The two of them were dressed simply and neatly. Probably to make them more attractive on the show, their clothes prepared by Rylie were well matched.

Scarlett wore an orange undershirt, gray sports pants, and a gray jacket. Alexis wore a light-purple undershirt, gray sports pants, and a light pink jacket. They both wore a high ponytail and a white cap. From a distance, it was hard to distinguish one from the other.

Alexis thought about the envelope. There was a clue card inside. It read, "Lingering in the maples at sunset."

It was an ancient poem.

Alexis was resigned, looking at Scarlett. "Lettie, do you know what this means?"

Scarlett was silent for a while. "No."

They didn't have enough clues.

They walked for more than an hour. It was already noon, and the sunshine was getting stronger.

They took a break in the pavilion. The crew following them also stopped.

This path was tough, but it was cool.

Scarlett walked for more than an hour but didn't sweat a lot.

Alexis leaned on her shoulder. "Who came up with this riddle? It's so weird."

Scarlett smiled. "Isn't it because you are not clever enough?"

Alexis once again felt she was so silly compared to Scarlett. "You can't blame me for not having a high IQ."

That was up to her parents anyway!

Scarlett stroked Alexis. "Be good. Now that you know you're not clever, just listen to me."

Alexis was lost for words.

She thought that Scarlett took her as a fool.

Just as Alexis wanted to retort, Scarlett suddenly stood up. "Does Juanton City have maple trees?"

Alexis had no idea what Scarlett was talking about. She was puzzled. "Maple tree?"

Scarlett didn't expect Alexis to understand, smiling. "Forget it. Wait here for me."

Scarlett walked toward the "maple tree" not far away.

It was an artificial maple tree. A maple tree suddenly appeared on the mountain. Obviously, the crew brought it here.

Scarlett associated it with the cue card. She tutted, looking at the tree in front of her.

Alexis ran over curiously. "Is ... this an artificial tree?"

Hearing this, Scarlett looked back at her. "Your brain doesn't work, and neither do your eyes."

"Lettie, we are on camera. Don't laugh at me!"

Alexis tugged at Scarlett's sleeve, feeling that if she didn't say anything, she would be ridiculed after this show was broadcast.

Scarlett glanced at the cameras, her pretty eyes crinkling. "Alright. After all, you're my

employee."

Alexis was speechless.

She wanted to break with Scarlett after the show was finished.

Scarlett suddenly kicked the maple tree. Alexis was surprised. "Lettie..."

Before she could finish, a card similar to a maple leaf fell.

Alexis picked up the card in shock. The clue on it told them to go back to the starting point and replace the scorecard.

Alexis felt she had been tricked. She was depressed. "Is the crew fooling us?"

The crew next to them was embarrassed. The cameraman flushed under Scarlett's gaze.

Scarlett withdrew her eyes with a smile. "Let's go back."

The two of them went down the mountain. Meanwhile, they ran into Jensen and Stanley who were climbing the mountain. "Alexis, did you guys replace any clues?"
