Luis looked at Alison opposite. She had hardly raised her head since she sat down, and she only picked up the dish in front of her.

Raising his eyebrows, Luis stretched out his hand and knocked on the table. "Do you dislike me?"

When Alison saw a hand suddenly appear in front of her while eating, she was startled and then heard Luis's question.

She raised her head in surprise, looked at Luis, and blinked slightly. "No, no."

"No?"

Luis snorted and looked at her with a halfsmile, as he thought she was lying to him.

Alison felt her cheeks burning under his gaze, and she was very embarrassed. She bit her lower lip hesitantly and then said," Don't you like quietness?"

Actually, she wanted to ask "Don't you dislike talking with others?". But she changed her words after thinking twice.

Luis picked up a piece of beef. "Do you mean that the reason why you dare not talk to me or ask me questions is that I like quietness?"

Alison didn't know what to say, but her expression indicated that she thought so.

Looking at her expression, Luis felt annoyed somehow. "Then you are really smart."

Alison became more embarrassed when she was aware of his inexplicable anger. She bit her fork and did not dare to say anything.

Luis forked several dishes into his mouth and had a bite to eat.

"I am full."

Putting down the fork and knife, he stood up and went upstairs directly.

Alison was left alone in the big dining room. Staring at Luis's back, Alison couldn't help biting her fork again.

'Did I say something wrong?'

'But what words are wrong?'

She had been Luis's deskmate for more than a month. Even if Alexa didn't tell her that Luis was a cold person, she could realize that Luis was indeed colder than other classmates, as he didn't like talking with others.

Every time a classmate came to ask Luis for help with the questions in the workbook, Luis either walked away or just lay on the desk and pretended to sleep.

Occasionally, the classmates next to him chatted about some interesting things during class breaks and asked about Luis's feelings, and he always ignored them. Luis only talked with Benny sometimes.

It was known to all that Luis didn't like others disturbing him. So, Alison didn't want to bother him by virtue of her relationship with Alexis.

Since he disliked communicating with and teaching others, she would try her best not to disturb him. So, she asked other classmates some questions. Instead of hating him, she just respected him. But why did he get angry?

Alison finished dinner and washed the dishes before going upstairs.

As the door to Luis's room was not closed totally, she could hear him playing a game.

Alison stood at the door for a while. When the game ended, she knocked on the door.

Luis thought that Blaze had come back. As the door was not shut, he didn't bother to open it, and he just said. "Come in."

Alison was a little embarrassed. After hesitating for several seconds, she pushed the door and went in. "Luis."

Hearing her voice, Luis was stunned for a while. "What's up?"

It was the first time that Alison had entered a boy's room, and she didn't dare to look around. She only looked at Luis, who was sitting on the windowsill of the bay window. "I'm sorry. I'm not very good at talking. If I offended you, I hope you don't mind it."

Luis felt guilty, and he didn't know why he got a little angry. When he heard Alison's apology, his ears became a little red. "Did you say anything that offended me?"

Alison came to apologize, but she didn't expect Luis to ask this question. She blinked with a blank expression. "No."

Staring at Alison, Luis smiled as it was the first time that he had seen such a slow person. He glanced at her phone and then put it on the windowsill.

"Have you recited the poem that we've learned recently?"

"What? Oh, I've recited it."
