Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1094: Can you teach me
Edgar showed a helpless smile, "No matter who you are trained by, the first thing you have to do is to protect yourself first, don't be impulsive, got it?" One could feel that he really cared for himself, Thomas' heart warmed, "Mr Edgar, don't worry, we will come back safely."
"Trust you guys." Edgar patted him on the shoulder, "Take care on the way."
"Good."
After Thomas and Rowson left, Ramm felt uneasy, "Mr Edgar, why don't I come along too? Bring more people?"
"No need. You stay here, in case something happens, we can deal with it."
Thomas and the others were going to replace out what was going on first, and if the people were really being held there, it wouldn't be too late for them to go back then. And with more people, it would be too big a target and easy to attract attention.
Ramm sighed, "All right."
Edgar turned and walked to the balcony, looking at the darkening sky, worry written all over his handsome face.
There was no telling what Eloise's condition was.
Meanwhile, Eloise, locked in her room, dropped onto her bed in frustration.
She looked around and sighed heavily.
She had been trying to replace a way to escape, but the villa had been built on the sea, and the view from her room window was of the vast, raging sea.
And coincidentally, outside her room was a reef, so if she jumped, she would lose half her life.
If that didn't work...
She looked up at the closed door of her room, the only way out was through here.
But how could she get out when there was someone guarding the outside and the door was locked?
Just as she was racking her brains, the door was opened from outside.
It was Bergerian.
"Sofía," Bergerian said, his eyes locked on the slender figure on the bed.
Eloise hurried to her feet and stared at him with a defensive look on her face, "What do you want?"
Bergerian approached with a kind smile on his face, "It's almost evening and I'd like to invite you to dinner, I wonder if you'd be so kind?"
"I ..." Eloise subconsciously declined, but on second thoughts, thinking she might be able to escape, she agreed, "Yes, I'm hungry anyway."
"Then please." Bergerian made a gesture of invitation.
Eloise gave him a look, got up, and walked out on her own.
Bergerian couldn't help but lose his smile and lifted a step to follow.
Eloise held onto the railing and walked slowly down the stairs, looking around unobtrusively.
She was trying to replace out how many people were guarding the villa.
When she reached the ground floor, she realised that there were far more people than she had expected, with a man in black standing almost a few steps away.
She stopped and looked back, her sneering gaze falling on Bergerian, "Aren't I the only one here? Are you looking down on me too much by having so many people watching?" Bergerian walked up to her, the corners of his mouth curving up in a shallow curve, "Not at you, but at the Rogers family."
Eloise's eyes flashed slightly, "The Rogers family isn't as good as you think."
"Is that so?" Bergerian raised an eyebrow, "I do think of Hector as my greatest rival, although ... he was locked upstairs with me yesterday."
At the sound of this, Eloise instantly perked up, "What do you mean? Hector's here too?"
She looked towards the stairs and lifted her feet to go upstairs.
"Wait a minute." Bergerian stopped her and asked, seemingly unintentionally and seriously, "Do you love him very much?"
"Of course." Without hesitation, Eloise pushed him out of her way and headed upstairs.
At that moment, Bergerian's slow voice sounded behind her, "He's gone, he's not here."
Eloise kicked her feet up and turned around, "Really?"
"Of course." Bergerian turned around and spread his hands, "I don't have to lie to you, do I?"
"I don't believe you!"
Eloise didn't believe him and pulled her legs up and ran upstairs.
Bergerian gestured for his men to follow.
Eloise searched all the rooms upstairs and there was no sign of Hector before she believed Bergerian wasn't lying to him.
"Hector ..."
She slid down slowly with her back against the wall and ended up sitting crouched on the floor, her hands wrapped around her calves and her head buried between her knees. Was he already thinking of ways to save her?
Bergerian looked away from the crouching figure and a strange feeling crossed his mind.
He frowned and lifted his feet and approached slowly, step by step.
Finally, he stood in front of her and looked at her out of the corner of his eye, "It seems you love him very much."
The words hit a nerve and Eloise jerked her head up and glared at him, "Yes, I love him very, very much! Can't I?"
Bergerian fell silent as he locked eyes with her, his expression so calm that it was impossible to tell what was going through his mind at that moment.
Eloise lowered her head, raised her hand to wipe the tears she couldn't hold back and snorted, "And yes, someone like you certainly doesn't know what love is."
Bergerian's eyes narrowed as he reached out and pulled her to her feet, staring her dead in the face and asking in a cold, hard tone, "Who are you saying doesn't know what love is?" He didn't look kind at all, he looked gloomy, his gaze was cold, and he exuded an appalling chill.
Much like Hector when he was angry.
Eloise had been a little scared, but the thought of Hector had stopped her from being scared.
She took a deep breath, "I said you don't know what love is, do you understand me?"
Bergerian stared at her for a moment and suddenly burst out laughing.
Eloise blinked, was he so irritated by himself that he was mad?
After a moment, the laughter slowly stopped and Bergerian looked at her, curling his lips, "I really don't know what love is, so can you teach me?" Eloise's eyes rolled, "Yes, but I have conditions."
"Let you go, yes?" Bergerian asked.
I didn't think he'd read his mind.
Eloise shrugged and returned honestly, "Yes, you let me go, and I'll teach you whatever you want."
"And what if I want you to stay with me?"
Bergerian locked his eyes on her small, clear face.
"No way!" Eloise replied dryly.
Bergerian raised an eyebrow, "Then there's no way I'm letting you go either."
With that, he let go of her.
"Bergerian!" raged Eloise.
"Go, didn't you say you were going to have dinner with me?" Bergerian ignored her anger.
Eloise clenched her fists and said angrily, "I'm full, go eat by yourself."
With that, she ran into the room and slammed the door behind her.
Bergerian turned his head to look at the closed door, and the corners of his mouth rose involuntarily.
Whenever Lisa had lost her temper with him in the past, he had always found it annoying and hated to kill the person.
But why did it make him feel so cute when she lost her temper?
It wasn't even annoying at all, he kinda enjoyed it.
It was really strange.
