"I'll go with you!"

Harley shouldn't know her shoe size, and this pair of shoes was to match her bridesmaid dress. Even if she had to change a different pair of shoes, she needed to pick a pair to go with her dress. "There are no spare shoes in the car. You can't wear these anymore." Harley's tone was gentle but resolute.

Harley was considerate of Cindy, so she obeyed. She compressed her lips and murmured, "Okay. I'll wait in the car until you get back."

"Good girl." Seeing Cindy's cute look, Harley couldn't help but lift his hand to touch her hair.

"Stop! Don't touch my hair."

Cindy guessed what Harley wanted to do, so she quickly stopped him.

He glanced at Cindy's delicate braid and withdrew his hand. "Wait for me. I'll be back in ten minutes."

"OK." Cindy nodded. She rested her chin on the car window and watched Harley walking into the mall.

In Harley's absence, Cindy took her phone out.

In the chat group, there were tons of messages teasing about her and Harley. Cindy took a quick look. She complained that her friends were so mean, but she actually felt happy in her heart. Vicky and the others should go on break.

No one was sending messages at the moment.

Cindy went through all the photos again and saved the ones she had missed earlier.

After that, she quickly put her phone back in her bag as if she felt guilty to check her phone.

Harley returned exactly ten minutes later. When he came back, he didn't just carry a bag with a shoe box, but also a cake.

The mousse cake inside the clear box looked delicious, and Cindy felt hungry once she saw it.

Harley handed her the cake, and then he took out the shoes. "Try them on."

Cindy held the cake. Watching Harley hold up her feet again, she blushed involuntarily.

"I can try them on myself-" Harley didn't say anything. He took out a pair of pale blue, short, stiletto-heeled shoes from the box. They looked... fine.

Cindy put her feet into the shoes, and they were just the right size.

She was surprised. "How did you know my size?"

"I saw it when I took your shoes off."

Harley looked up at her. "Is it comfortable?"

"It feels like a good fit, but I'll have to get down and walk around to replace out."

"All right." Harley responded. Then he opened the car door and helped Cindy out of the car.

The shoes were incredibly comfortable. Cindy loved them after a few steps.

It had a delicate stripe on each shoe, and the rear part did not rub the foot.

The shoes looked quite plain, but when Cindy put them on, they looked so perfect on her feet.

She happily hugged Harley and exclaimed, "They are so perfect! Harley, thank you! I really like them!"

Cindy's voice was soft and sweet. Even though she said thank you, Harley didn't think she was keeping him at a distance.

To Harley, it sounded more like she was playing cute.
