"Aren't you curious?" Scarlett raised her eyebrows and tilted her head at him.

How come he looked so calm? Scarlett was expecting the fun of teasing him.

"I'm curious..." Raymond answered. After a pause, he continued, "But I'd rather kiss you right now."

Then his hand was held up to her chin. He lifted her chin slightly, and then he kissed her on the lips.

The sweet taste of watermelon was still on their tongues, and their tongues were intertwined. Scarlett couldn't catch her breath.

It was probably because Raymond felt

uncomfortable in this position. He carried her up and put her on his lap.

Scarlett let out a low grunt.

His lips sucked greedily on hers. His tongue tangled wildly with hers. He kissed her lips, then her long, fair neck, and finally, his kiss rested on her sexy collarbone.

She subconsciously tried to move away. But as soon as she made a move, Raymond suddenly let out a muffled grunt.

His grip on her waist suddenly tightened, and Scarlett was held tightly in his arms. Their chests were closely pressed against each other's. Their hearts were close together and beating on the same rhythm. "Baby, don't move."

Scarlett's head went blank at his sudden voice. She sat there, not daring to move again.

After a long time, she couldn't help but look up at him, "I'm thirsty, Raymond."

At that moment, Raymond slowly loosened his grip and put her aside. Then he got up and brought her a glass of water.

Raymond seemed to have collected himself, except for the thin sweat on his forehead, which gave him away from that he almost lost control just before. But now he resumed the nonchalant look. Scarlett took the glass and sipped the water.

Her heart was still beating fast and violently as if it was determined to let him hear her nervousness.

"How did you found Mornet, Scarlett?"

He stroked Scarlett's long hair with his slim fingers. He looked tender and patient.

Scarlett took a glance at him. Then she told him briefly about how she started the company.

"When I was about fifteen years old, my parents made some money. They bought a lot of insurance. Unfortunately, they had an accident one year, and the insurance company gave me over a million dollars as compensation. That was a lot of money in those years. Coincidentally,, I majored in finance in college. One of the teachers told us to invest a little money, but he specified that it could not exceed two thousand dollars. We usually did some investments as practice, and we would get our final grades based on the profit/loss ratio of the investments. I found stocks to be interesting then. I opened two accounts. I invested about $400,000 in one account. And once the stock went up in price I sold

it. Then I bought other stocks at lower prices."

"About two years later, I made over $10 million. During my junior year, Alexis was cast in a small-budget movie as the lead actress. The movie was stopped several times due to the lack of funding. I thought the story was good, and I felt pity for Alexis, so I put $3 million into that movie, and that made me the biggest investor in that movie."
