Love Comes To Me
Chapter 919: A Plan to Delay

Killers thought hard about it and thought he was right.

Now that she has achieved her goal, there is really no need to sell them the herbs again or she will have to go through the trouble of burning them again. "So what do you do next?" Killers asked.

"Back home."

He misses Eloise and the two children.

Seeing the unconscious tenderness in his eyes, Killers couldn't help but tease, "You really can't stay away from your wife."

At one point she thought that no woman could stand Hector's cold personality and that he would probably be single for the rest of his life.

But I never thought he would get married and not be cold at all in front of his wife, and be gentle and affectionate.

It's something Killers didn't dare to imagine, so it still feels a bit surreal to this day.

Hector doesn't care about her flirting, because he really can't live without Eloise.

"When I return home, keep an eye on John for me and let me know the first time there's any movement."

"Gotta, I really owe you."

Killers ruffled his hair and continued, seemingly carelessly, "Have a safe trip." "Thanks."

Another thank you!

Killers laughed dryly, "Alright, I'll be off. I'll be in touch if something comes up." With that said, he left without looking back.

"Prince, I've booked the tickets, the flight is tomorrow morning." Thomas said.

Hector nodded, then he went back to his room to call Eloise.

Eloise is always the first to answer the phone, but surprisingly this time she didn't. Taking a break?

Hector took down his phone and stared at its screen with a frown.

He called again, but still no connection.

There is something vaguely unsettling in the mind.

So he called his mother, and when he got through, her surprised voice rang in his ears, "Why do you call me so rarely?"

Instead of answering, Hector asked, "Mom, where's Eloise?"

"I knew you wouldn't call me." Hector's mother said in a grumpy voice, "Eloise is in her room resting at the moment. What can I do for you?"

It turned out to be a break.

Hector was relieved and hung up the phone after a few words with Hector's mother.

He didn't want to disturb Eloise's rest as he was going back tomorrow anyway.

...

During Hector's days abroad, Eloise, in addition to the sudden red patches of skin that had previously appeared, felt that she was easily tired and sometimes had no energy. Sener and Almeida said it was a combination of the virus in her body and the drugs, but she always felt it wasn't that simple.

No, she woke up from her nap and it was even harder for her.

The head is dizzy and the limbs are sore and weak.

She took her own temperature and it was 37. 8 degrees.

Fever.

Thinking about her earlier fever, she realised that her health problems were far more troublesome than she had thought. "Mummy."

Solomon and Sweety ran into the room, one after the other, both little ones with big smiles on their faces.

Despite the person's discomfort, Eloise put on a light smile and softly asked, "What's so happy?"

"Grandma taught us how to make cakes." Sweety said in a milky voice.

"You guys are great." Eloise stroked each of their heads.

"Mummy get up." Sweety took her hand, "Go downstairs and eat the cake, it's delicious."

Eloise got up at the word, dizzy and frowning with discomfort.

Solomon noticed and hurriedly asked, "Mummy, are you not feeling well?"

Seeing the worry written all over his baby face, Eloise gave him a reassuring smile, "No, I just woke up and haven't gotten over it yet." "Sweety, you and your brother go downstairs first, Mummy will be here later."

Sweety nodded good-naturedly, "Okay, then mummy hurry up."

"Good."

Eloise smiled as she watched the two children go out, then put away her smile and her expression became grave.

No, with the way things were going, she had to go to Almeida and Sener.

...

Italy.

Early the next morning, Hector and Thomas appeared in the hotel lobby on the ground floor to check out. "Prince, well."

Thomas walks up to Hector with his suitcase in tow.

"Go."

Hector was the first to walk out of the hotel and was stopped before anyone had a chance to get into the car. "Who are you?"

Thomas hurriedly stepped in front of Hector and looked at the other man with a defensive look on his face.

"Mr Hector," came a familiar voice.

Hector's eyes flickered slightly and he looked at the approaching man with a calm expression.

The man was no other than John.

He walked up to Hector with a smile on his face, swept his eyes over the suitcase that Thomas had dropped and looked at Hector with a raised eyebrow, "Mr Hector, what are you doing here?" "Back home."

Two clean, crisp words.

John knew of course that he was returning home, but didn't want him to just go back, so he said, "It seems that I have not been very accommodating and that is why you are in such a hurry to return." "None of your business." Not wanting to waste time with him, Hector turned his head and ordered Thomas, "Put the luggage in the trunk."

Having said that, he walked around the man who had stopped him and headed for the car.

Seeing this, John rushed up to stop him, "Mr Hector, wait."

"Something wrong?" Hector stopped and looked at him coldly.

John rubbed his hands together and spoke tentatively, "It's like this, as you know the herbs were burned, but I have to use them for my side of the research, so ... I was wondering if I could order another batch of them from you." "Want to order another batch of herbs?" Hector asked instead of answering.

"Yes."

John thought he wouldn't say no to this money-making business.

And Hector really didn't refuse, "Good."

John was relieved to see him say yes, but the next second he heard Hector say, "But..."

At the word "but", John's heart lifted.

"The herb batches are so large that I need time to prepare them."

This is just a delaying tactic on Hector's part.

John didn't doubt it, as the batch was indeed too large for anyone else to have it ready at once.

"OK then, I'll give you a week to prepare, do you think that's OK?"

"Yes."

He doesn't sell anyway, and even if he gave a month he wouldn't be able to prepare it.

Seeing him agree so readily, John burst out laughing, "Mr Hector is a pain in the ass too, it's really an honour to work with you."

Hector was indifferent to his compliments and asked in a cold tone, "May I get in?"

John froze, then reacted by hurriedly moving to the side, a smile piled on his face, "Yes, of course."

With that, he even helped to open the car door, "Please."

Hector gave him a look and got into the car with a blank face.

"Mr Hector, you are welcome to come back next time."

Only after saying this did John close the car door behind him.

Watching the car fade away until it disappeared from sight, John withdrew his eyes and the smile on his face disappeared instantly.

"Pierce."

Pierce, who was standing a short distance away, hurried forward, "Mr John, what can I do for you?"

"Keep an eye on him, and make sure the new herbs are in place in a week."

"Yes."

John looked at Pierce, his eyes narrowed slightly, and said in a deep voice, "If you screw this up again this time, you'll really be responsible for all of it." Pierce nodded heavily, "Understood."
