Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1270: Who the hell is she?
The emotion instantly filled the whole heart.
Edwina's eyes misted up, she wiped the corners of her eyes sideways, turned back and looked deeply at Edgar. "You can't go back on your word."
Edgar nodded, "Well, no broken promises."
Edgar didn't go home until after ten o'clock.
The next morning, he was ready to leave for work when he opened the door and saw Eloise standing outside. "Eloise?" exclaimed Edgar in surprise, hurrying to call her into the house, "What are you doing back?"
Eloise closed her eyes, tears sliding down the corners, her voice choked with sobs, "Got kicked out by Earlene." Edgar frowned tightly, "What's going on?"
"Edgar, I thought I heard you calling for Eloise, how..."
Brimlad came out of the dining room, walking along, his voice stopping abruptly as he froze at the sight of Eloise.
Then reacting, he quickly walked over to Eloise and saw her crying and frowned, "Eloise, what's wrong?"
Eloise was crying so hard she couldn't speak, her tears kept falling down.
Seeing this, Edgar sighed softly, "Let's go sit in the living room first."
He put his arm around Eloise and headed for the living room.
Brimlad hurried to follow him.
He thought he had managed to get into the Bartram family and thought he would be able to bring Hector home without any problems, but he had never expected to be thrown out like this. Heaven to hell.
It's a hard transition for anyone to accept.
That's why Eloise is crying so hard.
Although Edgar and Brimlad were anxious and distressed, they couldn't help but let her express all her emotions.
After an unknown amount of time, the crying slowly stopped.
"Wipe." Edgar drew some tissues and handed them over.
Eloise took them and casually wiped them off, smiling to herself, "I'm really useless, I just cry and cry."
Her voice was a little muffled from crying for so long, and there was a hint of a sob.
"What nonsense!" Brimlad scolded in a low voice, taking her hand in his and softly reassuring her, "The sky hasn't fallen yet, anything can be fixed."
"Little aunt." Eloise's heart sank and tears filled her eyes again.
"Come on, don't cry." Brimlad wiped her tears, "What's going on? You need to tell us, we'll figure it out together."
Eloise sniffled and gathered her emotions before she began to talk about what had happened at the Bartram family.
...
That day, while she was busy in the front yard, she heard the others talking about Earlene and Hector's wedding.
"I heard that the lady's wedding is planned to be held right at the cottage, with everything kept simple."
"Really? Isn't that too casual?"
"I can't help it, the lady is in such a hurry to have the wedding for the old lady."
"Yes, the old lady's greatest wish is to see the prince and the young lady start their own families, and this young lady's marriage is also a fulfillment of her wish."
...
Eloise's thoughts were confused as she listened, all she could think about was the fact that Earlene and Hector were getting married.
It was the middle of the month, and if she didn't replace a way to make Hector remember her, she would really have to watch him marry another woman.
The thought of him marrying Earlene felt like her heart was being clenched in a fierce grip.
It hurt so badly that she couldn't breathe.
She closed her eyes, squeezed her palms tightly, and only when the pain in her heart had eased a little did she open her eyes, her eyes unusually determined. She couldn't wait any longer, she had to bring Hector home in the next few days.
She was so desperate that she couldn't even think about it before she made a decision.
Evening.
Eloise crept out of her room while everyone in the villa was asleep.
Looking up at the first floor and then around, she took a deep breath and lifted her feet up the stairs.
When she reached the first floor, she stood in the corridor, her eyes looking towards Hector's room, and approached it gently, step by step.
When she reached the door, she stopped, squeezed her cold sweaty palms nervously and reached for the door.
It was unlocked.
She opened the door with ease, the room was dim, with little light.
Once inside, she closed the door gently behind her.
Waiting for her eyes to adjust to the darkness, she slowly approached the bed.
She switched on her mobile phone torch and caught a glimpse of Hector sleeping on the bed, her eyes instantly reddened as the familiar handsome face fell into her eyes. Now was not the time to cry!
She wiped the corners of her eyes and leaned over, gently shaking Hector, "Hector, Hector ..."
Hector was drifting off to sleep when he heard his name being called, he opened his eyes and gasped in shock when he saw a glimpse of a figure.
Luckily it wasn't too loud or it would have certainly startled Earlene.
"It's me." Eloise whispered.
Hector sat up as he took in her appearance, his brow furrowing slightly, "How did you get in here?"
"Walked in."
"Of course I know you walked in, I'm asking why you're in my room at this late hour?" Hector's voice was a little hoarse because he had just woken up. "I have something to say to you."
"What is it?"
"You can't marry Earlene."
At that, Hector looked at him suspiciously, "Is that why you came to my room so late to talk about it?"
"It's important." Eloise suddenly gripped his hand, "Hector, you must never marry Earlene!"
"What are you doing?" Hector tried to pull his hand back, but her grip was tight and she had a serious expression on her face.
An inexplicable sense of familiarity came over him and Hector frowned, giving up and pulling his hand back, "You give me a reason."
"You have a wife, you have children, and you would be hurting your wife and children if you married Earlene."
How did she sound like she knew so much about his past when she was just a servant?
Hector felt something was wrong, his expression was slightly cold and his voice sunk, "Who the hell are you?"
"It doesn't matter who I am, what matters is that you do as I say."
Eloise's noncommittal attitude made Hector feel increasingly out of sorts.
He jerked his hand back hard and said coldly, "I don't know what your purpose is in saying such things to me, but get out of here before Earlene and the others replace out or I'll call for someone." "No! I won't leave until you promise me." Eloise stared at him steadily, as if he wouldn't stop until he said yes.
Hector was unmoved, "In that case, I'll shout."
When he saw that Eloise was still reluctant to leave, he opened his mouth to shout.
Eloise pounced on him and gagged him with her mouth.
Hector's eyes went wide with shock.
Then, a soft touch on his lips and her scent filled his nostrils.
It was a familiar feeling again!
He was bewildered.
Why did the woman in front of him always give him an inexplicable sense of familiarity, twice.
Eloise stepped back, her clear eyes fixed on him.
In her eyes, he could see a surprising amount of love.
She loved him?
Hector was even more bewildered.
Who the hell was she?
