Matteo's POV

"What the hell are you doing here?" she snarl at me.

I know she hated me right now but I have to make things right thisinstant.

Yes I have been hiding from my father and last week I have been in helland thought of truly giving myself to Addasah.

The past weeks made me re thinks about a lot of things especially mydecisions. It even makes me realise that I am falling for her too and Iwant this to work between us.

I miss her and I damn well regret what I did.

I couldn't sleep for eight days thinking about Addasah and me.2

It hurts, Thunder now was growling mad for what she's doing but I shuthim off completely. I just want her to hear me out and Thunder won'tdestroy this opportunity for us.

Blood began to oozes out of my skin.

"Addasah” I force her to stop before I took her hands laying it upon myheart.

I felt her claws digging in my skin, as it reached for my heart. I wince alittle but I pretend not to be phase by it. At this point I don't carewhether she kills me or not because I deserve it.2

Her hand slowly made it's way into my skin. She's reaching for myheart, my breath hitch still I try my best to remain emotionless.Thunder was trying so hard to break down my walls but I knew that if Ilet him out he's going to punished and mark her right here.

Her palms now reaches my heart, her hands touches it and I felt it beatslowly. Here I was going to die by her hands. If I didn't have any Alphablood I'm sure I won't be able to live any longer.

My breath slow down I smile looking at her as her eyes were focus onher hand as it disappeared in my skin.

My body was weak but I reach out for her just this one last time. Icaress her cheek feeling those sparks again.

Closing my eyes about to fall down and die Addasah pull back herhands then fell down on her knees crying.

She looks at the blood in her hands while sobbing.

I drop down on my knees before her feeling weak. If I was a human Iwould be dead by then, there's a hole on my left chest I probably needstitches but I know only my mate can heal this open wound but I'm notgoing to beg to be save.

I felt her hands around my shoulder embracing me. Then she put herhead to the open cut and slowly my skin began to heal back together.She was sobbing in my chest uncontrollably. My tears now wet her hair.I pull her back once I had my strength back. Wiping off her tears Icaress her cheek gently.

"Addasah, I'm sorry" I cry

"I am so sorry and it's okay if you don't trust, forgive or believe me rightnow."

I cup her face in my hands "look at me Addasah” she close her eyestightly refusing to look at me.

"Addasah please” I beg her and waited until she finally open up thosebeautiful sapphire eyes of hers.

"I know you're leaving for uni and you may not believe this but please Iwant to promise you something”

I move closer to her our face inches from one another letting her handfalls on my beaten heart

This time my forehead is against hers and I nuzzle my nose againsthers. I pull out a ring from my pocket, it's one of my grandma's ringand I wanted to give it to her as a symbol of my promise and a token ofmy heart.

She keeps on sobbing trying to pull away but I pull her to my chesthugging her tightly never even want to let go or this moment to be adream.

Sometime afterwards I carry her back to her room, then wentdownstairs to clean my blood on the floor.

I came back and found her already shower and on bed. I made her liedown then pull a duvet over her.

I was to leave when she held back my hand "please sleep with me" andshe pulls me down beside her.

I watches her until she fell asleep and I made my way out there afraidmy father caught me.

Unfortunately, I came out of her house only to be surrounded by theBeta and my father's warrior.

"Seize him" I bare out my fang challenging them not to move anycloser.

I was to jump attacking them but something stings my neck and I'mout as a feather.

I woke up again with a head ache, I take a look around and replace myselfin my father's room on a chair and not in chain. I look in front of meand replaces my father sitting there behind his desk with eyes narrowing atme.

"We need to talk” replaceing my strength back I stood up "sorry Alpha butno" he glares at me

"Addasah and” I cut him off "if you are going to say I can't be withAddasah then you're wrong. I won't stay away this time"

He growl at me slamming his fist on the desk.

"I want my mate, not Quinn so please just accept it because no matterwhat you do I'll run away” I said.

I wasn't joking when I came back here for Addasah I meant every word Isay.

"You will not mate her" he is trying to control his breath, his handsclenching on each side of the desk.

"If you still want to see her eyes open again then sit down and let'stalk" he threatens me.
