Cindy, he also liked to talk to her more.
As an administrative staff member, Kenyon liked to socialize with people. "Mr. Mueller."
