Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1145: There's no way he's coming back to you

"You saw him?" Edwina looked amazed.

Eloise smiled and nodded, "Well, I saw it when I was buying flowers at the florist."

She walked into the living room, picked up the flowers that were sitting on the sofa and handed them over, "Happy birthday, Edwina."

Looking at the beautiful bouquet, Edwina lifted her hand to cover her mouth, her eyes heavy with moisture as she looked over at Eloise, "Miss. Eloise, you ..."

"It's your birthday, you should be happy, don't cry." Eloise reached out to wipe her tears and placed the flowers in her arms, "I hope you will meet your happiness soon." "Thank you Miss. Eloise."

Edwina cried again, crying like a baby.

It was the first time she had felt valued since her sister had left.

Seeing her cry, Eloise's eyes couldn't help but get wet too, and she hurriedly took a deep breath to force the tears back, curved her lips and smiled, "Stop crying and let's go to dinner. The children are waiting." Edwina hurriedly wiped her tears and pursed her lips, "Mmm."

The party didn't end until after ten o'clock at night, and Solomon and Sweety were so tired of playing that they fell asleep as soon as they got into the car.

Eloise put the blankets she had in the car over them and looked at their tender faces with a look of tenderness in her eyes.

Thomas turned his head to look at them and a moment of hesitation crossed his face. He squeezed his palms and asked, "Miss Eloise, is your friend alone with the children?"

At that, Eloise looked up, "Yeah, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, just thought it was awesome." Thomas turned his head and smiled at her, saying nothing more.

Eloise looked at him with a thoughtful expression.

Back at the Khan family, Eloise tried to wake the two children, but only Solomon woke up, rubbing his sleepy eyes and calling out vaguely, "Mummy."

"I'm here, we're getting off and going home."

"Oh." Solomon dutifully got out of the car on his own.

Sweety, who hadn't woken up, was carried upstairs by Thomas.

Eloise followed him, and when she passed the study and saw that the light was still on inside, she knocked on the door.

"Come in." Edgar's low voice came.

Eloise raised her eyebrows slightly, opened the door and walked in.

"Cousin."

Edgar looked up at her with a gentle gaze, "Where did you go to play, why are you back so late?"

"It's Edwina's birthday."

"Birthday?" Edgar was surprised, "It's her birthday?"

"Yeah." Eloise nodded, "You didn't know?"

"I ..." Edgar looked at her with a meaningful look and suddenly smiled, "Why should I know?"

Eloise raised an eyebrow, "I thought you liked her."

Edgar burst out laughing, "Eloise, where did you get the idea that I liked her? When did you become as fond of nonsense as my mother?" "You really don't like it?" Eloise confirmed again.

Edgar nodded, "Yeah, I don't like it, I really don't."

"Oh." Eloise bristled and pretended to be careless, "Then I'll introduce her to Thomas, I get the feeling Thomas seems to like people." "Introduce her to Thomas?" locked Edgar's brow, "Eloise, are you going to be a bride?"

"Edwina is having a hard time bringing up a child on her own, she needs someone to help her out. He's handsome and responsible, he'd be perfect." Edgar was silent for a few seconds before he said, "You should stay out of relationship matters."

Eloise was intrigued, "Do you mind a little, cousin?"

She raised an eyebrow at him and smiled a particularly meaningful smile.

"I ... I don't." Edgar fluttered a little.

In fact, he didn't know what was going on, but hearing that she was trying to set Edwina and Thomas up suddenly made him feel a little stuffy inside. "Oh." Eloise trailed off deliberately, "I'll do that then."

She turned around after saying that and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

I couldn't believe he didn't mind.

"Cousin, I'm going to my room to sleep."

Eloise purposely slowed her steps and took one step towards the door. "Wait."

Just as she was about to reach the door, Edgar hurriedly called out to her.

The corners of Eloise's mouth couldn't help but rise, but she hurriedly held it back and turned around, looking at him with an expressionless face, "What's wrong?" "That... we're going to see Grandpa in hospital together tomorrow."

"That's it?" Fine brows furrowed, Eloise looked at him in surprise.

Edgar smiled, "Or else."

"I thought... I thought you ..."

Eloise sighed, "Never mind, I'm going to bed, let's talk tomorrow."

Watching her walk out with her head hanging, Edgar shook his head and laughed, did she think he was calling out to her for Edwina?

To be honest, he did have a soft spot for Edwina, after all, kind people were more appealing to people.

With that in mind, he pulled open his desk drawer and pulled out a flannel box from inside.

When he opened it, there was the four-leaf clover necklace that Edwina had chosen when he had picked out a present for Elva.

He had gone back to the shop that day and bought it by accident.

He had thought about giving it to Edwina, but he didn't know what to give it as.

Now that he has it, he will replace a chance to give it to her tomorrow.

...

Back in his room, Eloise was just about to put his phone on the bed when a short ring sounded.

It was a message.

She opened it and her pupils fluttered abruptly.

--want to know where Hector is?

The other party was an unfamiliar number, but she replied quickly anyway, her hand shaking as she held the phone. Who is this?

A reply soon followed: I'm a friend you know well, and I'll tell you where Hector is if you'll come and see me.

Looking at the words on the screen, Eloise slowly calmed down, she narrowed her eyes and her fingers typed a quick line: You're Bergerian, aren't you? I'm telling you, I won't see you, ever. After sending it out, she threw the phone onto the bed and the man followed, lying on his back, his eyes fixed on the ceiling.

As much as she wanted to know where Hector was, she wasn't going to be stupid enough to throw herself at her brother-in-law and the others and let them worry about her.

She rolled over just as her phone received a reply.

Tapping it open.

Sofía, are you sure you don't want to know where Hector is? That would be a shame, because there's no way you'll ever replace him on your own, and there's no way he'll come back to you on his own. Eloise sits up abruptly on the bed and calls back directly.

Soon it picked up and Bergerian's voice came through the receiver, "Sofía, how are you?"

"Not good, not good at all." Eloise said through clenched teeth.

Bergerian laughed lowly, "Coincidentally, neither am I."

Eloise narrowed her eyes, "Bergerian, where the hell is Hector?"

"I told you, if you want to know, come and see me. I'll tell you where he is then."
