Scarlett and Raymond went back to the banqueting hall. Scarlett looked around and noticed that two women avoided her gaze when she glanced at them.

The world was small. Scarlett knew them.

They were Yvonne's friends, Sandy Chester and Heidi Frankie.

Unexpectedly, Yvonne's friends were still interested in Scarlett so much after Yvonne was sent abroad.

Scarlett arched her eyebrows and looked away calmly.

Raymond stood beside Scarlett. He looked down at her and asked, "Have you recognized them?"

Scarlett smiled, "They are Miss Sheridan's friends."

Raymond didn't know Yvonne's friends. However, as soon as he looked around, he found two women who looked guilty.

The old Jones walked onstage and made a speech. After that, a one-meter-high cake was pushed out. Libby's cousin, Garson Jones, helped the old Jones with the first cut of the cake. Then Garson cut the cake into pieces. The cake was distributed to guests. Raymond and Alexander were honored guests. Garson held several pieces of cake and handed the cake to them personally with Libby. Libby said, "Ms. Reed."

Libby forced a smile and was reluctant to send the cake to Scarlett personally.

However, Scarlett came here with Raymond. Besides, she stood beside him now and was his girlfriend. Of course, Libby needed to hand the cake to Scarlett personally.

Scarlett took the cake from Libby's hands and said with a smile, "Thank you, Miss Jones."

Libby learned a lesson last time. Although she was reluctant to do so, she still dealt with Scarlett.

The cake tasted good, but Scarlett disliked desserts. She ate little and lost interest.

Raymond even didn't taste it but put it on the table.

Scarlett smiled, 'Do you dislike it?"

Alexander ate the cake. Hearing what Scarlett had said, he snorted, "Ray dislikes buttery food the most."

Scarlett remembered that she booked a cake a few days ago during her period. It was an impulse buy. She ate little and lost interest. When she saw Raymond, she asked him casually if he would like to eat it. At that time, Scarlett just wanted to tease him. She didn't mean to force him to eat the cake that she had eaten.

But Raymond nodded. He took the cake from her hand and ate it.

The cake was a red velvet cake. It was buttery and sweet, but Raymond ate it up.

Scarlett came to her senses, glanced at Raymond with a faint smile and asked, "Is that so?"

Raymond glanced at Alexander coldly and said, "Shut up."

Alexander felt wronged and confused.

'It's true. Ray dislikes buttery food.'

Jake burst into laughter, "Don't talk nonsense anymore."

Scarlett smiled, "Thank you, Mr. Smith."

Alexander felt confused and didn't know what they were talking about.

When they were chatting and laughing, the old Jones walked over with the help of Garson and Libby. The old Jones said, "Mr. Shaw, Mr. Smith, Mr. Thomas, Mr. James, it's a great honor to have you here." The old Jones joked. Alexander was close to the old Jones. Alexander joked, "It's our pleasure. We like and respect you, so we come here."

The old Jones laughed, "Alexander, you're so sweet!"

The old Jones glanced at Scarlett as he said, "Is this Ms. Reed? You're pretty!

Alexander, why are you still single? Mr.

Shaw has such a beautiful girlfriend!"
