“Why did you slap my mate?” Alpha Ryder asked looking around.

“I am sorry for slapping her, your majesty” Liza replied.

“You should answer my question, didn’t you know I hate hearing sorry, sorry is one of the things I hate, answer my question” alpha Ryder said.

“She’s my friend, your majesty, I slapped her for making me worried” Liza replied and alpha Ryder walked up to her.

“I should have behead you, but Hazel said I shouldn’t hurt you, and I don’t want her to get angry, but you will beheaded the next time you raises your hand on her, and I have something to discuss with you, you should meet me in my room now” alpha Ryder said and Liza stood up immediately.

“Hazel it will be better if you follow me willingly, his Majesty gave me permission to drag you, I am sure he will punish me if he found out I truly drag you, so please make my work easy by following me willingly” Landon said and Hazel scoffed.

“I didn’t plan to go out of here before, but I will do it for you, let’s go” Hazel said.

“Thanks, very much” Landon said replied.

“Are you a sadist?” Hazel asked with a frown and Landon stop on his track.

“What brought about the question?” Landon asked.

“Is it difficult for you to smile?” Hazel asked.

“Why are you suddenly asking me this type of question?” Landon asked with a deep frown.

“I have never see you smile before, why did you like behaving like your king, he hardly smile” Hazel said.

“I am a guard, my work didn’t permit me to smile and his Majesty smile today, I saw him smile” Landon replied.

“I wonder what got over him, anyway let’s go!” Landon’s said.

HAZEL P.O.V

I walked into the room the maids prepared for me and I was surprised to see paradise before me. Why did he asked them to arrange this type of place for me? It’s not even as it I am important to him.

“Landon are you sure this is the room, His majesty ask you to bring me to?” I asked because I am not sure, how can you instruct the maids to clean a paradise for your slave.

“Yes, your highness” Landon replied with a smile, this is the first time I will see him smile.

“Stop addressing me as your highness, I am not your highness, please” I replied.

“Alright, I will get going now, his Majesty will be waiting for me in his room” he said and walked out. I jumped on the bed and spare my hand. It has been long I slept on something like this. Let me enjoy myself before I plan on what to do next, I heard Ryder released the maids. Why did he do that? Did he care about the slaves? Why did he even care about me, I don’t want him to care about me, I hate it when I see him care, I want him to continue hating me like before. The door throw open and three maids I am familiar with walked inside.

“Good day, your highness” they all bowed their heads.

“I am not, your highness, you guys know my name, address me with my please” I replied.

“We dare not, your highness, head guards told us to address you as your highness” they replied. This is Landon work, he will surely here from me, I told him I don’t want that title it doesn’t belong to me because I will never accept their king as my mate, how can I accept someone that rejected me even before I replace out he is my mate? I didn’t believe my father made him heartless, he did what he likes, he can still be a good king and take revenge.

“We are still here, your highness, we need to bath and dress you up” one of the maids said and I chuckled.

“I am not ready to bath and dress up, I will go bath myself when I am ready” I replied.

“His Majesty, want you in his room later” Helen one of them said, I wonder what he want to see me for, maybe he wanna rape me again.

“I don’t need anyone to dress me up, I need to sleep” I said and they nod their head and move back from me.

“What are you guys still waiting for?” I asked with a frown.

“We need to watch over you till you wake up” they chorused. What sort of problem is this? Am I am prisoner now? I don’t know why this people will watch me sleep, moon goddess what have I done to deserve this?

“You guys should go, I will call you when I wake up” I said, I pray they believe me and leave I don’t like it when they watch me sleep.

“Alright, we will wait for you outside, your highness” they replied and walked out and I breathe out in relief.

Harriet and Landon walked inside Kaden’s apartment and Mr Kaden was disappointed, he was expecting to see alpha Ryder but was disappointed when he saw Landon…

“Good day, father” Harriet greet.

“Good day, Mr Kaden, his Majesty will like you see you and your wife in the palace” Landon said and Mr Kaden smile happily.

“My wife isn’t around, we can go to the palace without her” Mr Kaden replied.

“No the instruction is come with the both of you” Landon replied.

“I greet but you didn’t answer my greeting” Harriet scoffed.

“I didn’t answer because I am not in the mood to talk to you” Mr Kaden replied.

“Anyway, we can’t go with only you, we will have to come back next time” Harriet said.
