Love Comes To Me
Chapter 834: There's simply no way to get started

For some reason, there was always a vague feeling of unease in the back of Bergerian's mind.

...

Inside the Rogers Group meeting room, the executives looked at each other, wondering what Hector, sitting in the main seat with his face unrecognisable, was thinking.

After a long time, Hector dumped a pile of information on the table and said with a grim expression, "The company is now losing money, I'm sure you can see it, next..." Even before the words left their lips, the group in the room felt a cool sensation.

Ten minutes later, Hector emerged from the conference room before the executives in the room breathed a sigh of relief.

...

Over the next two days, Hector was at the office almost day and night, not leaving an inch, and things gradually improved for the company.

The information previously lost is slowly being restored.

Looking at the numbers bouncing around on the screen, Hector's mouth turned up in a cold smile.

This was the sight Thomas saw when he opened the door and came in.

The way Hector had a smile on his lips was really not at all amiable.

A chill ran down Thomas' spine.

The sound of the door opening pulled Hector's thoughts back and, looking at Thomas's surprised look, Hector hooked his hand. "Any results?"

At the sound of his voice, Thomas nodded before stepping forward and handing the information in his hands to Hector, "Prince, the situation with our stocks has improved, these are the overall capital statements." With those words, Thomas stepped back.

Hector flipped through the information and raised his eyebrows gently without speaking.

After a moment, Hector closed the file in his hand and his voice trailed off, "Is there any evidence pointing to Bergerian in this case?"

"There isn't any substantial evidence yet that this time it was Bergerian who did it, so the police aren't involved." Thomas said truthfully.

Hector's eyes narrowed slightly and his air pressure dropped abruptly, "Very well."

Dropping those two words, he picked up his jacket from the back of the chair and left straight away.

Looking at Hector's back, Thomas couldn't help but shake his head and began to feel a bit sorry for Bergerian.

This is a real disaster for Bergerian.

Leaving the office, Hector drove straight home.

When I returned home, I saw Eloise sitting on the swing in the front yard and quietly walked over to her.

I thought of sneaking in to scare her, but walked in to replace Eloise actually asleep holding a swing rope, her little head a little.

Seeing her like this, Hector felt that all the fatigue of the past few days had been lifted in an instant. He bent down, put one arm around her shoulders, hooked one hand around her knees and carefully lifted her up. Walking slowly into the house, he went upstairs and put her down on the big soft bed in the bedroom.

And then, taking a set of pyjamas from the cloakroom, he went into the bathroom to take a shower.

Soon after, he emerged from the bathroom and went to bed. He took Eloise into his arms, having not slept for two days in a row, and at this moment, with the little woman in his arms, his tense nerves gradually relaxed. Within a few moments, he fell into a deep sleep.

Eloise fell asleep, her nostrils filled with a nice, fresh scent, but then felt something binding her and couldn't help but open her eyes.

As far as the eye could see, there was Hector asleep.

His breathing was even and long, he seemed tired, and even when he was asleep, his brow was frowning slightly.

His eyelashes were long and fell in the light, casting a shadow that softened his whole aura.

Eloise tried to raise a hand to smooth his furrowed brow, but she had barely moved when Hector's eyes snapped open and he came to his senses.

Eloise saw that his eyes were red and bloodshot and was distressed, her hand covering his brow and gently smoothing it out as she said with concern, "Did it work out?"

Sensing her concern, Hector received her hand into his palm, "Don't worry, there hasn't been anything your husband couldn't solve."

Hearing the teasing in his words, Eloise gave him a sidelong glance and punched him on the shoulder in feigned annoyance.

Turning his head away from Hector.

Seeing this, Hector hooked his lips and gently pinched her thin waist.

It tickled so much that Eloise couldn't tense up at once..

After the two of them had played around for a while, Eloise burrowed into Hector's arms and softly asked, "You don't have to go to the office again today, do you?"

He had been working late at the office for two days in a row and Eloise was worried that his body would not be able to cope.

"Well, there's no need to go, just stay home and keep you company."

With those words, Hector left a kiss on her forehead.

Eloise's cheeks could not help but heat up a little and her head dug further and further into the crook of his arm, as if she hated to hide herself.

Seeing her like this, Hector couldn't help but tighten his embrace.

This night, Eloise slept exceptionally well, the chest behind her always giving her a silent sense of solidity.

The following day, a ringing mobile phone woke Hector from his sleep.

Looking at the caller ID, it was King calling.

Glancing at Eloise, who was still asleep, Hector crept up and out of the room.

"Boss, it's done, the information has been emailed to you." King said simply and sharply.

"Good."

After hanging up the phone, Hector went straight to the study.

Clicking on the email, he scanned the information sent by King and his eyes emerged cold and stern.

It was then forwarded to another person.

Within half an hour, the whole of Italy was in an uproar.

Bergerian's pharmaceutical company has been exposed for the existence of illegal drugs and has been known to kill people.

The police intervened at the first opportunity when human lives were at stake.

The direct seizure of some of his pharmaceutical companies.

At that moment, Bergerian was enjoying the services of his maid at home when he heard the report of his subordinate, kicked the woman beside him violently and hurriedly dressed to go to the office. Even before he arrived at the office, Bergerian saw the media and the guns surrounding the entrance to the office.

He was still surprised for a moment how these media had received the news so quickly.

However, this was not the time to think about it and, in order not to be stopped, Bergerian managed to disguise himself as an ordinary employee and, under the cover of his men, blended into the company building. Walking into the office, Bergerian switched on his computer and saw that the internet was awash with news that was not good for the company.

At that moment, the assistant came running in from outside in a panic and said urgently, "Mr Bergerian, it's not good!"

At that, Bergerian's brow furrowed and he snapped, "What's the panic!"

The assistant trembled as she handed the information in her hand to Bergerian and whispered, "Our stock market trend is plummeting right now, and at this rate, we'll evaporate hundreds of millions in market value in less than a day." Hearing this, Bergerian's face was horribly grim; he hadn't expected such a sudden turn of events.

"Did you replace out what this one was all about?"

The assistant shook his head, "Can't replace out, the person delivering the message is a virtual ID, there's no way to replace out."

After hearing this, Bergerian could not help but clench his palms so hard that his nails dug deep into the flesh of his palms. Can't replace out?

Heh, it's ridiculous that there are still people in Italy that he, Bergerian, can't replace out about.

Who else would it be but Hector!

He's really fast!

It is really underestimated that he would use such tactics to strike himself.

The tricky part now, however, is how to minimise the company's losses.

Looking at the plummeting stock market curve, Bergerian could not wait to cut Hector into pieces right now.

Bergerian swept all the things on the table to the floor, and the assistant didn't even dare to make a sound, fearing that he would be affected.

In contrast to the anxious state of affairs on the Bergerian side, there was a peaceful scene on the Hector side.
