Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1111: Something happens to Eloise
Lisa walked out of the room, paused, glanced back into the room and whispered to Carl at her side, "Book me a flight to City J."
At that, she Edwina frowned, "Where the hell is City J?"
A flicker of hesitation crossed Carl's face, "Ma'am, actually ..."
"What's wrong?" Lisa turned her head to look at him.
"Eloise is at City J."
Lisa's face changed instantly, "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
Lisa was silent for a few seconds and suddenly burst out laughing, her smile full of mockery, "Bergerian, Bergerian, what kind of drugs did that woman give you to chase someone to their country." "Madam, are you still going then?" Carl asked cautiously.
"Go, why not." Lisa narrowed her eyes and a hint of ruthlessness surfaced under them, "I will never let that woman go this time."
Carl lowered his head, "Then I'll go and book your flight now."
With that, he was about to leave.
"Wait." Lisa called out to him, "You're coming with me."
Carl said "yes" and hurried away.
Lisa looked back into the room, a cold smile on her lips, Bergerian, whatever the method, I won't give you what you want.
...
Kyoto.
Early in the morning, Brimlad is up preparing breakfast.
She had carefully boiled a pot of chicken congee and prepared various small dishes.
When it was all ready, she went upstairs to call Eloise to get up.
"Eloise, get up." She opened the door straight away and walked into the dimly lit room.
There was no response from the person in the bed.
Brimlad couldn't help but lose her smile as she walked over and pulled the heavy curtains open, the early morning sunlight poured in through the window pane and instantly the whole room was bright. She walked over to the bed, leaned down and reached out to nudge Eloise, who was sleeping, "Eloise, get up for breakfast."
There was still no response.
"Eloise, get up." She raised her voice.
But Eloise still didn't respond.
She couldn't help but frown, she couldn't have heard nothing after all the screaming she had done in her deep sleep.
She tried to open her eyes, but her eyelids were so heavy that she couldn't open them no matter how hard she tried.
The infinite darkness enveloped her and there was no light in sight.
She was terrified and tried to open her mouth to call for help, but no sound came out of her throat. She was so tired.
A teardrop slipped from the corner of her eye.
Brimlad saw it and his face changed instantly, shouting, "Eloise, you can hear me, can't you?
No matter how much she shouted and shook, Eloise didn't wake up.
It was then that she realised something was wrong and turned to run out.
"Edgar, something's wrong." She ran to Edgar's room.
Edgar was still changing and when he saw his mother rushing in in a panic, his expression instantly flinched and he asked in a deep voice, "What's wrong?" "Eloise doesn't know what's wrong, I've been shouting at her and she won't wake up."
Edgar's face paled and he dashed out with his legs drawn.
Eloise was as if she was asleep and it was completely unnoticeable that anything was wrong.
Edgar tried shouting a few times and there was no response.
He frowned fiercely, "I'll contact Almeida and the others and have them come over."
Brimlad nodded, "Go on and get going."
When Edgar was out, Brimlad sat down on the edge of the bed and took Eloise's somewhat cold hand in his, looking at her with both worry and distress. How could this child's life be so hard?
She had been happy with Hector, and now he had disappeared and she had collapsed.
When will she really be happy?
Thinking of this, Brimlad couldn't help but start to shed tears. She hurriedly wiped them away and said, "Eloise, don't worry, Edgar will help you get Hector back." Eloise heard her voice, but could not give her any response, and let the tears fall from the corners of her eyes.
Brimlad saw this and looked pleased, "Eloise, did you hear me?"
Eloise's eyes remained closed and she did not respond.
Brimlad wiped her tears, "If you heard me, don't worry, Almeida and the others will be here soon."
Brimlad held her hand tightly, silently giving her strength.
...
As soon as Almeida and Sener received the call, they hurried to Kyoto.
It was after one in the afternoon when they arrived at the old Khan family home and in the time before they arrived Eloise was still asleep and showed no sign of waking up. Almeida looked at Eloise's eyes and the pupils were normal.
He couldn't help but wrinkle his brow and turn his head to Edgar and Brimlad, "What's going on?"
"Eloise fell asleep in the car on the way back yesterday, just like she normally sleeps, nothing strange about it." Edgar said.
"Almeida wasn't asking about that, he was asking if something happened before Miss Eloise fell asleep?" Sener explained. "This..."
Edgar and Brimlad looked at each other.
Seeing that he seemed a little hesitant, Almeida said, "Mr Edgar, you must set the record straight so that we can work out Miss Eloise's problem."
Edgar pondered for a moment, "Actually it was Hector who went missing."
"What? The prince is missing?" Almeida and Sener were both shocked.
"What's going on?" Sener trailed off.
"The man was taken by Earlene."
Almeida frowned, "Earlene? Is that the woman who injected Miss Eloise with the drug?"
Edgar nodded, "Yes, that's her."
Sener frowned at the thought, "No, how could the prince have gone along with her meekly?"
Suddenly something occurred to him and he looked at Almeida, "Did she do something to the prince?"
Almeida's expression became grave, "I can't rule out that possibility. With the prince's nature, there is no way he would go with another woman."
"I know you're worried about Hector, but the most important thing right now is Eloise," Edgar hastened to remind them.
Almeida gave him a look before turning her head to look at Eloise on the bed, "Miss Eloise should be unconscious because her body didn't take it for a while due to the emotional ups and downs." "So what happens now?" Brimlad asked anxiously.
"We'll inject her with the medication and she should wake up soon."
But to her surprise, while injecting the drug, Eloise suddenly convulsed.
It scared the few people present.
Sener hurriedly stopped the drug injection and joined Almeida in controlling Eloise's body.
"What the hell is going on here?" Brimlad looked at Eloise, who seemed to be convulsing in pain, and couldn't help but cry out.
"Mr Edgar, you take your mother and wait outside first." Almeida said turning back to the frightened Edgar's.
Someone was there and this was interfering with their rescue.
Edgar snapped back to his senses, "Okay, we'll be right out."
