Ethan’s POV

“WHAT?!” The whole room erupted with loud voices. Making Jasmine cover her ears as she growled and glared at everyone shouting. Everyone in the room was trying to talk all at once. Jasmine’s eye glowed green again as she let out a massive roar. It felt like it shook the whole pack house. Everyone immediately shut up as they covered their own ears. Jasmine removed her hands from her ears as her eyes went back to normal. “Geez, you guys need to let people finish talking before you freak out like that.” She commented as she shook her head. “Alpha Jasmine has very sensitive ears. The combination of dragon and wolf hearing developed into a whole new level of hearing. She hears better than regular wolves and dragons.” Parker explained.

“Sorry.” I said in a low voice. Followed by everyone else’s apologies. “Now to explain why I said I think you guys should come home with me.” She said looking at me, Terrence, Melody, her mates, and even Tucker. “I can see that the twins have trained you guys well, but you are at your limit in this world. So my theory is that since Artemis, Apollo, and Thor were originally born in Edolas… You might be able to excel more surrounded by the magic in Edolas. Plus with Tucker and Carter being mated to Ren and my twin betas, they may be able to learn some unique skills of their own after the mate bond is complete.” Jasmine said. “That is true. Just like how the mate bond makes you guys stronger, the same applies to beast souls as well. Some humans have been able to obtain special powers through their bond with their mates.” Natalia said. I thought for a moment. It would give Terrence and I a chance to win our mate over, and also become stronger for when we take over the pack. ‘Sounds a bit like a win-win to me.’ Apollo said in my head. “But what would protect our packs and families from Estarossa if we did go?” Melody asked.

That was right. It was not if Estarossa was going to sit here and wait for us to train so we could defeat him. Tonight was like his fourth attempt at kidnapping Melody. “We will use our familiars. Combining my firefox, Calcifer, with the familiars of Kai and Riley, they should be able to protect this land from Estarossa for a short time.” She said, rubbing the back of her neck. “How?” Dad asked. “Estarossa is weak, but smart. Using our familiars we can strengthen the seal between this world and the demon realm.” Jasmine said. “Oh! So he won’t be able to summon anymore demons until the spell wears off.” Ren spoke loudly as she jumped up from her chair. “Exactly.” Jasmine said, snapping her fingers. “Without his pawns, he will go underground until the seal is weak enough for him to summon his minions once again. He would never be so brave enough to come looking for the princess without any muscle to back him up.” She said.

“But that would leave you and the twins without your familiars for a while, and are you sure that Riley and Kai are strong enough to perform the ritual with you?” Parker asked. Kai and Riley lowered their heads, and Jasmine gave Parker a little side glare. “You know as well as I that if we have nothing but faith in ourselves and our familiars then we can make it work. That is how this type of magic works.” she gave a soft growl. Her growl sent a shiver down my spine and from how Terrence shuddered too… It affected him as well. ‘This is going to be pure torture to be around our mate and not do anything.” I said to Terrence over a private mind link. ‘No kidding.’ he replied. We wanted Jasmine for forever, but because of her past history with men and mates we would play this game by her rules. I shook my head lightly and refocused on the conversation again. “Once the twins rest, then we can have them summon their familiars and see exactly how long the spell would last. I would give them a day or two to rest.” Jasmine said.

Then Jasmine turned to my parents. “Would it be alright if my friends and I stayed in your pack until the time comes for a decision to be made on if they come to Edolas or not?” She asked, bowing her head a bit in respect. “Oh of course you can stay with us at Raven Moon.” Mom said without hesitation. Our fathers looked towards Terrence and I, then turned to Jasmine and nodded with a smile. “So that should do it for tonight. Let us all get some rest before we head back home tomorrow.” Dad said. Everyone stood up and Jasmine reached for her mask as everyone left the room. As soon as it was just Jasmine, Terrence and me, I spoke up. “Um, alpha?” I call her by her name like I had been doing in my mind, but until she says that I can address her as such I will be respectful to her as I would any other alpha.

Then Jasmine turned to my parents. “Would it be alright if my friends and I stayed in your pack until the time comes for a decision to be made on if they come to Edolas or not?” She asked, bowing her head a bit in respect. “Oh of course you can stay with us at Raven Moon.” Mom said without hesitation. Our fathers looked towards Terrence and I, then turned to Jasmine and nodded with a smile. “So that should do it for tonight. Let us all get some rest before we head back home tomorrow.” Dad said. Everyone stood up and Jasmine reached for her mask as everyone left the room. As soon as it was just Jasmine, Terrence and me, I spoke up. “Um, alpha?” I call her by her name like I had been doing in my mind, but until she says that I can address her as such I will be respectful to her as I would any other alpha.

She looked at me with her beautiful eyes. “The two of you are my second chance mates, so you two are allowed to call me Jasmine.” She said with a small smile. I felt my heart skip a beat. Damn, I haven’t known her for even a day and I have it bad for her. “Oh, ah right. Jasmine, what did you mean there were other things to consider before accepting the mate bond?” I asked. She held no emotion on her face now, but her eyes held pain and sadness. “In my world I am considered damaged goods. If I wasn’t an alpha, then I would have been turned into some other alpha’s s*x slave or sold to the red light district.” Terrence and I growled. “You are perfect the way you are, and we love Kai and Riley. Our wolves claimed them as ours when we first met them.” Terrence said. Jasmine looked up at us with happiness and hope in her eyes, but then she lightly shook her head before she looked neutral again.

“Ok, but I am an alpha of a clan that has many different races. Vampires, beast humans, regular humans, giants, sirens, and other fae creatures.” She said. I raised an eyebrow, not sure where she was going with this information. She sighed. “As alpha of the Ember Cyclone clan I can’t just abandon them. They would never survive without my protection, and I can not in good thought ask you as future alphas to abandon your pack either.” She said, her eyes filling with sadness again. It pained me to see my beautiful strong mate hold such sadness and pain all on her own. “I mean one option is we reject the mate bond…” Terrence, Apollo, Thor, and I all growled before she could finish what she was saying. “WE WILL NOT REJECT OUR MATE BOND!” The four of us said in perfect unison. Apollo’s voice mixing with mine and Thor’s voice mixing with Terrence’s.

I saw her shiver at our growl and mixed voices. Her eyes were flashing between green, yellow, and her normal beautiful multicolor eyes. I thought I heard a light purr coming from her too. Jasmine blushed and covered her mouth. She seemed surprised at her own reactions. I decided to be a bit forward and walked closer to her. Terrence did the same thing. Then once we were both in front of her, we each placed an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to us. We placed our noses into the crook of her neck and inhaled her heavenly scent. “We will figure this out together.” I said. “And you belong to us as much as we belong to you.” Terrence added. I heard her gulp. She was pretty stiff, nervous, and slightly aroused going by her scent. I would have to speak to Natalia and Kayla one everything our pretty little alpha here likes. Jasmine cleared her throat and slightly pulled away so we were face to face again.

“A-a-alright. W-w-we will work on that m-m-matter later. I am going t-t-to sleep now.” She stammered out as she was flustered. I leaned down and pecked her cheek, as Terrence pecked the other one. “Sweet dreams, our little flower.” We purred into her ears. Her face got even redder, if that were possible, as she slipped between us and walked out of the conference room while putting her mask back on. I looked at Terrence and we chuckled. “She may be older than us, but it seems we will have fun teasing our little flower.” Terrence said. I nodded. “And no matter what we will replace a way to be with her and the twins.” I stated. We are a family now, even if our little flower doesn’t know it just yet.

Jasmine’s POV

I had to quickly get out of that room before I lost control and gave into my desires. I breathed deeply. I had never been that close to any man other than Parker and Robin, but those two were family. Terrence and Ethan are full alpha males that were molded by the gods. ‘Why deny the bond? You thought they were sexy even before we caught their scent.’ Kira whined. ‘Yeah. Plus they said that they claimed our pups even before they met us. Those two are perfect for us.’ Dalinda said. That completely shocked me. ‘Dalinda since when the hell do you like males again. You have hated all males since our first mate rejected us and tried to kill Riley and Kai?’ I asked.

Ever since that day Robin, Parker, and Kai were the only males allowed to be anywhere near us. If other males were even a foot away from us, then Dalinda would lose her s**t and try to kill them. Hell she couldn’t even let Riley and Kai out of our sight for a whole month before I had convinced her to relax again. ‘Honestly I am not completely sure. Even before the mate bond formed between us and them, I saw nothing wrong. Even seeing them hold our children didn’t enrage me like it should have.’ She answered. I can see what she is saying. The bond never affected us like this when I met Dreyfus. I felt the sparks and loved his scent, but when he rejected me because of my children. I felt nothing. ‘How about we try something with Terrence and Ethan?’ Kira said. ‘Like what?’ I asked. ‘If they decide to come with us back to Edolas, then we can see how they treat our clan. If things work out, then maybe we could merge our clan with his pack.’ She suggested.

‘That could work. Plus we could bring groups of our clan here the same way we are going to take everyone to Edolas.’ Dalinda said. I thought for a moment. ‘Alright, but until then we try to keep our emotions in check. Mate bond or not, our duty as an alpha and protector of our clan comes first.’ I told both Kira and Dalinda. They seemed content with that. ‘We will try our very best.’ They said in unison. I followed Kai and Riley’s scent to their room. I knocked and Riley flung the door open. She jumped into my arms and squeezed me tightly. I have missed them so much. I spend the night with my children and hearing how they have lived in this world on their own before they started staying at the Raven Moon pack. It seems it will be a tough battle to deny Ethan and Terrence. My children seem to have spent more free time with them when they are not with the princess. ‘I wonder how things will play out in the coming days.’ I thought as I fell asleep with my children wrapped in my arms.
