“keep quiet!” Alpha Ryder yelled and Silence crowded the atmosphere, as Alpha Ryder’s aura radiated in the room.

And Mrs Blake moved back in fright, in as much as she wanted to cover up her nervousness and not let it consume her, she couldn’t do it, as she found herself drowning in it.

Her heart keep thumping heavily against her chest, as she waited eagerly for what alpha Ryder is going to do next.

“Did Hazel come here or not?” Alpha Ryder asked and Mrs Blake stare at the floor unable to raise her head up to look at Alpha Ryder.

Staring down at the floor, her fingers didn’t stop fondling with the tips of the dress she was wearing, sweat emanated from her body, balls of sweat formed on her forehead. All the things going on, on her head is how alpha Ryder isn’t gonna caught Hazel.

As much as she Want to lie to him, she knew she dared not to lied to me him, knowing it’ll be the end of her, she doesn’t want to die now.

Just the thought of her daughter being punished by her mate, keeps wanting her to lie to him, but she dare not.

“I think I asked you a question!” Alpha Ryder yelled.

“She’s here your majesty” Mrs Blake replied and Hazel also come out from her hiding place.

He stared into space, as he puffed some smoke from his mouth.

“Goodness! Why did you have to prove me right? Why did you have to?” Alpha Ryder asked and roughing his hair with his hand.

He g*****d and Hazel almost jerked, but she did her to compose herself, in order not to give him the impression that she was scared.

After what seemed like forever, he finally turned to face her, his face holding so much danger, and void of emotions as usual.

His facial look tells more about how angry he is, She dared not to look him in the eyes, because she’s feeling guilty right now.

“Why did you have to prove me right?” He asked calmly but his voice conveying nothing, but anger, and her heart skipped like a million times, as she flinched in fright. It has been long he spoke with her in this manner and she doesn’t know what he’s gonna do next, all the courage she build before she sneak out, collapse in her own eyes.

“Answer my question! Why did you have to prove me out! You sneak out right?” He asked angrily while glaring at her and she was forced to gulp down the lump that formed in her throat, as she stared down at the floor.

“I am very sorry” she said and alpha Ryder moved closer to her.

“Have you forgotten what I hate most? You’re saying sorry when you did what is in your mind, you have been working for your father right? You came to my park to spy on me right?” Alpha Ryder yelled and she moved back in fright.

“That’s not true your majesty, she’s not s spy, she just think giving her father..” alpha Ryder didn’t allow her to complete her word before he cut in.

“Enough! I am not taking to you, I am talking to my mate here!” Alpha Ryder yelled and

Mrs Blake bow her head immediately.

“Between my park and this park, which one is more important to you” alpha Ryder asked calmly.

“Forgive me, your majesty.” Tears welled up in her eyes.

“Don’t make me repeat my question!” He thundered, as she tightened her grip on the tip of her dress, like she is going to collapse anytime from now.

“I can’t choose, Red moon have caused me nothing but pain.” She whispered the last part to herself, but he heard her anyways.

He scoffed unbelievably as he stared at her for seconds before walking over to her.

“Did you say something?” He asked in his cold and deep voice, as he looked at her closely, his eyes holding so much anger.

“No!” Hazel lied.

“Don’t forget, I hate lies” Alpha Ryder said.

“I am sorry, for coming without your permission” Hazel replied.

“Don’t make me do what I didn’t wanna do!” Alpha Ryder yelled.

“I am sorry on her behalf, your majesty” prince Balnulf said and alpha Ryder moved closer to him.

“Who told you, you can talk? Am I talking to you?” He roared, as he held his neck and slammed him against the wall, before choking him, making sure not to give him any breathing space, his dangerous eyes hovered over his, while he struggled to breath.

“Maybe I should just kill you, I wanted to kill you before, I don’t know if this betrayal hide you, you dare not put your silly mouth when I am talking, No one dare! No one at all! You just signed your death wish!” He said, as he pressed his neck tighter.

Prince Balnulf tried his best not to cry, but tears found their way out of his eyes, as he stared at his dangerous eyes this time, so much pains rushing through him, he wished he killed him once and for all, but it seems he wasn’t even thinking about killing him, he just wanted to make him go through pains, and he was already on it.

He let go of his neck and pushed him roughly to the floor.

“You shouldn’t put your mouth anytime I am talking to my mate!” He yelled and suddenly face Hazel, he gave her a deadly glare and Hazel chuckled.

“Why are you taking out your anger on my brother? You should take it out on me, I am the one that made you angry!” Hazel yelled.

“Guards!” He roared, and in the next second, the door burst opened as two guards rushed in.

“Your Highness!” They both bowed, but he ignored them.

“Lock her up!” He commanded.

“Yes, Alpha” They chorused before nodding their heads and moved to Hazel.

“Handle her with respect” he added before facing Mrs Blake.

“Did I come late for my friend burial?” Alpha Ryder asked and sat on a chair.
