HAZEL P.O.V

Ryder is very funny, in fact, he is the funniest man I have ever seen, he expects me to apologize to him for slapping him. I can’t hide the laugh so I burst into laughter. He expects me to apologize after all the things he did to me. I will apologize if he lye down flat and apologize for all the things he has done to me. I walked inside the room and luckily for me, Liza is not in the room. I need to rest before she comes inside.

Ryder will think I am still in his room, I should have hidden and waited to see his expression when he transformed back to his human form. He thinks he’s wise.

But he’s not, I will make sure he regret ever maltreating me. Reina walked inside the room and flash me a smile before walking to her bed. Why will she even smile at me? When did we become friends? I shouldn’t be surprised Reina is two faces bîtch I just have to be careful of her.

“Hazel” she called with a smile and I raised my head to look at her. “Any problem miss?” I asked with a frown, I just want her to know why she’s calling my name.

I can’t fall for her useless smile. “Common, I just wanna ask why you’re sitting down alone, nothing more” she replied with a smile.

“Why I am sitting alone is none of your problems” I replied. “I just want to be friends with you I am tired of fighting with you” She replied and walked to our bed. “I don’t want to be your friend, thank you very much” I replied and Liza walked inside. She stretched her back and hiss out loud. “Old Nana won’t be the end of me, she wanna kill me with work,” Liza said and her eyes landed on me. “Wait! When did you get here?” Liza asked calmly, but dramatically and I scoffed loud. “Did you expect me to dîè in the prison?” I asked her.

“Common why will I expect you to die in the prison, I wasn’t expecting to see you here so early, I was planning to bring food for you in the prison,” she said and I scoffed. “Bring food for me because I will continue to be a prisoner right?” I asked and she chuckled.

“I never said that, and if you think that’s what I mean, you are right,” she said and put off her jacket. “Hey what are you doing here? Did you miss the road?” Liza ask, I was expecting her to ask though. “Don’t insult me, because I won’t take it lightly with you” she said and glared at Liza before walking to her bed. I know she can never change, she is just pretending to be nice because she discovered I am Ryder’s mate. “Why did you allow someone like Reina to sit down on our bed?” Liza asked and placed her hand on her waist.

“I didn’t ask her to sit down, before she do and I can’t tell her to stand up, this palace isn’t mine, I am nothing but a slave here” I replied. “A slave? Why are you still calling yourself a slave! You are the future Luna of this park” She said. “Liza I am tired and I need some rest, so please excuse me for some minutes” I said and she scoffed.

Old Nana picked up her phone, she stroll through her phone and ddialedElder Martin’s number. And Elder Martin picked up immediately.

“Hello, Elder Martin, it’s Mrs. Lee,” Old Nana said. “Sure, your number was saved on my phone, Old Nana” Elder Martin replied. “Did you wanna know who his Majesty mate is?” Old Nana asks. “Sure, we will all like to know, who is she please?” Elder Martin asks.

“You need to come to the palace to know who his mate is” Old Nana replied. “Alright, I’ll inform other elders, we will be there in some hour’s time” Elder Martin replied and Old Nana end the call.

“Ryder thinks he’s smart, he didn’t know he’s stupid by rejecting his mate, he is calling her weak, while he’s one of the reasons why she’s weak today, he must accept her whether he like it or not, I am sure his father isn’t happy with him wherever he is.

Old Nana walked to Hazel’s room when she noticed the elders are around. She walked her up from her sleep before dragging her up from the bed. “Old Nana, hope no problem?” Liza asked. “old Nana why did you come to disturb my sleep? What did I do this time around?” Hazel asked and yarn out loud.

‘Stand up and let’s go,” she said and Hazel stood up without arguing with her. She knows it’s pointless arguing with old Nana.

She needs to be calm to know where she’s taking her to. “Old Nana, why are we going to the meeting room?” Hazel asked with a frown when they get ready the meeting room door.

“Because I want his Majesty to introduce you as his mate she replied. I don’t want him to introduce me, I am not his mate” I replied and Old Nana smack her head. “Ouch!” Hazel said and hold her head. “I can still smack you anyhow I like now, I’ll stop smacking you after your coronation,” old Nana said and glared at her. “Old Nana, I and Ryder aren’t compatible, it’s pointless introducing me to the elders because I don’t wanna accept him as my mate, I hàtè him,” Hazel said.

“So are you trying to say the moon goddess is stupid for pairing you two together?” old Nana said. “Old Nana when did I say that? Why will I say the moon goddess is stupid? It’s just that moon goddess made mistake, yes she made a very big mistake, she won’t pair me with Ryder if she doesn’t make mistake” I replied and Old Nana burst into laughter and Hazel wondered the reason why she was laughing.

You are even calling his Majesty by his name, which means you have accepted him as your mate” Old Nana said. I didn’t accept him, Old Nana, stop putting words in my mouth” Hazel replied. “Shut up and let’s go inside,” Old Nana said and open the door.

All eyes turned to them immediately they entered and Alpha Ryder stood up angrily. “What the hèll are you doing here?” Alpha Ryder growl. “I am sorry for barging into your privacy your majesty, ” Old Nana said with her head bow.

(What are you doing here with her?” Alpha Ryder asked pointing at Hazel angrily. “You mean your mate? I just decided to come to introduce her majesty to the elders, you know it’s her right to be here with you” old Nana said with a devîlîsh smile.

“old Nana!” Alpha Ryder growl and everyone shakes I’m fear except Hazel. “Why are you bent on humiliating me? Why just why!” Alpha Ryder said.

It’s the other way round your majesty Old Nana said and the elders stood up on their feet.

“It’s nice meeting you, your highness,” they chorused and bow their heads to greet Hazel. “And who told you all that you can greet her!” Alpha Ryder growl.

“We don’t need permission, your majesty, it’s our right to respect the future Luna of this great park, and we are even happy to see her, we thought you re done without a mate, we have waited so much for your mate” Elder Martin said. Yes, I can’t wait for the coronation day,” Elder Leo said.

“Out! Everybody I don’t wanna see anyone, I want to be alone” Alpha Ryder growled. “But we are here to celebrate with…” Elder Martin choked on his word. He coughs out loud and holds the elder next to him for support. “Are you all ready to go out or not?” Alpha Ryder asked and the Elders walked out one after the other including Old Nana.

Hazel walked to Alpha Ryder’s chair. She carried the drink on his table and gulp down everything at once.

“I always think you have respect for your elders, but I was very wrong, you don’t deserve to be called an Alpha, your people aren’t important to you, you’re just a selfish bàstàrd that cares about himself only,” Hazel said and sat on a chair.

“You almost kîll one of the elders just because they came to celebrate with you, tell me why are you this heartlèss? Why did you derive joy in seeing people in pain? An Alpha is expected to be down to earth, but you aren’t, you people are afraid of you, the term you as the notorious Alpha just because of your sadist behavior, must everyone know you’re a sadist? Alpha Rodolfo was a good Alpha to this park, he cares about the happiness of his people unlike you, you are just so selfish, change before it’s too late” Hazel said and walked out of the room. Amoux!” Alpha Ryder called. What’s the problem? Why are you disturbing my peace Amoux replied? Is it true that I am selfish?” Alpha Ryder asked.

No you aren’t, you just care about only yourself, how I wish I wasn’t blind, I would have claimed her, I am so proud of my mate Amoux said and Alpha Ryder walked angrily to his room.

Landon placed a knock at Harriet door and she opened the door immediately. “Good evening’ Landon greet and Harriet nod her head. What are you doing here?” She asked. Your father is here to see you Landon replied and walked away. “He has finally come back to his senses” Harriet said and lock her door before walking out. “Father, thank goodness you have finally come back to your sènses Harriet said and Mr Kaden chuckled. I am not here for you, I am here to see Hazel” Mr Kaden replied.
