Love Comes To Me
Chapter 941: Supporting all her decisions

Eloise listened and turned her head to look at the unconscious old man with a feeling in her heart that could not be described. Sultry.

"After such a serious car accident this time, to put it mildly, it's a breath of air hanging on, and I don't know if it will ever get better." Speaking of which, Brimlad cried.

Eloise's eyes flushed red as she sniffled and reached for Brimlad's hand, holding back tears, "Grandpa will be fine, he will be fine." Before the words were out of my mouth, tears came to my eyes.

"I'm sorry."

Eloise turned her head sideways and wiped her tears haphazardly.

Brimlad patted her hand, "Let's all stop crying. The old man is a blessed man and will pull through this time. It's just that ..."

Unsure of what had occurred to him, Brimlad's expression became torn for a moment.

"Is there something you want to say, Auntie?" Eloise asked tentatively.

Brimlad hesitated, "Eloise, how is your mother now?"

Eloise pursed her lips and replied truthfully, "My mother is the same as ever."

"Eloise, you know what? Your grandmother talked about your mother until she passed away, and I think her greatest regret in life was that she didn't get to see your mother before she died." The words were like a knife in Eloise's heart, causing the tears she had so easily stopped to break out again.

"It was my mother who was sorry for Grandma." She choked out a whispered sob.

"Eloise, I hope this regret doesn't happen to Sr. again."

Brimlad means it, Eloise gets it.

She nodded heavily, "Auntie, I know what to do."

"That's hard work."

...

Later in the evening, Hector also arrived at the hospital.

After seeing the old man, Eloise dragged him downstairs to the garden.

"Hector, there's something ..."

Halfway through the conversation, Eloise hesitated.

Was she really going to do that?

Hector asked suspiciously, "What's wrong?"

Eloise took a deep breath, as if with great determination, "I want to get my mother over here."

"Received this way?"

"Well, the person Grandpa misses most is my mum, and now that Grandpa is like this, maybe my mum being there for him will help him wake up sooner."

"I'll support you in whatever decision you make." Hector said.

Eloise curled her lips in a smile, "Thank you, Hector."

"I'll arrange for Thomas to pick up Mum, so you can wait here in peace."

As soon as she asked, he was organised and had everything set up and done.

"It's good to have you." She opened her arms and wrapped them around his waist.

Hector hugged her, the corners of his lips rising slowly, a pale softness in his eyes. Thomas was very efficient and picked Maryam up from City J the next day. "Mom." Eloise ran over to her mother and hugged her as soon as she saw her. Maryam patted her back gently.

"Mum, I'm sorry to have tossed you around so much."

The muffled voice was full of guilt.

Her mother's health should not have been tossed around like this, but it was a decision that had no choice and she felt sure that her mother wanted to be with her grandfather. "I've heard it all from Mr Thomas." Maryam said, "Take me to see your grandfather."

The mother is too calm.

Eloise was a little worried, "Mum, are you okay?"

"What can I do?"

Eloise looked at her intently, trying to see something in her calm demeanour, but nothing came out.

Not right.

It is reasonable to assume that a mother of her character would have been sad to hear about what had happened to her grandfather.

How can it be so calm?

"Eloise, what are you standing around for? Take me to see your grandfather." Maryam urged.

Eloise responded, "Good."

When she reached the door of the ward, Eloise felt her mother's hand tighten suddenly as she took her by the hand and turned her head to see that her mother's face was still calm, but there was more than a little sadness in her eyes. "Mom, Grandpa's in there." Eloise whispered.

Without making a sound, Maryam reached out and pushed the door open.

The ward is quiet, with only the sound of the monitor dripping and the faint smell of sterile water in the air.

The walk from the doorway to the bedside was, I fear, the furthest Maryam had ever walked in her life.

The once spirited old man now lies motionless in his hospital bed, his sharp, spiritual eyes tightly closed, his face bloodless. Dad...

The word "Dad" was caught in my throat.

Maryam suddenly felt a blackness in her eyes.

"Mum!"

Eloise's eyes went wide as she saw her mother's body fall backwards and she cried out in disbelief.

Thomas, who was waiting outside, heard it and rushed in.

Eloise was seen sitting on the floor with her mother in her arms.

"Miss Eloise," he said, hurrying forward.

Eloise turned her head and shouted at him, "Quick, call a doctor."

In the next moment, tears came to my eyes.

It turned out that the mother had not just been calm, but had suppressed all her sadness and pain.

The doctor arrived, checked Maryam's condition and said, "It's just a stimulated fainting spell, she'll be awake in a few minutes."

Just as the doctor finished speaking here, Maryam was heard to groan.

"Mum!" Eloise hurried over.

Maryam opened her eyes and caught a glimpse of her daughter's crying red eyes and was heartbroken, "I'm sorry to have worried you." Eloise purses her lips and shakes her head, tears welling up in her eyes.

"People are awake, but they still need to rest."

The doctor finished his explanation and left.

Hector didn't accompany Eloise to the hospital today because he had something to do, but told Eloise to let Thomas do whatever she wanted. "Mr Thomas," Eloise said, turning her head to look over.

Thomas rushed forward, "Miss Eloise, what can I do for you?"

"You help me arrange for my mother's ward to be next door, and then tell the doctor all about her condition."

At this, Maryam hurriedly asked, "Eloise, what are you doing?"

Eloise looked back at her, "Mum, you wouldn't feel comfortable going back to City J in the state Grandpa is in, so why not just stay here and get treatment?" "But..."

Having not been back to Kyoto for too many years, Maryam was a little timid.

She was afraid of seeing her brother and brother and meeting the Khan family.

Eloise knew what she was worried about and reassured, "Mum, Uncle and the others miss you too, so just stay here with Grandpa and heal here in peace." She was right, she wouldn't be at ease if she just went back to City J.

Maryam nodded, "Okay, all yours."

Thomas got everything done just as Eloise had told him to.

Eloise was amazed at how efficient he was.

It's true that the kind of boss you have is the kind of employee you have.

Hector is excellent, and his assistant is just as good.

"Mr Thomas, thank you." If he hadn't been there, she wouldn't have been able to do this today.

Flattered by her thanks, Thomas hastened to say, "It is my duty to do so, and, besides, the prince has ordered it in advance."
