Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1286: I want to see you now

"Think of something else." Edgar said.

Eloise laughed bitterly, "What else can we do? If we could think of a way, we wouldn't be trying to rob someone straight away." Edgar was silent for a few seconds and spoke up, "Have the Rawlins contacted you?"

"No." Eloise shook her head.

"Then I'll contact him and ask him exactly what he should do to make it right."

"That's fine, you'll talk to me then about what's going on."

"Good."

Eloise walked out of the study and sighed heavily.

Could the wedding really be stopped?

...

Shortly after Eloise went out, Edgar found Rawlins' number and dialed it.

It was soon picked up on the other end.

"I'm sorry, I can't really help you guys." Without waiting for him to speak, Rawlins made his point bluntly.

"Why?"

"Because that's my sister and her happiness is more important than anything else."

There was a surprising one hundred and eighty degree change in his attitude.

Edgar couldn't accept it a little, "But that's also the woman you love, are you really willing to do that?"

There was a silence on the other side of the phone.

Edgar hurried on, "And Hector doesn't love your sister, he loves Eloise, and one day he'll get his memory back, and when he does, he won't let your sister go." Still silence.

But Edgar was in no hurry; he waited quietly for a response.

It was a long time before Rawlins' voice came again, "There is no stopping it now, unless there is a way for you to break up the wedding that day."

Edgar's brow furrowed as he heard this, "How? I'm sure you've arranged for a lot of people to be there, and it's not even clear if we'll be able to get in." "Of course you can get in with me around."

"And is there any danger?" Edgar asked.

He asked because it was clear that when the time came Eloise would certainly ask to go with them to the wedding.

"You want no danger at all, that's not going to happen. But I'll try to get you all back safely."

That was all that could be done for now.

Edgar took a deep breath and let it out slowly, "Okay, just do what you say."

"The wedding is on the twenty-eighth, so you guys go ahead and make arrangements for the good people."

With that, Rawlins hung up the phone.

Edgar thought hard for a moment, walked out of the study, went outside Eloise's room and raised his hand to knock on the door. "Eloise, it's me."

The door opened and Eloise came out, "Any results?"

Edgar nodded, "Yeah."

"What results?" Eloise pressed hastily.

"Rawlins means for us to wreak havoc on the wedding day."

"What does that mean?" Eloise kind of missed the point.

"It's to sabotage the wedding."

"Doesn't that ... mean pretty much the same thing as Thomas robbing someone?" Eloise didn't think it was all that different. "But this time we have Rawlins to help, so at least it's a little safer."

Edgar really hated to see anyone get hurt.

Eloise nodded, "I'll talk to Thomas about it then. And what exactly do we have to do?"

"I'll have to plan this one, we can't fight an unprepared battle, we have to bring someone back this time."

"Thank you, cousin."

She really didn't know what she would have done without their help.

Edgar raised his hand and rubbed her head, smiling, "You don't have to be polite with me. Get some rest early." Eloise nodded, "Good night."

She turned and went inside, closing the door behind her.

Solomon and Sweety, who were in the room, saw her enter and both little ones jumped off the bed and ran towards her.

Sweety threw her arms around her legs and looked up at her expectantly, "Mummy, is Daddy coming home?"

EloiseEdwina smiled, "Yes, he's coming home."

"Mummy, is that true?" Solomon was still a little unconvinced.

He thought of the daddy who didn't know him or Sweety at all in someone else's house and his heart began to fear again.

It was clearly his and Sweety's daddy and yet he didn't know them.

He was too much of a man to say he missed his daddy so much, he could only think about it secretly in his mind.

"Of course it's true." Eloise bent over and stroked his head, "I know you all miss Daddy so much, so Mummy will bring him back in a few days." "Mummy, let's hook up."

Sweety crossed her little thumbs.

Eloise lost her smile, "What? Don't you trust mummy?"

"No. I just think that if we hook up, daddy will come back."

Sweety's innocent words made Eloise's heart sink.

"Okay, listen to Sweety."

Eloise reached out her hand and hooked her little thumb.

"Hook and line for a hundred years and you'll be a puppy if you change."

Sweety recited the words, and when she was done, she immediately let go of Eloise's hand and smiled, "There."

"Now that the hook has been pulled, isn't it time for bed?" Eloise looked at them.

Sweety and Solomon looked at each other and then turned back to bed at the same time in silence.

"Mummy, we want to sleep with you." Sweety flopped down on the bed, her voice soft and pouty.

Eloise's heart softened and she looked to Solomon, "Does Solomon want it too?"

Solomon nods heavily.

Eloise smiled, "Okay, sleep with me."

That night, perhaps because of the baby, Eloise slept soundly and slept until dawn.

...

The next day, after breakfast, Eloise went out to replace Thomas to tell him what Edgar had said last night.

The car pulled up under the house where Thomas lived and as soon as she got out, a few people gathered around her.

Eloise looked at them warily, "What do you want?"

"Someone wants to see you." The other man said.

"Who?" A person flashed through Eloise's mind.

Could it be him?

Just then, her phone rang.

An unfamiliar number.

She hesitated before picking it up, and a familiar voice rang in her ear, "Sofía, how are you?"

It was Bergerian.

It really was a case of the house falling through the cracks.

No sooner had the Hector affair been resolved than Bergerian came along.

Eloise took a deep breath and asked coldly, "Is something wrong?"

"Don't you want to know where I've been all this time?" Bergerian asked.

The corner of Eloise's mouth lifted in a sneer, "I'm not interested in your business at all."

Bergerian wasn't offended, "I want to see you."

"You can see me, but not now." Eloise looked at the people surrounding her and said coldly.

She had more important things to do right now and didn't have time to see Bergerian.

"When?" Bergerian asked.

"When I'm in a good mood."

The answer made Bergerian laugh out loud.

Hearing Bergerian's laughter through the phone, Eloise's heart chills inexplicably, and her hand tightens around the phone.

It took a moment for the laughter to stop and Bergerian's voice came again, "I need to see you now."

As soon as the words left his lips, the men on this side of the room immediately stepped forward and picked her up left and right. "Let go of me, you guys!" Eloise was horrified.
