Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1207: Feelings don't wait for anyone

"I ...," Edwina suddenly didn't know what to say for a moment.

Yes, what exactly had happened to her?

"Is it hard to say?" Eloise thought she was having trouble saying it and gently reassured, "Just say what you have, don't worry."

She was so gentle and Edwina felt even more sorry for herself when she thought that she was lying to her.

"Miss. Eloise, actually I ..." she wanted to be honest, but Edgar's face flashed in her mind and she could only sigh and say, "I'm having relationship problems. "Relationship problems?" Eloise frowned, "What kind of problems? Can you be more specific?"

"I ... I have a crush on someone." Edwina lowered her head, her hands clenching uneasily.

She did have someone she liked, so it wasn't really a lie, and it made her feel more or less better inside.

Eloise did not rush to ask questions, but looked at her quietly.

It was only after a long moment that she spoke slowly, "Is it someone I know?"

At this, Edwina looked up and met her eyes as if she had seen everything, and averted her eyes sheepishly, "Yes, sort of."

Eloise smiled and continued, "Just sort of?"

Edwina bit her lip, not making a sound.

Eloise thought for a moment, "Edwina, having someone you like has never been a problem, what is the real problem you are having?"

Edwina clenched her hands and hesitated for a moment before she said, "I like... Mr. Edgar."

It took a lot of courage for her to say it.

But after saying it, it felt a lot easier all of a sudden.

Eloise just raised her thin eyebrows slightly, not looking very shocked, as if she already knew.

She had indeed known all along.

"What's wrong with liking my cousin?" She looked at Edwina in confusion.

"Isn't he ... getting engaged to Miss. Elva?"

So that was what was going on.

Eloise pulled the corner of her mouth up, "So you're going to give up, right?"

"Hmm." Edwina nodded gently.

"Why?"

Edwina laughed to herself, "I'm just a single mother, how dare I get high."

"Is that what you really mean?" Eloise's eyes locked on her.

Edwina gave a soft "hmm" and said nothing more.

"Edwina, relationships are not measured by status, but by sincerity." Eloise took a deep breath, "If you really like him, why don't you give it a try, maybe he likes you too?"

"He likes me?" Edwina laughed out, her smile a little bitter, "How could he possibly like me?"

With Edgar's status and position, how many good girls were waiting for him to choose from, how could he possibly look at her, a single mother?

"Why are you presuming?"

Edwina shook her head gently, "Miss. Eloise, I'm not presumptuous, I'm self-aware."

"Self-knowledge?" Eloise couldn't help but sigh, "Edwina, don't look down on yourself, you're really good."

Originally, she had mentioned that she liked Edgar because she couldn't think of anything else at the moment, but now, hearing the words "you're really nice", Edwina's nose couldn't help but sink. She had always been very clear that she and Edgar were from two different worlds, and she did not dare to climb up to the top, nor did she dare to think about it.

"Edwina, since you like it, be brave, maybe you'll be surprised."

Her voice was gentle but invisible with a force.

The corners of Edwina's eyes were moist, she hurriedly sucked in her nose to force the tears back and squeezed out a smile, "Miss. Eloise, are you encouraging me to take the initiative and confess my love?" "Sort of." Eloise nodded, "Mostly, I don't want you to miss out on the relationship."

Because she knew that her cousin was into Edwina, and maybe if Edwina took the initiative to take this step, they would have a good outcome.

Edwina pursed her lips, "And what if, what if he doesn't like me?"

"Not a chance."

Eloise answered too quickly, then realised something was wrong and hurriedly added, "I mean, my cousin has a pretty good impression of you, there is no dislike."

It turned out that Edgar was quite impressed with himself.

The corners of Edwina's mouth couldn't help but rise.

Seeing this, Eloise asked tentatively, "Do you want to give it a try?"

"Let's talk about it."

Edwina still didn't have the courage to take the initiative and confess, fearing that she would be rejected.

Eloise smiled as she saw what she was thinking, "Love doesn't wait for anyone, so don't regret missing out." "I know."

Edwina smiled at her.

Eloise couldn't encourage her otherwise it would be like she was forcing her.

"Are you in a better mood now?" Eloise asked.

"Much better." Edwina nodded.

She hadn't really been in a bad mood in the first place.

"So are you okay to be alone?" Eloise asked again.

Edwina frowned, "Miss. Eloise that means you want to go, doesn't it?"

Eloise smiled shyly, "Actually, I have other things on my mind."

She still wanted to make a trip to the airport herself, otherwise there was no way to feel at ease.

"But..." Edwina was in a difficult position.

If she agreed to let Miss. Eloise go back, then how could she explain to Mr. Edgar.

But Miss. Eloise had something to do, so how could she keep her?

Eloise could not help but smile when she saw her torn face, "What are you thinking? You look like you're having a hard time?"

"Miss. Eloise, I... have other things I want to ask you for." Edwina chose to help Edgar anyway.

"Go ahead."

"The mall where the restaurant I work at is having its anniversary in a few days, and there will be a party then, and I would like you to accompany me to buy a dress.

It's my first time going to such a party and I don't know much about it, so I'm afraid I'll make a joke, so I thought I'd ask you to help me."

Edwina finished in one breath and looked at Eloise nervously.

She should say yes, right?

Eloise nodded, "Okay, I'll go with you to buy."

"Thanks Miss. Eloise," Edwina said with a huge sigh of relief.

Luckily she had said yes, if she hadn't, she really wouldn't have been able to replace any excuse.

"When are you going to buy it?" Eloise asked.

"Now, right now." Edwina got up, "I'll go and change and we'll go out."

Watching her walk into the room, Eloise shook her head and lost her smile.

Suddenly there was a feeling that she was like a sister to Edwina.

At that moment, Edwina's mobile phone, which was on the table, rang.

Eloise looked at it and stared in amazement that it was her cousin calling.

But what was her cousin doing calling Edwina at this moment?

She hesitated, then picked up the phone.

As soon as she picked it up, Edgar's voice came on the other end, "Edwina, how is it going, did Eloise come to you?" "Cousin, it's me."

At the sound of Eloise's voice, Edgar's heart thumped, how could she be the one to answer the phone?

"Cousin, I didn't expect you to care so much about Edwina."

Edgar laughed dryly as a teasing voice rang out, "I'm concerned about you, not Edwina."

"Is that so?" Eloise didn't believe it.

"Now that you're at Edwina's, I'm hanging up."

Without waiting for Eloise to respond, the phone hung up.

Taking the phone off and looking at the blacked out screen, Eloise couldn't help but smile.

It seemed that her cousin was really taken with Edwina.
