"I heard Scarlett say she was going sailing with you today, and I was free, so I came over."

Rowan glanced at Scarlett. When he saw her smiling, he knew she had already known about it.

He glared at Raymond, "I don't need your company."

"And I can keep company with Scarlett passingly." Rowan,"..."

'This Raymond is really a shameless man."

Not to mention Rowan, even Scarlett felt that Raymond was a shameless man when

she heard this.

Scarlett blushed instantly when she heard what he said.

Scarlett glanced at Raymond, and then looked down at Rowan, "Grandpa, it's fun to sail with more people. It would be a bit boring if I were the only one to sail with you."

Rowan didn't want to upset Scarlett, so he agreed with her, "Yes, you're right."

Scarlett's yacht was large and could hold a lot of people. She bought the yacht because it was roomy enough to take Alexis and her other friends sailing. Or if Alexis wanted to have a party on her birthday, there was room for a lot of people to sail with. She hadn't thought that only five of them would sail this time.

Including the yachtsman and Yair, there were five people on the yacht.

Katherine had already asked someone to bring the food over early in the morning. There were fruits, drinks, all kinds of fresh meat and seafood on the yacht. Not to mention sailing for just a day or two, even if they were sailing for more than half a month, they wouldn't have to worry about food.

Rowan didn't want to see Raymond and didn't want Scarlett to be alone with Raymond, "Scarlett, go outside with Grandpa for a walk."

He had never seen the beautiful scenery of the sea.

Rowan had an extraordinary life experience, but Deeton City was an inland City with no sea. Rowan was busy defending his country when he was young. Later, when he retired, Kate was in poor health and he had no desire to visit other cities, so he stayed in Deeton City all the time. He thought he would live like this until he died.

But he didn't expect to replace a granddaughter when he was so old, and now she took him sailing.

Rowan thought he could show off to David when he got home. David said that his granddaughter had bought him some things, but did he visit somewhere?

'Well, he's no big deal. My granddaughter Scarlett take me sailing.'

'Did his granddaughter take him sailing?'

'Of course not. If his granddaughter took him sailing, he'd have to talk about it all the time.' "Scarlett, take some more pictures for me, so I can show them to David when I get home."

When Rowan said this, he was like a child showing off that his parents had bought him a new toy.

Scarlett knew who was David that Rowan was talking about. She had heard Larry say that he was Mr. David Fratelli, who lived next door to their house.

When he was young, he joined the army with Rowan and served as Rowan's " military counsellor" for most of his life.

Before he was hospitalized, Rowan had to play chess with him every day.

However, David was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer last year and had been in hospital for the past two years undergoing chemotherapy.

Rowan really wanted David to get well soon, so they could sail together and saw the vast sea.

But Rowan knew that David, who was so old and sick, wouldn't live much longer.

Scarlett took a lot of pictures with her phone. Rowan looked at the phone and mumbled about going home to see David. As he talked, he suddenly stopped talking. Then he looked at the sea, raised his hand and wiped the corner of his eye.

'Time and tide wait for no man. Time and tide wait for no man.'

Scarlett looked at him and her smile was fading gradually.

Raymond came out of the cabin. Scarlett looked at him sideways, smiled and said," Don't come over yet."

'My grandpa has already been upset.

Wouldn't he be even less happy if he saw you?'
