Legend Of The Moon Princess -
Episode 9
Luca POV
Luna Jessabelle showed up to the dining room. “Feel free to have some food and drink. I know it was a long trip.” She said with a gentle smile. “Oh thank you, Luna Jessabelle.” I said, returning her smile with one of my own. She laughed a bit. “You boys can just call me Jess here. Those ‘sticks in the mud’ elders are not here so there is no need to be formal with us.” she said with a smile. Then all of a sudden we heard Melody roar “YOU PERVERTED BASTARD!!” I stood from my chair, while the triplet alphas all sighed and shook their heads.
Next thing I knew. The roof in the corner was broken into splinters. Zezar and Carter rose to their feet while everyone else just sat where they were. I heard a g***n come from the corner, it sounded like a male. “I didn’t mean to… It was an accident.” the man said. A figure dropped from the hole in the ceiling and aimed for the man. He rolled out of the way and I saw him. Sickly pale skin, dark black hair, and bright red eyes. ‘A LEECH!’ What the hell was a f*****g leech doing in a werewolf packhouse.
“Honestly Mel, why would I peek in at you when you are so not my type of woman?” The bloodsucker asked his eyes never leaving the corner. The figure stood up. I could finally see who was there, as the dust began to settle. It was Melody and she was only wrapped in a goddamn towel. I felt an attraction to her like I never felt before. My pants started to grow a bit tighter seeing her there in nothing but a towel. “Then explain why you were in my room, Anthony!” Melody said.
‘Wait, what? This disgusting bloodsucker was in her room while she was in the shower?!’ I thought to myself. I was getting very pissed and couldn’t fully understand why. I was glaring daggers at this disgusting leech. I wanted to snap his goddamn head clean off his shoulders. Melody kicked off the floor and started swinging fast punches at the vampire. He was barely dodging them fast enough. “Anthony, if you don’t answer her, she will send you through another wall.” The girl from earlier said with a smile. “I was hiding from Sabrina… I accidentally knocked over some of her potions and she was pissed. I didn’t know you were home, Mel. I swear.” he said.
Melody stopped in mid-punch. “Then man up and be honest. No man is allowed in my room. Only my mate/mates.” She stated as she turned around. “Sorry for the roof dad, I will fix it later.” She said as she left the room, not even looking in my direction. “Whew. I thought she was going to kill me.” my attention brought back to the leech in front of me. I looked him up and down. He was medium built and height, but what was a vampire doing in the Raven Moon pack?
“Luca, Carter, Zezar… this is Anthony Moretti. Yes, he is a vampire, but he lives here in the pack with us.” Jess seemed to read my mind and explain a bit. The man named Anthony turned to us and waved. “Hello, sorry for the poor first impression. I really am not a perv or anything shady. It was all just the wrong place, wrong time.” He said with a shoulder shrug. “Um I don’t want to sound rude, but, um, what is a vampire doing living with a pack of werewolves?” Carter asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
Anthony didn’t seem to mind the question. “Oh well, I met Melody, Ethan, and Terrence a few years ago. They saved me from a vampire hunter that killed off my whole family.” He said looking a bit sad to remember that day. “To be fairly honest though Anthony, you know it was more of Melody than us. We still didn’t like vampires much ourselves at the time we met you.” Ethan said. “Yeah I know, but since we got to know each other it is all good now.” He said as he smiled at the twins. They looked at him and smiled.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to see Alpha Leo standing there. “I understand if you have your own discomforts around vampires, Prince Luce, but not all vampires are horrible. Just give it some time and try to understand Anthony a bit. He is nice and patient. He will not force you to like him. He will wait for you to be comfortable around him.” I thought for a moment. I nodded my head. I would try to see things their way, but I won’t guarantee anything. I am not sure that vampires and I would ever be friends.
