Matteo's Pov

Hugging his children in his arms Lyndon raise his eyes at meconcerning his daughter's actions.

His brow furrow and I sigh linking him that we will talk later in myoffice.

"Addasah, your door will be fixed today I already told the men to put itback" I said and walk out of the room giving them space for a familytime.

I walk down to my office and came to face with Kevin leaning againstthe door.

Once he sees me he stood right up "I didn't expect someone elsetaking up my room and that he’s the one your dad claim as a hybrid,"Kevin says with no hard expression on his face.

I know that he's playing a pretend game something that he has alwaysdone in order to get secrets out of us. Once he knew he would jokeabout it in our face when we have a drinking night.

Yeah he can be a pretty jerk to us but when we were young he was agood guy not until his father remarried to Quinn's mother.

We may have some ups and downs sometimes but in the end we are allstill friends, me, him, Jay, Kai and Jace.

Today is a surprise to see Kevin back here after he changes Collegewithout telling any of us or even reconnect to any of us through theyears. Now here he is right in front of me like nothing has everhappened.

I ignore him and walk past and into my office. He followed me insideand sat on the couch on the right.

I took out a whisky from my desk and pour it in two glasses then I walkback and sat opposite him handing him another one. We both chuck itdown instantly without saying anything.

Kevin sigh rubbing his neck "I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I justnever expected anyone to move in especially Addasah's father" I tookanother glass of whisky and drinks it while listening to him.

“I'm not here to take back the Gamma title or crush on Addasah or tellour pack he is a hybrid" he said.

My hand clench around the glass and slowly I put it down on the table.I am still trying to act normal even though I want to leapt over andchoke with my bare hands.

"Good because I'm not giving you the Gamma position cause we'refriends. And who says her father is a hybrid? The last time I checkedeveryone in this pack is normal," I swirl the glass in my hand.

He look at me to see if I'm lying yet I won't give him the benefit of adoubt.

"Yeah, you're right I guess your father was only making up nonsense" Inod my head in return.

The door flew open and Jay saunter his way inside "you bastards" heshouted at Kevin.

He storm over him and hit him in the face making Kevin wince in painbut he never retaliate.

"You deserve that" he said and look aside at me.

"If you're thinking of hitting me I suggest you wouldn't. So don't moveor even dream of it" I take another sip of my drink.

"Fucker" he took the empty glass on the table and the whisky from myhand.

He pour it in his glass then drink it "ahhh now that's much better," hesat down beside me Kevin who's wiping off a blood from his bustinglip.

"It's good that you're here now" Jay eyes light up in excitement"because boys we're getting laid tonight.”

He winks and I glare in his way making him laugh out loud "so Isuggested you clear all your schedules today Alpha and you too theprodigal son" he pat Kevin on the shoulder.

We both furrow our brows at him and he smile saying "the crew isreuniting today.”

I slump back to the couch closing my eyes remembering that the onlygirls in our crew was Quinn and our other friend.

"You can invite Addasah"

I heard him but I didn't want to open my eyes and face Kevin. Yeah hemay not have anymore crush on Addasah but still he would be hurt ifhe knew that I'm her mate especially when he really likes her back then."Jay inform the Gamma, Delta and our head tracker, head technicianand top warrior that we have an urgent meeting today" I told him "andnow time to get out as I need to plan.”

"Dude you need to relax and of course will let them know" I heard themmoves around

"Alpha remember to turn on your phone” he call back before I heardthe sound of the door closing.

My eyes open and I stare at the bottle of whisky in front of me with ablank mind. Moving away from it I went back to my desk and startedworking on a plan for my Pack’s safety.

My friends is my least concerned as Addasah and my pack is my priorityand concern now. Their safety is more important to any fun or reunionwith my old crew.3

I work on a plan for an hour before a knock interrupted me "come in"The door opens and Addasah'’s father came inside. I totally forgot thatwe have to talk "please take a seat"

I move from my desk and sat down where I was sitting earlier whenKevin was here.

"What happened Alpha?” I sigh rubbing my face

"my father and James came today to warn us and they were makingdiversions on all borders," I told him.

"And Addasah?" he asks "she was with me, I swear I try to make herstay but she was too stubborn to listen” Lyndon nod his head.

"They were actually here in the pack house" I stood up abruptly "noneed to panic Alpha, they were just here for me and that's why whenyou came back I wasn't here," he explains.

"What's our next move?" he asks

"I was working on it and I don't know if Jay has informed you but wehave a meeting today" he nodded his head then we talk a little on theprogress of our warriors.

Lyndon excuse himself after we talk and I went back to my room to takea shower.

Sometimes afterwards I lie on my bed watching the ceiling and thenfinally I decided to call my friends that I won't be coming.

It just then I remember I don't have my phone with me. I lookeverywhere in my room but there was nothing.

I try to think where could I have drop it. Damn it I haven't even lock it" Icurse under my breath.

I retrace my steps and memories then it hit me I must have drop inAddasah's room when she was teasing me earlier.

I went towards her room and knocked on her new door but there wasno answer. I then twist the knop and replaces it unlocked.

I open up the door and saw Addasah back facing me. "Addasah haveyou seen my phone?" she doesn't speak.

I repeatedly ask her again still there was no reply and right when I turnto leave she spoke in a low voice

"This photo"

She turns to face me with her eyes seems to be red from tears with myphone in her hands.

My heart beats faster and I began to freak out. No it cannot be a photoof me and Quinn. I try to remember if I already deleted all of it when Iwas with Adassah2

“Right Thunder?" I call out to my wolf for confirmation. "Um bro whywould you ask me that" he retort sarcastically

"Now rest in peace motherfucker,” he spat at me closing off our linksGosh or could it be Jona's photo: the one I took at the hospital damn Ikeep cursing myself+

"this photo” she started to tear up breaking my heart.3
