Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1157: Neglecting one thing

Eloise interrupted him as if she hadn't heard, looking cold, "Mr Bergerian, I have no intention of embarrassing you, I just want to know where he is."

"I can tell you if I want to, but you must come back to Italy with me."

As soon as Bergerian's words left his lips, Rowson immediately replied, "No way! There's no way she's going back to Italy with you!"

Bergerian turned his head to look at him, looked him up and down in his costume and said sarcastically, "Mr. Rowson, you're a renowned researcher in the medical field, and you're working here as a chef, isn't that too much?" "There's no way she's going back to Italy with you." Rowson repeated and continued, "And you're not going to use her to complete your research."

Bergerian raised an eyebrow, "Then you can save her? I assume the virus in her body is about to take hold."

At this comment, several of Edgar's faces turned stony.

"Although she's lucky to have survived this long with the virus, she can't stay lucky because once the incubation period has passed, it will soon be the attack period. Can you save her?" Bergerian asked once again, but a silence answered him.

He laughed, "Yes, I am going to use her to complete my research, but have you ever thought that if the drug that is researched actually works against the virus, then wouldn't she be saved." "Experiments don't work all at once. You want to use Eloise as a guinea pig, testing the drug one at a time, she can't stand repeated torture."

Rowson glared at Bergerian with hatred in his eyes; if it hadn't been for his desire, that terrible virus wouldn't be in the world.

Eloise wouldn't have had to suffer from the virus.

Bergerian smiled noncommittally, "It doesn't matter. As long as she doesn't come back to Italy with me anyway, I won't tell you where Hector is."

At this point, he reminded me, as if in good faith, "By the way, you may never replace him, and the fact that Earlene was able to take him from me means that she is no simple person."

At that, Eloise couldn't help but get a little emotional, "If you don't tell me, you won't walk out of here today!"

She was going to get Hector out of him!

Bergerian grunted disdainfully, "Do you think I'm that stupid to come here to meet you with just two people?"

As soon as he said that, a rush of footsteps sounded outside the box.

Not good!

Edgar cried out and rushed to shield Eloise behind him.

There were a number of people outside, and they all had guns in their hands.

Lisa laughed out loud, "Eloise, isn't there a saying in your country that says, "The mantis catches the cicada and the bird is behind it? Is that what it means?"

Carl's translation made Eloise's face turn grave, the situation was now very unfavourable to them.

If they fought hard, they had no chance of winning.

But if they went soft, she would be the only one to go with Bergerian.

But how could her cousin and the others let her do that.

Just when she didn't know what to do, Rowson suddenly shouted, "Hold your breath!"

Eloise subconsciously raised her hand to cover her mouth and nose, only to see Rowson throw something and the box filled with smoke.

Before she had time to react to what was happening, she was being dragged out of the room.

Running out of the restaurant, she was shoved into a car.

Eloise was dumbfounded the whole time and when she reacted, she was busy asking, "Cousin, where are Mr. Rowson and Thomas?"

"They're in the back." Edgar looked in the rear view mirror, saw the car following him and pulled up the corner of his mouth, "If it wasn't for Rowson this time, we'd all be screwed."

It took him a moment for Eloise to remember something, "Why was Mr. Rowson at the restaurant?"

"He came over early to step in."

Speaking of this, Edgar couldn't help but sigh, "I didn't expect him to come to the restaurant first to apply for a job as a chef, you say it's really too much of a commission for him to take a spatula for a researcher." Eloise couldn't help but feel a little guilty when she heard that.

She knew very well that Rowson would do it all for her.

Not hearing her, Edgar glanced back at her just in time to see the guilt on her face.

He laughed softly, "Eloise, you don't have to feel guilty, either me or Rowson, we did everything willingly. As long as you're safe, that's good enough for us."

The words poked at Eloise's teary eyes, which instantly went red.

She hurriedly turned her head to look out of the window and said, half jokingly, half seriously, "If you're not happy when I say thank you again, then I'll give you a big red envelope when you get married." Edgar lost his smile, "Sure."

...

It was only when they returned to the Khan family that a few of Eloise breathed a real long sigh of relief.

"What a false alarm, I almost thought we wouldn't even make it back." Thomas chuckled and shook his head, "I didn't think that Bergerian was prepared for it either."

Rowson gave him a sidelong glance and said coldly, "He wasn't easy in the first place, how could he have brought only two men with him?"

At that, he looked at Eloise, "Besides, he's got his heart set on Eloise."

"Then we've sort of offended him completely today." Thomas pulled up the corner of his mouth, "But there's nothing to worry about, we're already on opposite sides of the fence from him." "Thank you." Edgar patted Rowson's shoulder, "If it wasn't for you, none of us would have gotten away today."

Thomas hastily echoed, "Yeah, you really did a big favour."

"It's what I should have done." Rowson looked at Eloise, relieved, "As long as Eloise is okay,"

Eloise turned her head and pursed her lips, "I won't say thank you, it's been hard on you."

Rowson was secretly relieved to see that she was still smiling, "We didn't work hard at all."

"Yeah, Miss Eloise, we didn't work hard at all. It's just a shame we didn't get the prince's whereabouts out of Bergerian's mouth." Thomas sighed heavily.

Eloise took a deep breath and said reassuringly, "It's all right, if we look hard enough we'll replace someone."

Edgar pondered for a moment, "Actually, we seem to have overlooked something."

"What?" Thomas asked.

"It's the Bartram family."

Eloise frowned, "What's wrong?"

"The Rawlins are supposed to be the ones who know Earlene best, he's looking for Earlene too, and I've heard he's been flying to Singapore a lot lately." Thomas thought for a moment, "So what you're saying is that Earlene might be in Singapore."

"It's possible." Edgar nodded, "But I'm just guessing."

"Any news from Italy yet?" Rowson asked.

Thomas shook his head, "Not yet."

"Neither have I." Rowson said, "I was going to ask Katerina to ask for flight information from Bergerian, but I didn't expect Bergerian to come to the country, so..." "It's okay, everyone did their best." Edgar patted him on the shoulder reassuringly.

"Since Rawlins flies to Singapore a lot, maybe we can send someone to follow him covertly." Thomas suggested.

Edgar smiled softly, "I was thinking the same thing."

"Then let's do that, I'll go and arrange someone now." With that, Thomas turned to leave.
