Breanna was instantly shocked. "Alexander, did you see it clearly?"

Libby's face was white. "Alexander! Are you out of your mind? I'm your sister! How can you help an outsider and set me up?"

Tomas looked at Scarlett, who always looked calm. She met his gaze. "Mr. Jones, it's late. I won't continue to bother you. I'll have the money for the vase sent over later."

Scarlett glanced sideways at Antony. "Can we go now?"

Antony did a double-take and nodded. "Okay."

He then looked at Tomas and Breanna, said goodbye, and left the villa with Scarlett.

From the beginning to the end, Scarlett didn't seem to be anxious.

Tomas stared at Scarlett's back and suddenly thought of something. "Alexander, Antony's girlfriend is Raymond's ex-wife, right?"

Alexander was puzzled but nodded. "Yes."

Tomas frowned. "This woman is not simple."

Alexander agreed with him.

In Scarlett's eyes, Libby was just like a clown, who couldn't provoke Scarlett at all. Libby was so stupid.

Tomas' face suddenly turned cold. He raised his hand and slapped Libby in the face. "What did I teach you?"

Breanna only had one daughter. Seeing her husband hit Libby, Breanna was distressed. "Tomas, what are you doing! Libby was just impulsive. You can talk to her nicely. Why did you hit her?" "Impulsive? If I remember correctly, two years ago, at Dad's birthday banquet, she and Tiffany bullied

Scarlett. You think she made a fool of herself. She's also laughing at you!

"Did Scarlett show a trace of excitement or anger just now? How about you? You are born in the Jones family and my only daughter. I've always given you the best things since you were young! But look at what you did! You shame me!"

Tomas knew well about his daughter, but in the past, Scarlett was Raymond's wife, and the occasion was special. The Shaw family didn't like her. Thus, he didn't intervene in those matters. However, things were different now. He had been a businessman for so many years. He was acute.

Scarlett was very calm. She was just in her twenties, but when she met his eyes, she wasn't humble or afraid. Therefore, Tomas concluded that Scarlett must have experienced many things. Libby was completely blindsided by her father's slap that made her head buzz. Covering her face, she didn't even dare say a word.

Alexander hurriedly found an excuse and left. As soon as his car drove out of the villa, he called Raymond.

Raymond didn't dismiss his call this time. Alexander tutted. "Raymond, I just left my aunt's house. What a pity you didn't come! It was a great show!"

Raymond sneered. "According to your IQ, I'm afraid you're the one to be laughed at."

"Scarlett was seeing my uncle's vase when Libby pushed her. She fell to the vase and knocked it over. I had hesitated about whether to help her. Libby put on a show. I didn't expect your ex-wife to push me into the limelight and force me to be a witness.

"Alas! Scarlett is like a new person after the divorce. Why do I think this is the real Scarlett? You don't know how horrible her eyes were as she looked at me. She was smiling, but I felt the pressure." Raymond put out his cigarette. "You called just to tell me this?"

"What else? Don't you care about your ex-wife?"

Raymond lit another cigarette. "You are so concerned about her. Just chase her if you want. Anyway, you are handsome. It will be easy for you. You don't need to test me."

Alexander wanted to blow up. As his best friend, how could Raymond say that?
