Episode 51

Lance and Logan helped me to stand. I then jumped forward to give myself enough room to shift. Being back in wolf form gave me my second wind. I went over to Remus. I purred and rubbed my body up against his. He growled and nipped my ear gently. ‘We will have to talk to Melody and Luca about us having a go at the mating in their bodies.’ Remus purred in my mind. ‘Oh did the human way excite you?’ I asked in a testing tone before I tackled him to the ground.

Of course he let me tackle him. I may be a strong alpha wolf myself, but Remus was a pure male alpha and if he wanted to he could over power me. I mean he was born to be the next king of the werewolves. ‘The sound of you losing yourself to the pleasure we, as your mates give you, is not something I can experience in wolf form.’ That was true. When wolves mate in wolf form it is mostly light growls and purring. Even if the sounds that Lance and Logan were making were animalistic, I could still hear how I was exciting them, pleasing them and in turn it drove me to higher in my own pleasure. ‘I am sure they would not mind, but we have some business to tend to… my alpha.’ I said as I sunk my fangs into his neck.

He growled and shifted slightly under me. I released my bite and licked my mark. Now all three of our mates were completely mine. They were as much mine as they were Melody’s now. Remus rolled us over and we wrestled for dominance. He then rolled off me and whipped around behind me, mounting me and thrusting into me in one move. I let out a whimper, as Remus growled. ‘You belong to us. Now and forever.’ Remus purred into my mind as he thrusted in and out, picking up his pace and going faster and faster. ‘No one will ever take you from us. We will kill anyone that tries.’ I felt intense pleasure as Remus went faster, using both his wolf strength and speed to claim me. ‘YOU. ARE. OURS!’ He roared in pace with each final thrust and as I felt him meet his release along with me, he bit down on the back of my neck. I was fully marked and mated to all three of my mates now. No one could ever take them away from me, or live to try and take me from the three of them.

I laid on the ground as Remus released his bite and dismounted me. He curled up beside me and licked his mark, sealing it and cleaning up the b***d. I was panting. I felt so satisfied, yet so drained at the same time. “You can shift back and rest, love. We will take you home now.” Logan said. He was holding a towel while Lance was holding a nightgown. Logan was back in his jeans, but left his shirt off and Lance was wearing some shorts. I guess they packed more in the bag than I thought. I felt myself shift back into my human form and then I just drifted off to the sweet darkness of sleep.

~Back at the Pack house before the moon was at its highest.~

Terrance’s POV

I was about to fall asleep when I felt Thor stirring. ‘Huh? What is the matter?’ I asked him. I’m a bit groggy from almost being asleep. He is pacing and then he twitches his ears a bit. ‘Riley. She is stirring in her room and I thought I heard the window open.’ Thor replied. I was then wide awake. I leaped out of bed and rushed to Riley’s room. I tried the door but it was locked. I knocked and called out. “Riley?” I didn’t want to raise the alarm to everyone in the house until I knew something was wrong. I mean she could have just had a tough time sleeping and decided to open her window for some air.

I started to get nervous when I heard nothing. Then as I went to knock again I heard a thump. Like someone had jumped out the window. I kicked in the door and stormed in. Riley wasn’t in bed. I looked everywhere in the room. Nothing. Not in the bathroom, the closet, or even under the bed. I rushed to the open window and saw a shadowy figure running from the house towards the lake on the north side of the territory. Without thinking I pulled a mom stunt and jumped from Riley’s window onto the roof. Jumping my way down, as soon as my feet hit the ground I dashed off after the figure. Riley was missing and I can’t smell anything from this figure.

Since we got back to Raven Moon, Melody had the twins take off their gloves so the pack could be familiar with their scent. Kai’s scent was that of fresh winter pine and Riley’s scent was of a tropical ocean breeze. I couldn’t see the finger any more as I approached the lake. I looked around and just before I stepped out to the lake itself. The shadow came up right to it. They took off their cloak and I was shocked to see that it was Riley. I noticed she was in her home clothes and was wearing the glove again. ‘That is why I couldn’t smell who it was. She was wearing her glove again.’

I stood back and watched as Riley took off her shoes and glove. Her scent filled the air around her. She looked up into the sky and I followed her gaze. The full moon had reached its highest point in the sky. I looked back to her and she went to step in the water. I was about to stop her. She was still dressed and her clothes would weigh her down if they got wet, but stopped after a step. Riley was walking on the water’s surface like her feet never left the ground. I watched in awe as Riley made her way to the center of the lake.

*I was listening to a few songs and chose to use Kamisama Hajimemashita Kagura dance from Kamisama K**s for Riley’s dance and the Hinokami Kagura dance from Demon Slayer for Kai’s and their mother’s fire dance later on in the book. Just so you guys can listen to what I was imagining when I wrote this part.*

It was almost as if time had stopped for a moment. Riley began to move her arms and dance on the water’s surface. I felt a gentle breeze flow through the air and everything felt so light. The whistle sounds from the wind mixed with the rustling leaves of the branches almost sounded as if the plants around us were singing. I hear the sound of bells. That was when I saw that Riley had what looked like a crystal set of bells wrapped around her arms and legs. ‘What the- Those were not there before.’ I thought to myself. They jingled everytime she moved her arms and legs in a beautiful dance.

All of a sudden the water started to move in rhythm with her movements. Streams of water were being lifted into the air and floating around Riley as she danced. Her eyes were closed as she did her dance and everything had her normal pale green light shining through. I felt relaxed and calm watching her. She started to slow down and as she did so did the water. Once all the water was back into the lake, the bells that were on her arms and legs melted away into the water. Riley then opened her eyes and started walking back to the shore. “You can come out now, Terrance.” Riley’s soft voice called.

I jumped a bit when she called me out. I didn’t think she could sense me. I walked out to her. “When did you know I was there?” I asked. Riley just giggled. “Since I started my kagura dance. I felt Thor’s presence in the air.” She said innocently, but I was dying to know. “Why are you out here alone? What did you sneak out your window?” I was about to fire off another question when she laughed and held up her hand to stop me. “One question at a time.” She said. I nodded and waited for her to answer the questions I already asked her.

“Okay, first I came out here alone because I needed to release some energy. It is something I have to do every night when there is a full moon. It is just something I am just used to doing alone.” I nod, and wait for her to continue. “Second, I went out the window because I was trying not to wake anyone up or worry them.” “Well that little plan backfired. I thought someone had some guts to break into our pack house and kidnap you right from your bed.” I lectured her.

“I am sorry, Terrance. I will ask next time.” She said in a small voice. I sighed. “How about the next full moon, I just come with you? I found watching your dance to be quite beautiful.” Riley beamed and hugged me tight around my waist. “Oh that would be wonderful and thank you so much. I practice really hard to get it down perfectly. My Aunt Ren taught it to me.” I noticed that when Riley is genuinely happy, she says something about her family back in her world. I hope one day we can replace a way for her to at least visit her family, but Riley and Kai are now a part of our family here in Raven Moon.

Third Person POV

In a tree far away from the Raven Moon packlands… Two sisters were sleeping under the stars. “Did you feel that just now, sister?” One said. “Yes I did. There is no doubt about it. That was Riley’s magic.” The other one said. “And if we are sensing Riley close by, Kai will not be too far from her. Those two are usually stuck to each other like glue.” The first sister commented. “You’re right. Now judging from the lightness of the magic energy, I would say they are about three to four days of travel to the south of our location.” The other one commented. They both smiled and thought about how shocked Riley and Kai would be to see them after so long.

Unknown POV

“Master. It appears that the she wolf you want does have two guardians with her, but they are merely children. They should be easy to eliminate and to obtain your prize for you.” My pair of doublegangers reported back to me after three days. ‘So that divine wench already brought that girl her guardians, well I must be on to something if she had made personal protectors for that girl.’ I thought to myself. “Do what you think is necessary. I don’t care if you have to kill them if you must, but I need that girl brought here alive. Don’t underestimate those guardians just because they are young. If the moon mother sent them to protect her, then I would not be surprised if she gave them special powers.” They both bowed down low. “Yes master.” they said in unison and then left.

I leaned back into my chair and looked at the book I have read over a thousand times. I got up and walked over to a special portrait of someone I want back. Someone that I will have returned to me no matter what the cost. “I will get what I want, and then I can claim what belongs to me. Don’t you agree with me, my love?” I say as I run my hand along the painting.
