Flirting With My Ex-husband -
Chapter 1172
Harley gave a sideway glance only at her ear, and he just said "H'm" with a deep voice as the coldness in his eyes was replaced by softness. He had seen through her but didn't say anything. The two of them went out after picking up their luggage.
The moment they got out of the airport, they saw Sabrina and the other girls.
And the girls spotted Cindy at once. Blinking her eyes, Vicky, though dressed like a lady, shouted in a loud voice quite carelessly, "Gee, is there something wrong with my eyes or what? I think the man beside Cindy looks like Harley!"
Sabrina gasped, "I don't think you should blame your eyes. Cindy's boyfriend is definitely Harley unless our eyes play tricks on us!"
Pushing her glasses up, Sue exclaimed," Only Cindy could win this man's heart!"
Who could ever imagine that Harley, the coldest man in the world, would throw himself at Cindy's feet?
While the girls were still in shock, Cindy and Harley had walked up to them.
They were all in the same school back in university, and the girls remembered vividly that their economic teacher took a month off and it was Harley who took the classes instead.
Harley was famous for his aloofness back then, but girls had lined up across the whole campus wanting to be his girlfriend.
When Cindy told them that she liked Harley, they understood her rather soon, even though they were indeed a bit surprised at the news. They even encouraged Cindy to tell Harley how she felt about him at the time Harley graduated, but Cindy was too shy to ever say anything.
Now four years had passed and...what a surprising turn of events!
"Long time no see, Sabrina, Vicky, and Sue.'
Actually, Cindy was utterly embarrassed at the moment, being discovered that her boyfriend was someone so famous. She didn't even know what right words to choose to say hello.
Sabrina was the first to get over the shock and replied, "Long time no see, Cindy and Harley. How was your flight? You must be exhausted.
Calm as she might appear, Sabrina was in fact a bit flustered.
Harley had been rather strict when he was taking the classes and had scolded them a lot. Now at the sight of him, Sabrina and the girls all felt that they were reliving the days. "Congratulations."
Harley just responded tonelessly, and it made the situation a bit more embarrassed.
Vicky, for a moment, had the impulse to pull Cindy over and ask her what her relationship with Harley was, but she held it back when seeing that Cindy and Harley were coming hand in hand. Instead, she said, "Well, let's get back to downtown now. Sabrina has booked a hotel." "How sweet.
Then the three girls walked in the front, leading them out.
Awkward, Cindy took a look at her former roommates, and then at Harley, from time to time. Finally, she could not help it and pulled his sleeve while whispering, "They are afraid of you." "Oh? Why is that?"
Confusion was shown on Harley's face, which was rare. It seemed that he was truly baffled.
Cindy snorted and replied, "You know, you were too strict when teaching us!"
Now Harley recalled what happened back then. Honestly, he was not being stern, it was just that Cindy was always distracted, having those little chats in class, and he was trying to remind her by asking her questions.
And Cindy remembered it all, too. "You named me to answer questions a lot, and they were usually difficult questions to which I don't know the answer!"
How embarrassing!
Biting his lip, Harley explained, "I was trying not to let your mind wander."
Then he added after a pause, "And was trying to make you pay more attention to me."
