Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1070: Hector, she's bound to get it
In the early morning, bright sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows, Hector picked up his suit jacket from the sofa and put it on, lifting his steps out of the bedroom. Ramm, who was waiting in the living room, saw him come out and immediately greeted him, "Prince, Miss. Killers is waiting for you downstairs in the dining room." "Go."
Hector and Ramm walked out of the room, one after the other.
When they got to the restaurant, they saw Killers sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window and walked over to sit directly across from her.
As Killers cut her croissant, she asked without looking up, "I don't suppose it's as simple as inviting me over for breakfast so early in the morning?"
She popped the croissant into her mouth before looking up at the man opposite her.
The corner of Hector's mouth curled up seemingly, "I wanted to attack that Institute straight away."
"Ahem!" Killers choked in surprise at his words.
She hurriedly took a sip of juice to smooth her breath and lowered her voice, full of disbelief, "Are you crazy, do you know how heavily guarded that institute is?"
"I know." Hector responded indifferently.
"If you know that, then you still want to attack straight away?" Killers suddenly found himself unable to keep up with his thoughts.
"I couldn't wait."
That sentence was enough to explain why Hector was doing what he was doing.
Killers put down his knife and fork and thought for a moment, "Hector, have you ever thought about what if you rushed into action and failed instead of succeeding? That's the equivalent of you being exposed, and then it would only get harder."
Hector narrowed his eyes and said with great certainty, "There is only success and no failure."
Killers couldn't help but laugh, "Hector, you are so naive, the Bergerian is not as simple as you think."
"That's why I need your help." Hector said.
"Fine! You asked after all." Killers leaned back in his chair and clasped his hands to his chest, looking at him with an expressionless face.
Whenever he approached himself, it was never good.
Hector took it in stride and poured himself a glass of juice, taking a sip before speaking slowly, "I need your help, and you're the only one who can help me."
"Don't!" Killers raised her hand to stop him, "Don't hold me up too high, I'm actually pretty useless."
She really didn't want to watch him risk his life, an action that could have unthinkable consequences if it failed.
"You won't help me?" Hector asked.
"It's not that I don't want to, it's that I don't want to see you put your life on the line."
Killers took a large sip of his juice, suppressing his irritation and continued, "You need to think about your wife, if something were to happen to you, who would save her?" Hector frowned, "Killers, are you hitting the nail on the head that you think it will fail?"
"I'm just saying what if. After all, the opponent is Bergerian."
"Don't think too highly of him." Hector said lightly, "The other researchers at the Institute are not even close to being feared, except for those he's put in place for security." Killers all but thought for a moment, confirming, "Do you have to do this?"
Hector nodded, "It's the only way to go right now."
"That's fine." Killers took a deep breath, "Then I'll lay down my life for you."
The implication was that she agreed to help him.
Hector slowly curled his lips, "Thank you."
Killers skimmed his lips, "I really owe you in another life."
She took a large bite of her croissant with hatred.
...
Before Earlene came to Italy, she had someone research the hotel where Hector was staying, and subsequently, she checked into the same hotel.
She thought that maybe one day she would run into each other by chance, but she didn't expect that day to come so soon.
When she saw Hector enter the restaurant, her face was instantly filled with surprise as she opened her mouth to call out to him.
She opened her mouth to call out to him, but saw him walking towards the other side of the restaurant without looking away. She saw him take a seat across from a woman.
A fierce frown creased her brow; who was that woman?
After that, she didn't even care about breakfast, all her attention was on Hector and the woman.
I don't know what the two talked about, but the woman was clearly a little agitated, but soon calmed down again.
You could tell that the two knew each other well and were on good terms.
Did Eloise know that her husband was meeting another woman in Italy and having breakfast together?
An absurd thought flashed through her mind and Earlene pulled out her phone and turned on the camera.
Click, click, click.
She took several pictures in quick succession and sent them all to Eloise.
After sending them, she realised that her hands were shaking.
She couldn't help but laugh at how it felt like she was catching an adulterer.
Whatever Hector's relationship with that woman was, as long as it gave Eloise a hard time.
Meanwhile, in Kyoto, China, Eloise received the photo.
Before she clicked on them, she saw that Earlene had sent her some pictures and thought they were funny or something.
Who knew that when she clicked on it, she saw that the people in the pictures were Hector and Killers.
"How did she... get a picture of this?" Eloise stared at the picture, filled with confusion.
She thought about it and sent Earlene a message, "Did you take this?"
There was a quick reply.
A, "Yes."
Eloise frowned, her fingers typing rapidly on her phone.
"You're in Italy?"
After sending it, she bit her finger and waited for a reply.
But after a long wait, Earlene didn't reply.
Eloise had to call directly.
The caller picked up quickly, "Eloise."
"You've gone to Italy, haven't you?" Eloise asked straight away.
There was no response.
Eloise took it as her default and couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Earlene, don't you think you're going too far, Hector's going to Italy and you're going with him, do you think I'm stupid?" "I was over on business and just happened to see it."
Earlene's explanation, which Eloise didn't believe, "Italy is so big, how can you just 'happen to see' it?"
She deliberately added the word "just happened to see".
But Earlene was not at all impressed, "If you don't believe me, I can't help it."
"Earlene!"
Eloise was angry, the first time she had called Earlene by her first name in all the time she had known her. "Eloise, don't you care that Mr Hector is seeing another woman when you call to question me about this?"
When she heard this, Eloise realised that she had sent the photo to give her a hard time.
But she had the wrong idea.
"He's not meeting with another woman, he's meeting with his friend."
Earlene's eyes widened in surprise, so Eloise knew that woman!
On the other end of the phone, Eloise's voice continued to ring, "Earlene, you better put those thoughts of yours away and not do anything to damage yourself." Earlene narrowed her eyes, a cold look in her eyes, "You don't get to tell me what to do!"
With that, she hung up the phone and looked towards Hector, who was not far away.
She was still hesitating, but now she had made up her mind.
Hector, she was bound to get it.
