Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 811: Infiltrating the Dinner
He flicked the small bottle at his fingertips as a million thoughts flashed through his mind. Finally, the image is framed on Eloise's clear face..
What was his life worth for Eloise's sake?
"Mr Bergerian is over-worried."
After saying this, he opened the cap straight away and tilted his head and drank it down.
After drinking for a few seconds, he waited with bated breath for the reaction inside his body, while having a slight doubt in his mind.
This liquid, not only transparent in colour, but even in taste, is similar to water.
He felt it and there was indeed no strange sensation of poison in his throat as he had imagined.
As far as he knew, normal medicines, no matter how finely made, would have a slight smell.
But this potion is horribly tasteless...
Bergerian watched Rowson's movements without blinking, and after he had finished the liquid he suddenly applauded and smiled: "Mr. Rowson is a real man, good, good, I see your sincerity, good cooperation!" He held out his broad palm and shook Rowson's with a smile in his eyes.
The partnership was agreed and Rowson didn't want to stay longer.
Excusing himself for something, he got up and left.
Walking to the door, Bergerian suddenly called out to him and said languidly, "Mr. Rowson doesn't want to know, what is it you're drinking?"
Rowson paused and raised an eyebrow without making a sound.
Bergerian said rather admiringly, "That was filled with nothing more than plain water, I just wanted to try and see if you dared to drink it, but Mr. Rowson didn't disappoint me."
At his words, a hint of sulk at being played surfaced on Rowson's face, but, again, disappeared in an instant.
Nodding, he pulled the door open and left.
After he had gone, Bergerian pulled out his mobile phone and made a call.
Soon after, Katerina appeared and, seeing that Rowson had left, could not help but ask out loud, "Mr Bergerian, how did the talk go?"
Bergerian gave her a sidelong glance and said smugly, "What do you think?"
"Congratulations Mr Bergerian, I knew there was nothing you couldn't do when you stepped in."
A smile blossomed at the corners of Katerina's mouth.
Bergerian accepted the compliment, lit a cigar and ordered, "In a couple of days you will take him to the Institute to see Professor Curry." "Okay." Katerina nodded.
At this time, another high building in Italy.
Hector's breath was cold and heavy around him, and Thomas stood to one side, not daring to breathe.
The heart screams for more.
At this point, why didn't someone come out and help shield him from the cold air emanating from Mr Hector.
As if hearing his heart, Hector's mobile phone suddenly rang.
But Hector remained glued to a document as if he hadn't heard it.
Thomas had to take the risk of reminding, "Your phone is ringing, Prince."
Hector glanced at it faintly and picked up the phone to answer it.
"Any news?" Hector's voice was distinctly icy.
Ramm on the other end of the computer froze, and inexplicably, a slight chill ran through his body.
It was another touch of the prince's scales.
"Prince, I have found out something, Bergerian seems to be extremely close to the Hades Society, there should be a great connection between them." Hector's eyes sank.
So, it was definitely the Bergerian side that took Eloise.
Hector's teeth were clenched; Bergerian was a cancer that had repeatedly provoked him, and now it was time to get rid of it.
Seeing no response from Hector's side, Ramm was a little puzzled and called out, "Prince?"
Hector tugged at the corner of his mouth and ordered, "Keep watching."
Ramm promised to come down.
After hanging up the phone, Hector's breath was even colder and deeper than it had been a moment before.
The air became quiet for a while and Thomas felt as if he had forgotten something and kept thinking hard about it.
My eyes scanned the Bergerian file on the desk and a sudden flash of light came to my mind and I blurted out, "I remember." Hector gave him a look and Thomas immediately collected his expression and said, "Prince, I remembered something. Hector took a stance and said, "When?"
"It's tomorrow night."
At that, Hector immediately said, "Go and get ready, we'll go to the party tomorrow night."
"Yes."
Hector was worried about getting information from Bergerian, so they could follow the trail and maybe replace Rowson and Eloise. This time, they were too successful in hiding.
Even Hector himself was unable to replace a single trace.
Let's just say that both Rowson and Bergerian were quite cautious.
Hector's eyes darkened and his lips curved into an extremely cold and stern curve.
Thomas turned just in time to see this expression, and with a heartbeat, his steps quickened a little.
It looked like someone was going to suffer, a look the prince rarely showed.
The following evening, International Hotel, 5th floor ballroom.
Guests are coming and going on the lightable floor and Bergerian, in his suit, is greeting them with a big smile.
"The lift opened with a ding.
The first to come out was a tall, erect man with a few careless moments on his plain face.
But even so, that aura is not to be ignored.
The other man came out a few steps behind and the two entered the ballroom in a very low profile, without greeting anyone.
But from time to time people around them looked at them, mainly because the man walking in front of them was so eye-catching.
Although he has kept a low profile, the aura he exudes cannot be ignored by others.
It is inexplicably awe-inspiring and submissive.
Both men are holding glasses of wine, appearing to be relaxed, but talking in secret.
"Have you seen the Bergerian?"
"See, he's at the right rear."
The two men were Hector and Thomas, who had been brought in under different disguises. Thomas glanced around the room with some concern and a vague worry in his mind. More people came than expected and there were quite a few men in black around.
At first glance it was a bodyguard, and it seemed that Bergerian was prepared for it.
"Prince, the Bergerian is cautious." Thomas frowned.
Hector nodded; a Bergerian's level of caution would have been prudent in terms of security.
Looking at the number of bodyguards densely packed around him, Thomas regretted not bringing more men with him.
Hector sneered, "You think more people can be brought in?"
At that, Thomas couldn't help but grimace; he was still really confused.
At this point, Bergerian, who was talking to one person in the ballroom.
With a glance, his eyes narrowed slightly as he saw the man with the uncommon air over here.
Gazing around in his mind, he made sure he didn't know this man.
